Really good staff, very good management. Staff know what they are doing. Very supportive manager. Staff are friendly. Home is always clean. No bad smell. I am happy with everything.
Thank you for taking the time to review Alt Park so highly. We appreciate your feedback. Have a lovely day, thank you.
The nursing staff are managing his pain from an old injury, which is helping his mobility. Sometimes he isn't keen on the food served to him, but he is provided with an alternative when this happens. Even though he is reluctant staff manage to persuade him to have a shave, which is brilliant and much appreciated. His clothing is washed and returned quickly so he is never short of something to wear.
Thank you for taking the time to review Alt Park so highly. We appreciate your feedback and will be sure to let the team know. Have a great day. Thank you.
My father-in-law has been a resident at Alt Park for 18 months. During this time there have been several managers, there appeared to be little leadership and the home faced many challenges, which were noticeable as a visitor. There is another manager in situ now and it is clear to see how well the home is running. There are many new staff, with just the occasional agency. As a family member I am keen to see the home progress further and I am sure with the new manager Alt Park will flourish.
Thank you for taking the time to review Alt Park so highly. We appreciate your feedback. Have a great day.
My husband came from another care home where he was unhappy, but since arriving at Alt Park, he is a different person. He has banter with the staff, playing games, etc.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review for Alt Park. It is wonderful to hear how happy your husband is, enjoying the entertainment and having banter with the staff. I will share your kind comments with all the team.
My Father was only at Alt Park Nursing Home for 1 week and sustained a broken left wrist lacerations and bruising on his left arm which the home cannot explain despite my Dad having 1 to 1 care. My Dad went to Aintree Hospital and there is an open Local Authority Safeguarding enquiry about this. There is also a Police investigation.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. We welcome all reviews as they help us to develop and improve our services. Sadly, when people are living with advanced dementia their behaviour is often unpredictable and they can be at risk of harm to themselves and to others, particularly when...
My wife has been in Alt Park now for three years, her arm was broken in the last home she resided in and she spent 5 weeks in hospital and came from the hospital to Alt Park. I felt the love and the empathy the moment I stepped into the home and knew in an instant that this was the home for my wife. It was a different set up to the other care homes she had been in, residents were sitting together eating their meals and it felt to me like they were all family, and I instantly thought that this can now be part of her family and everything came to fruition. I have never looked back and have noticed the calm in my wife it has made me feel at ease. The staff are nice and polite and the management run a clean and tidy ship. I would highly recommend Alt Park to my family and friends, they have worked extremely hard over the last 2 years with COVID and kept all our loved ones safe. Well done Alt Park and a big thank you.

Clinical judgment and response is sound and every effort has been made to assist my brother in often difficult and sometimes unusual circumstances. At Alt Park the little touches are always there which mean so much to my brother. Thank you Alt Park.
Hi there, thank you for taking the time and sharing your brother's experience at our home. We are thrilled to hear you are happy with our team's care and support for your bother. It is our pleasure to care! Kindly, Alt Park Team.
Absolutely amazing. This has been my Nan’s home for 5/6 years, and they have treated her like family. I am comforted knowing that she has been looked after by the most selfless members of staff who go above and beyond to make the last few years of her life happy and comfortable. The decor inside has been created to bring a ‘home from home’ to its residents, with bright colours and huge artwork to symbolise the city of Liverpool. Without a doubt, the best care home you could wish for for your loved one.
Thank you so much for this thoughtful review. We really appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience with us. We are pleased that the efforts put in by the team here at Alt Park were to your standards.
Alt Park staff went above and beyond making my mother-in-law extremely comfortable in her last 12 months. They took over care after she was moved from another care home, on arrival they discovered bedsores that hadn't been treated and got them seen to straight away. My mother-in-law had been in extreme pain and the old home hadn't noticed, Alt Park realised straight away and helped. Obviously, with lockdown, we hadn't been in to seen her but Alt Park was brilliant and arranged for visits safely when possible. On her birthday they went out the way to spoil her for us and again arranged a short safe visit. Sadly my mother-in-law passed away at the beginning of this month but we wanted to thank all staff for the care and compassion throughout the 12 months she was with you, it's just a shame we didn't get to meet you properly. Thank you again.
Thank you for taking the time to share this experience with us. We truly care for the well-being of each of our residents, that is why we always make sure they are healthy, happy, and loved. It was truly a blessing having such a kind and beautiful soul as your mother-in-law.
My mum has been a resident at the home for a few years and has always received excellent care from the amazing team of nursing staff and carers. I am so glad we chose Alt Park for her! Keep up the good work everyone, I know you will.

