We cannot thank them enough.

My mother had to be moved for nursing care as her Alzheimer's has deteriorated. The staff here welcomed her with open arms and smiling faces. My mum was looked after beautifully and the staff made sure she wanted nothing. Her Alzheimer's dementia had deteriorated to a level where her behaviour had become very challenging. At all times the staff recognised this behaviour was the disease and not my mother. The staff approached all residents with a gentle voice and understanding of the fear that mum was experiencing. Mum passed away in Arbour Court and was so unwell in the last 2 1/2 weeks that she was permanently nursed in bed. Every time we visited she looked comfortable, clean and tidy, her position was changed regularly so she did not develop any pressure sores. By this time, mum was not eating or drinking anything, but her mouth was kept clean and moist. The dementia care and nursing care are exemplary and we highly recommend this care home.

Mum is being looked after in Arbour Court since February 2026. We are very very pleased with the care home and with the staff on the ground floor especially. Under challenging circumstances, they somehow manage to stay professional, but with smiles on their faces. They aim to be polite, professional & encourage residents to participate in singalongs and activities. The family are very pleased especially with Ludi & Rowenna.

All the team are friendly, supportive and nothing was ever too much to ask for. I can never thank everyone enough for all they did for my dad whilst he lived there. My dad unfortunately passed away 7th April in the early hours with us at his side.

We were so impressed with the level of care provided by everyone in the team. Choosing appropriate care for an elderly parent is a daunting experience and we have learnt that sometimes you need to look beyond the quality care commission ratings because quite frankly the passion and love that the team provided for our Mum was over and above. We highly recommend Arbour Court for nursing care for an elderly parent.

Unfortunately my dad ending up going in very poorly from home , not what we had planned but all I can say it was such the right decision for us and for dad , the care was absolutely amazing for him for me x my family right through to the end , without any hesitation I would 100 percent recommend Arbour court , thank you so much for everything you have done for us x

Staff very professional at both care and management level. Accommodation modern, clean and well looked after. Food very good with excellent variation. Generally thoughtful and caring staff who have helped mum settle into her new environment here at Arbour Court. Our family are so pleased with our choice of Arbour Court to look after Mum.

Arbour Court is a warm and welcoming place. Mum has sadly passed away now, but I can't thank Lisa and the rest of the team enough for the outstanding work they do.

My mum unexpectedly had to go into a care home and was transferred to one under a D2A. With no experience of care homes, I thought it was "normal" but was devastated every time I visited and left her there. I decided to look elsewhere and came across Arbour Court. From my first visit, I was blown away. Every single staff member is fantastic, and it is more like a hotel than a care home. I visited mum multiple times daily, and loved just being there, and she was really flourishing in the environment too. The activities are amazing and the staff are so attentive and thoughtful, I could not have asked for more. Unfortunately my mum passed away soon after moving to Arbour Court following a short illness (which the nurses picked up on immediately), and I am deeply regretful that my mum did not get to stay longer here. If you are looking for a nursing home for your loved one, I couldn't recommend Arbour Court enough - I would have moved in myself!

Mum has been there for 3 weeks now & a special effort had been made to accomodate her in a room with a garden view with very calming decoration in the room. Moving her in was seamless. The care she has received has been excellent & she is settling in well & showing and interest in the many activities they have.

The entire staff at Arbour Court are, without exception, brilliant, caring, professional, always cheerful and above all compassionate. They treat my husband with respect at all times and ensure he still has his dignity. The general manager and finance manager have been nothing but helpful. Although the fees are high, the home is good value for money because it gives the family peace of mind that our loved one is receiving the best of care. I cannot fault the home in any way. I would thoroughly recommend Arbour Court to anyone looking for a care home for a loved one.

When my wife needed end-of-life treatment, my daughter and I visited Arbour Court. We were so impressed! The building was bright and clean and the staff warm and friendly. When my wife moved in, her room was nicely decorated, with good lighting and little touches, like photo frames provided. During all my visits over 5 weeks, I never saw residents treated with anything other than compassion and respect. My wife's team of carers were so caring and good-humoured, forming a lovely, even affectionate relationship with her and the family. A wonderful team of medical staff monitored her condition regularly and she received effective medication to control pain and distress. Her family and friends were also very well looked after; we could not have asked for better.

Caring for my mum was an isolating experience - she looks well - she looks young - in shops & cafes, people had no time or patience for her & that experience isolated us both. Since Mum moved to Arbour Court, I no longer feel alone. I have 20/30 other people around me who understand and care! I became isolated from friends & family, & now I feel we've all become part of an extended family. The caring environment has benefited us all. Allowing residents to live with their dementia - live in their world is commendable - thanks.

Staff on every occasion have been friendly, helpful and supportive, that includes all staff, those on reception, cleaners, nursing staff.

I just want to thank all the staff at Barchester Arbour Court Care Home. My husband has been there a long time now. When I go to visit him, the staff are all lovely, pleasant and I really feel they care for me as much as my husband. The home is beautiful and my husband is spotlessly clean even though he's bedridden. Very high regards to this place.

The care provided by all the team here is exceptional. People are provided with individualised care and with such care and compassion. A brilliant environment for people to live their best lives surrounded by people who genuinely care.

Would definitely recommend Barchester Arbour Court Care Home, one of the nicest homes I have visited.

I have visited many care homes but this has to be rated one of the best. The care given to my two dear friends is beyond anything I had hoped for.
