My Dad lived at Carrington Court Care Home for 3 and a half years. He was loved and cherished by all staff at the home. He passed away in his room on the 4/1/17. The staff were wonderful and we as a family could not have asked for more. Your company are very lucky to have such dedicated, professional
staff working for you at this home. Our family would like you to pass on our thanks for making Dad's stay at the home and enjoyable one.

Mr brother is receiving excellent care and I can't ask for more than that.
He seems to be more tired now and staff seem to allow him to rest more in his bed, which he has always wanted.

Staff are always cheerful and helpful. Mum's room is always clean and tidy and mum seems happy to be here. Mum has difficulty with her sight and is unable to write clearly.

I like living here, my room is very nice. I go out for a walk everyday with my family, enjoying having my hair done each week. Staff make me smile and we have good fun.

I came here for respite while my wife was ill, she sadly passed away and the staff have been sympathetic and caring. I have enjoyed Christmas here and I have managed to go out for a meal with staff also went home for Christmas with my family. I never thought I could be happy and enjoy myself again but
everyone at Carrington has made this possible.

Introducing Rebecca Asprey
Home Manager at Carrington Court, Wigan


“I believe that kind care is about recognising the small details
that are important to someone and building a relationship that
enables you to support them through difficult times.”


As a Registered Nurse, Rebecca has
gained over 15 years’ experience in
providing care and support for older
people to enrich their lives. She is a
knowledgeable and committed leader
who is passionate about delivering the
highest possible standards in care and
quality of life for Residents.


Rebecca joined Carrington Court as
Home Manager as she closely shares
HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the
kindest care for each and every Resident.
She uses her experience to motivate her
team to deliver care and support in a way
that Residents gain the most benefit, in a
warm and welcoming home.


She also works hard to arrange events
and activities with nearby organisations
and is always quick to welcome the local
community to Carrington Court.
When asked what she enjoys most about
her role, Rebecca remarked:


“I really enjoy the staff development side
of my role - seeing potential in someone,
recognising their skills and increasing
their confidence so they can fulfil their
potential.”
