Even though it has only been a couple of weeks since my father-in-law joined the family at Ashton View Care Home we have seen him return to his social life that we haven't seen since Covid. He appears happy and involved with activities and seems happy with the fact that he is in a secure and safe environment and that staff listen and act on any worries that he may have.

From the moment my dad entered the home he was treated with dignity, respect, understanding and more importantly to me with great care. I honestly cannot complain about any member of staff, they all treat each individual resident with great care and understanding. My dad has settled in very well and I believe this is due to the ethos of the staff and management of Ashton View Care Home.

Before my sister came into Ashton View I had no experience of care homes other than what people had told me.
I have nothing but praise for the staff and the care they have shown my sister since she has been here.
She is well looked after, well fed and has a better social life than I have.
If she were at home she would be on her own with no regular visitors. I do not live locally so cannot visit as often as I would like but I know I don't need to worry as I know she is being very well cared for and looked after.
I attended a relatives meeting for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised at all that is happening at Ashton View in the run-up to Christmas. I know my sister is in for a lovely time, the best since the loss of her husband two years ago.
Thank you to everyone for all you do for the residents and their families.

My sister was 80 recently and the staff really made a fuss of her and made sure she had a lovey day, thank you.

My Mum has been a resident now for over 2 years and she is very well looked after on Pilling by all the staff and in the home overall - it is a challenging job and the staff always make sure that they are treated with respect and have patience on a daily basis and in difficult situations. My sister and I are very happy with the care our Mum receives, we can now spend quality time with her knowing she is safe and cared for as opposed to stressing and struggling to offer her 24-hour care ourselves - She loves all the entertainment and trips out (even if she doesn't always remember - at the time she seems very happy) so a huge thanks to the team for arranging these thank you to everyone at Ashton View for your care, support, dedication, and commitment.

I am delighted that my wife is a resident of Ashton View Care Home. The staff are unfailingly patient, pleasant, and very resilient-focused. I know my wife is happy because she tells me so. In addition, I feel like a member of the Ashton Views family which is personally gratifying.

After a very hard six months of Mum being quite poorly, I feel she has finally settled in, and all staff are so patient and kind with Mum. I also would say that if you have any problems, the manager and deputy manager are very approachable and extremely helpful. The seniors inform us of any problems relating to Mum. I have visited when singers, etc, are there, and everyone seems to enjoy it. I feel like Mum is safe and cared for. Thank you.

Very helpful and friendly staff, always ready to answer questions. The staff obviously care about the residents. Lots of activities and things going on. The manager and deputy manager have been so supportive of any concerns we've had, taking the street out of the situation - keeping in touch and sorting things out for us.

My husband has been in Ashton View for just over two years due to his dementia, I have to say he is well looked after he is happy there, nothing is too much trouble for the staff if I need any help or am concerned about anything, the staff are always on hand to help me, I am always kept informed by the unit manager regarding any changes in my husbands care, she is always ready to help with any problems she is well-liked by the residents and relatives.

I am looking forward to the changes that Dovehaven have said they want to do regarding air conditioning and refurbishment.

I was really worried about my husband going into a care home its a big step. He has settled in Ashton View after a few blips with him. The staff are really good with him and I don't worry so much now I know he is safe and being looked after well. I am glad we chose Ashton View. He has dementia.

My dad sadly passed away whilst staying at Ashton View. The staff showed compassion and respect which as a family we will always be grateful for. During Dad's staff the team went above and beyond especially two members of staff in particular they are angels. Please don't be put off by the building the staff are truly amazing and will look after your relative like one of their own.

Thank you Ashton View.

Staff are very polite/professional and are always on hand to help. We (the whole family) have been made to feel very welcome at Ashton View although we were very sceptical due to previous poor Care home experiences, Ashton Care home is a breath of fresh air and I put this down to the Management and staff.. With the medical condition of my dad and the time needed for his care, the team are fantastic. We appreciate the time/effort and care the Ashton View Team put in.