Thank you for all your hard work during these past few months.

We are so glad that you are pleased with all the efforts put in by the team here at Alt Park. We hope to continue to provide a positive experience for all our residents and their families at our home.
The manager and her wonderful team do a sterling job of caring for my mum. The care and love that each member of the team shows to mum and to our family helps me to come to terms with not being able to visit due to lockdown. I know mum is in a safe, loving, caring environment and I can't thank the manager and her staff enough.
Thank you for your positive review, Carol. We really appreciate you taking the time out to leave a review about our home. We hope to continue to reach your expectations of the service we provide.
Under the direction of the Manager, this care home has a fantastic and committed team, who place the welfare of the residents at the centre of everything they do. The interaction of the staff with the residents is very friendly, and I am a firm believer that they treat residents like family, creating an atmosphere of positivity and a can-do attitude. My Mum has been resident at Alt Park for the last 4 years, and I have the greatest respect for the staff and the way they have looked after Mum, who due to living with Dementia, has presented many challenges from a welfare/Nursing context! I have no hesitation in recommending this care home, based on my observations. Once again from the bottom of my heart, thank you for looking after my Mum.
Thank you so much for your pleasant review, Kevin. We really appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience with us. We are so glad that you are delighted with the care provided by the team here at Alt Park. We will continue to do our best to provide a pleasant experience for all our residents and their families at our home.
Again, thanks for the great care you gave her. If she could speak she would say more.
Take care, from all the family.
Thus care home is superb, all at Alt Park cared for my wonderful auntie with care, dignity, respect and fun, nothing was too much trouble. The manager and her brilliant team also looked after us all as a family too and communicated with us at every stage of my auntie's care and we all felt that she was in the best hands possible. All the staff, I am so grateful, you are nothing short of angel's.
The staff are excellent, they are very caring towards her.
The home manager is very easily approachable at all times.
The home is clean and the rooms are a nice size with new furniture.
We have seen a lot of improvements with the decor and investments going into technology and activities.
Thank you, Alt Park!
My family would like to say a big thank you to all the amazing staff who give our dad so much care, nothing is too much trouble for them, they work so hard with all the residents showing care and dedication which gives our family peace of mind when we are not there, what a great team. Once again a big thank you to each and every one of you.
Alt Park provided an excellent standard of care to my mum who spent her remaining days there. She was treated with respect, dignity and compassion, all her care and support needs were met. The staff were gentle and caring to both Mum and my family. I couldn't have asked for a better place for Mum to be in her last days under the management. We believe we have been given the best support and understanding we could have for our mum in her last days.
The staff are very attentive and treat our special loved ones as if they were their own.
Alt Park is very well lead by the manager and supported by her senior staff, resulting in a well run, happy and safe environment! Her door is always open for any worries we may have, very approachable and very compassionate about the job.
It’s a hard decision making sure that you pick the right home, one which we found exceptionally distressing. However finding Alt Park was a blessing for us, ensuring our amazing mum is as much loved by the staff as she is by us.
From a personal view, it was a heartbreaking decision to make as a family to put mum into residential care after years of trying to cope at home. After 2 bad experiences in other homes, Alt Park was recommended to us and we haven’t looked back, mum is now happily settled.
