Appleton Manor Care Home

My husband and I have been married 64 years and it was so hard to accept he needed permanent professional care. He has resided at Appleton just over 12 months and I cannot praise the management and staff enough for the loving care he has received there. I have peace of mind knowing he is safe, well looked after and is content in what I am sure, he now realises is his home. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home to anyone.

My father arrived at the home beginning of the year 2016. The staff could not have done more to make my dad comfortable and cared for. They also show kindness, compassion and professionalism towards my mum and all our family members. It is a difficult time for all and I couldn't be more grateful to Appleton Manor, management and staff. Nothing is too much trouble or time.

My husband has been in Appleton Manor Care Home for 12 months. The care they have given him is excellent. The staff are wonderful and he could not be in a better place.

My husband has spent months in this care home. He has settled well because of the excellent care he receives from the staff. He is treated with dignity, respect and when appropriate humour. Every attempt has been made to engage my husband in meaningful but fun activities. His constant wandering day and night is coped with using patience and kindness. This care home has been a real help to myself and our daughters. We can visit anytime, the staff are available to talk to us and very often comfort us as we found my husbands going into a home very difficult. The manager and her staff eased the process.

My mother has been a resident at Appleton Manor for 6 years as she has Alzheimer's. There have been problems for the last 4 years (first 2 fine) mainly due to not having a permanent manager for 2 years. The home has improved tremendously in all aspects i.e staff and morale, efficiency, organisation, activities and generally. This is due to the current managers influence and strong leadership. Thank you. I feel much more confident and secure regarding my mother's care.

I would especially like to mention the unit manager and senior carer for their wonderful assistance but also add that all of mums carers have been fantastic as has the manager at the home.

We have been more than happy with the excellent care given to our mother during her short stay Appleton Manor. The staff could not have been more professional and kind. I would have no hesitation in recommending Appleton Manor Care Home.

Mum has been here for one week, I have visited every day. All the staff are so kind, they greet me with a smile, they can't do enough for me and mum. They treat all the residents with the utmost respect, and patience.

My husband went into Appleton Manor on the 10th Dec 2015. The staff made me feel so welcome and right away I knew he would be well looked after and he has been.
