Both parents were welcomed into Brooklands in October 2022 after being diagnosed with dementia. They settled in really well with the support of a dedicated and caring team of wonderful individuals. Mum unfortunately passed away earlier this year but Dad is thriving, taking an active part in a range of brain-stimulating activities. As a family, we can relax knowing he is safe and extremely well cared for. Couldn’t recommend Brooklands more.

Brooklands Care Home has lovely staff. Look after my mum very well. Maybe a few more activities to stimulate them would be good and when warmer weather comes, take them out so their lives can be as normal as possible.

Very happy with the Care at Brooklands, happy place for my brother to live. Staff do a very good job. Activities on offer are very good, the gardens are well maintained staff kept us up to date during Covid.

I am satisfied with Mum's care. Her health care needs are met and she eats well. The staff are very obliging, very patient and helpful. The managers/ team leaders are helpful and understanding. A more permanent hairdressing service would be good, I know there.

Your comments about the team are very much appreciated as everyone on the home works very hard to ensure that residents are happy, settled and safe. I can only apologise that our hairdresser has not always been in attendance in the home but when the home was unfortunately closed to visitors, due to covid outbreaks, the rules are that the hairdresser is also not able to come in to us. However, I can report that hairdresser was in the home today and everyone looked beautiful! Kind regards

I cannot praise the staff in this home enough. The attention and care given to my very elderly relatives were above and beyond all expectations. They also took care of the family during a very sad and traumatic time for us.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at Brooklands for their help with my father. The manager and deputy manager visited my father at very short notice and were very professional in the way they both dealt with my father. I decided to start my father off as respite but...

Dad is relatively new to this care home, it will be nearly a month now since he moved in. It was one of the most difficult decisions we have made as a family actually putting Dad into a home, we vigorously researched what we considered to be the most suitable one that ticked all the boxes for Dad's needs. I struggle to put into words how pleased and reassured we are that we have found the right home for Dad, the staff and management are an absolute credit to the care home community. They are genuinely lovely people, so caring, attentive and thoughtful and go out of their way to ensure they do everything possible to make all their residents' stay a very happy, safe and extremely comfortable one. Not only have we witnessed, as a family, the good work that consistently goes on in this care home, we can see it in Dad who looks so very well, better than we have seen him look for quite some time. Dad's disposition, overall attitude and wellbeing is more than we could have hoped for.
