Dad was welcomed and helped to settle into his new environment.
He was a reluctant resident at first and not the easiest to look after, but the staff have won his trust and deal really well with his condition.

Could not recommend the home enough from kitchen, cleaners, handyman, carers and nurses all excellent and I trust them to look after him.

My mum has been in a few residential homes before going to Carrington Court. I would recommend it due to the level of care and compassion she has received and continues to receive on a daily basis. The staff are friendly, always willing to help and mum has settled in so well.

The activities are especially beneficial to mum and she really enjoys participating.

My mother had a brief stay in this nursing home. The staff were very obliging and tried to make my mum as comfortable as possible. If, in future years, I am in need of a nursing home, I would be quite happy to stay here.

The staff here are always extremely welcoming and helpful and know exactly where my auntie is when we visit. The carer who runs the activities always has brilliant things going on and includes all the service users at a level that suits their physical and mental capacity. Any activity on the board is ALWAYS happening! Nursing and admin staff have very quickly provided my sister and I with any information we have needed be it medical appointments etc or letters we have needed re power of attorney. My auntie is very happy here, thriving and well cared for. Plus her brother who visits most days is included in any outings and given his meals with her when he visits. An excellent nursing home!

Dad had been in Carrington Court for almost three years when he died in December. During that time, dad's care was excellent. The staff are dedicated and work tirelessly for the residents. They loved and cared for my dad as though he was their own family and they became part of our family too as we visited and cared for dad. We can never thank them enough for what they did for dad and for us.

My aunt moved into Carrington Court in September 2016. I am extremely happy with the care she gets. The staff are always pleasant and helpful and I am impressed by the fact that as soon as I walk through the door they know who I have come to visit and can tell me exactly where she is. Nothing is too much trouble. My aunt is much happier now and is more mobile and thoroughly enjoys the activities that are provided.

Up to July this year we couldn't fault it but since the manager left the atmosphere has changed a few staff have been very lax. One trained senior nurse is at times very unapproachable and has an attitude about her when patients or family ask for tablets she says "I'll go now" but can still be waiting.

My Dad lived at Carrington Court Care Home for 3 and a half years. He was loved and cherished by all staff at the home. He passed away in his room on the 4/1/17. The staff were wonderful and we as a family could not have asked for more. Your company are very lucky to have such dedicated, professional staff working for you at this home. Our family would like you to pass on our thanks for making Dad's stay at the home and enjoyable one.

Mr brother is receiving excellent care and I can't ask for more than that.

He seems to be more tired now and staff seem to allow him to rest more in his bed, which he has always wanted.

I came here for respite while my wife was ill, she sadly passed away and the staff have been sympathetic and caring. I have enjoyed Christmas here and I have managed to go out for a meal with staff also went home for Christmas with my family. I never thought I could be happy and enjoy myself again but everyone at Carrington has made this possible.
