Soniya Mathew
Soniya MathewJob Title:Registered ManagerJoined: 2009

I am the Registered Manager, with extensive experience in leading and managing care services to provide safe, high-quality, and person-centred care. I am passionate about creating a positive environment where residents feel valued, respected, and supported, while ensuring that the service continues to meet the highest standards of care.

I joined Unity Homes in 2009 and have developed a strong understanding of our service through a variety of clinical and leadership roles. This experience has given me valuable insight into all aspects of care delivery, staff support, quality improvement, and effective service management.

Alongside my management experience, I have a strong clinical nursing background, having qualified as a nurse before moving to the UK to further develop my career in health and social care. My clinical knowledge continues to support my approach to leadership, enabling me to understand the individual needs of residents and promote safe, effective, and compassionate care.

I have completed the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, which has strengthened my skills in leading teams, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement.

As Registered Manager, I believe in building strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues. I am committed to creating a warm, welcoming, and supportive home where residents can enjoy the best possible quality of life and where staff feel valued and empowered to deliver outstanding care.
