Although he only spent a short time there until he passed, we as a family, found all staff we met to be caring, thoughtful and willing to go the extra mile. My dad was treated with dignity throughout and nothing was too much trouble. As we live close, we were popping in and out sometimes many times a day. I would definitely recommend and can't thank than enough for the care they gave him.
The night catheter bag was not changed. My husband "trapped in bed", not helped to drink - he can't drink from a full cup with his chin dropped into his chest restricting his windpipe - who did this? I had to spoon-feed him down half the cup until I could then rest the cup against his lips for him to finish the drink. My husband's care in this temporary home is appalling.

My review of Carrington Court Care Home is of having very high standards. My mum is being very well cared for. She seems very comfortable and the staff are very warm and friendly when I am visiting and there always seems to be cleaning going on. Refreshments are served regularly and the meals look very nice. Only time I've seen is a public bathroom where there were pajamas on the floor and a soiled sanitary pad placed on top of a bin, all else satisfactory.

My elderly mother has been a resident at Carrington Court Care Home since April 2023 and the care she has received has been nothing short of fantastic. All the staff are wonderful and pleasant and it shines through like a beacon. They are also kind, courteous and considerate to us as well whilst we're visiting. You should be very proud of the tea - they fully deserve your praise and thanks. On behalf of my Mum - Thank you!
Wonderful staff who I can't fault in any way for the care they are giving my mother in her last few weeks of life. They are so well informed and have time to care for my mum's needs, this is a totally different and more positive experience to what I have seen with care in the community when my mother was at home. Highly recommend.
My brother has only recently moved here. I can't thank them enough for making him so welcome. All the staff are so caring and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Didn't think I could find another home as good has his last one but this tops it.
As a family, we are very pleased with the care, comfort and personal attention our relative receives. Whenever we ring to see how she is staff can always speak to us with an updated report on her condition. Our relative too is very positive and praises the care she receives. If there are any changes in her condition we are notified either personally when we visit or by phone if urgent.
My mum has been at Carrington Court Care Home since October 2022. I cannot fault her care. She is treated with friendliness and dignity by all of the staff who create a lovely and lively atmosphere within the home. The staff are so friendly and chat to relatives as if they are friends. The home is lovely and clean and warm and I know that my mum really enjoys her food provided. Thanks for all you do in what is a difficult time for our family.
My dad is a resident here, the staff are caring, compassionate, engaging and overall dedicated to providing the best care and treatment to their residents. I understand the entertainment they provide has halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but here they try their best to provide activities and regular games, with the odd karaoke from the team.
I would just like to say that my experience in this home is brilliant and I have been well looked after by all staff members and all the food is excellent, will miss all staff when I am able to go home.
First-class care home. Excellent staff, very friendly, very nice management. Ten out of Ten.
My son-in-law has only been here a few weeks and has been treated with dignity, he has had more care in these few weeks than all the two years he had in his last home, the staff make relatives, as well as residents, feel looked after, there is nothing too much trouble for the staff, I am so happy that we can now feel that he is in a safe, caring environment, keep up the good work Carrington Court Care Home, a big up from all the family, thank you so much.
My husband has recently moved into Carrington Court Care Home from a neuro rehab unit and I cannot tell you the difference it has made to him and our family, he is so much more relaxed showing no signs of agitation as he did before and the staff are amazing, keeping us informed with everything that is happening regarding his treatment and rehabilitation, they have sorted out more for him in three weeks than he's had in eighteen months at the previous place. I originally did not want to put my husband in a nursing home and resisted for a while but I only wish I had known about Carrington Court sooner, it makes such a difference to all of us to know he is being well looked after, the staff have all been amazing and nothing is too much trouble for any of them, I am so grateful to them all for the care, respect and dignity they give him. I would recommend Carrington Court to anyone looking for a care home for a loved one.
He didn’t want to go into a care home because of a terrible experience having respite care elsewhere. I cannot speak highly enough of the care my dad received in his final weeks. I was kept so well informed of what was going on and the girls gave as good as they got with him and (with one or two awkward exceptions) could not do enough for him or be kinder to us as a family. I am so grateful, especially to those he considered his favourites - you know who you are - it is a comfort to know he was treated with respect until the very end. Thank you so much, this could have been so much harder without you.
Carrington Court Care Home have been amazing in caring for my mum. They have treated her with dignity in her last few weeks of life. They kept her clean and have been fantastic with her. They have offered support to me and my family during this difficult time. I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding care they have provided to my mum and us as a family. They have allowed my mum to die peacefully and with dignity. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.
My mum was admitted to Carrington Court on end-of-life care. I must admit that I was hesitant at placing her in care, but I need not have worried. My mum and I were greeted by a member of staff who was so welcoming and friendly all my worries just disappeared. From the very start communication with the staff has been excellent, they are organised with information concerning mum that is relayed to me in a very professional manner, I am kept informed of any changes needed and I feel able to ask if I have any questions. All the staff at the home that I have encountered have given my mum the care that she needs and treat her with the utmost dignity and are genuinely compassionate and caring when dealing with her. It is lovely to watch how she responds to them with a smile on her face and is able to laugh and joke with them. For me, this shows that mum is feeling safe a secure within her surroundings. They are also aware of my feelings, and when I am struggling will offer me support.
My grandma is currently staying in Carrington Court, and due to her very poor health, she is permitted compassionate visits. I’ve witnessed first hand the exceptional care provided by all staff members, without exception. It’s lovely to see my grandma’s warm reaction to each member of staff; it’s clear she feels safe and well looked after here. Thank you so much to the staff for your hard work and dedication to my grandma and the other residents.
I can’t thank all of the wonderful staff at Carrington enough for the amazing care that they have given to my grandma. Each and every member of staff ensured my grandma was looked after to a very high standard, nothing was ever to much trouble. My grandma was so happy and comfortable considering she had been so used to being at home surrounded by her own loving family. The staff at Carrington court treated her as though she was their family which meant the world to us especially with the government restrictions. We had daily contact and regular zoom calls in which we could see our grandma's beautiful happy smile, from her favourite meals to always having her nails painted and her hair styled it was lovely to see. No matter how poorly grandma was her dignity always remained. We will be forever thankful for the support you have shown us all. Thank you all so much for your kindness, love and care.
The constant care and the attention given to all of the residents by each and every member staff goes far beyond the call of duty, nothing is to much trouble for the very friendly team and they do become part of your family.
Since the coronavirus has been with us all, the home has been kept everyone safe with the high level of procedures put in place, no one has had the virus.
When we have not been able to visit I have always been kept up to date with how my dad is doing, 3 weeks ago he took a turn for the worst and we were allowed compassionate visits and to our amazement, he is at present doing great, feeding his self, out of bed in his wheelchair and it is not only due to my dad's determination, it's the constant care and dedication of all the staff.
Well done to each and every one of you, Thank you so much.
My husband was very happy on his week respite. He loved the staff and they appeared very happy with him. He actually amazed me when he came home, he was a different man, more alert, more mobile, more chatty and was better all round. He is quite happy to come and stay again.
