Even after my sister's passing, the manager still continued to help our family through a difficult and emotional time. Patience, care, understanding on another level was offered by all the staff. We will miss all our visits and chats. Thank you Church View for everything you did to make my sister happy and contented.
Thank you for your kind words and for sharing your sister's journey with us. It was a privilege to care for her and be part of your families life. Your appreciation means so much to the team at Church View.

A fantastic team of staff from the manager, carers, handyman, cleaners, laundry staff, we can't thank you enough for all that you do, to keep our loved one healthy, happy and safe.
Certainly recommend.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It means so much to our team to know that the care and compassion we aim to provide every day has made a difference to your family.
All the staff are so friendly and welcoming, it is very homely and always smells lovely and fresh.
They have so many activities going on, your loved one is never bored.
In the last 6 weeks since my father law moved into the home, he has gained weight, loves the food and choice available, he's always clean and tidy, he has received exceptional nursing care that has met his care needs and he is very settled and content. On a routine visit for an outpatients hospital appointment, the staff were amazed at how well he looked and asked which care home he was in.
A huge thank you to the manager and all the team, you can see how much you care and respect all your residents and their families.
We'd like to thank every member of staff for all their dedication and hard work, Church View is a credit to each and everyone of you.
We feel so lucky to know that our loved one is receiving the best care and that he is happy and safe.
Highly recommend.
Thank you for your kind words. We're glad your Father in Law is well cared for and our Church View team have made a positive difference.
She is happy to join in the activities and has a lovely relationship with the staff.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We are truly delighted to hear that your mum has settled in well and is happy. It's wonderful to know that our team has been able to make a positive difference to your mum.
This home is like no other home. Everyone is like one big family. The staff are amazing, the manger is fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. They go that extra mile, food is good. Friend's mum looks like different person after only 3 months, the change in her is all down to amazing staff.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We are truly delighted to hear that your friends mum has settled in well and is happy. It's wonderful to know that our team has been able to make a positive difference.
The home is one of the best we have visited and are very happy about the care that our member of the family is receiving. The staff are very kind and caring to the people they are in charge of. The home is very clean all the time, there is entertainment at various times to keep things on the up. The food is of a very good standard.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review. The manager does spend time along with her team ensuring that all needs are met and the residents do have as good a quality of life as possible. I am pleased for them that this is recognised.
This home is like no other home. Everyone is like one big family. I couldn't have booked a better home for my dad. The maintenance man doesn't stop, all the residents call him by a different name every day. Manager's door is always open if you need her for anything! The whole team cannot do enough to help.
Thank you for your kind feedback. It means so much to us that your dad is happy at Church View and receiving a high level of care. We are pleased to hear that the staff and manager are like one big family and are always there to help. Ensuring our residents are welcomed into a safe, friendly environment is so important to us.
I feel confident that my husband is well cared for in this safe, comfortable environment.
Thank you for your kind words! We're so pleased to hear that you feel confident in the care and comfort your husband receives with us. Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents is our top priority.
My husband moved into Church View Nursing Home on 1st of August 2024. I can honestly say he has had the best of care in there, every member of staff from the senior nursing to the cleaners have been so caring to my husband who has a brain injury and is immobile. I thank the home manager for running a really friendly and caring home. My husband had been in a previous home that resulted in him being hospitalised after only 9 days with pneumonia and pressure sores, I am so thankful he has now been placed in Church View. I would definitely give five stars.
Thank you for your kind words, it is heart-warming and very much appreciated.
It's never easy picking the right nursing home for your loved ones especially when there are so many horror stories out there. So when the time came to choose one for my Grandad it was important we found the best one and did a lot of research into each home that was suggested. We finally agreed on church view and we couldn't have picked a better home for him to spend his final few months. I just want to thank all the fab staff that work there it was nice seeing my Grandad happy in the home and it helped him come out of his shell. They all made us feel welcome and part of the family from the minute he arrived and it eased our nerves about him having to go into a home. The care and compassion my Grandad and the family received right up to the end from all the staff was amazing and we couldn't wish for a better place for him to spend them final months.
Thank you for your kind words, it is heart-warming and very much appreciated.
Dad has been here for a couple of months now and can honestly say the staff have been great. They are hands-on and nothing seems trouble for them, they kept us informed when Dad's medication was changed by the doctor, and the place is spotless clean and has recently been refurbished. There is entertainment and even some aspects of gardening and residents can enjoy the summer sun outside. The food is prepared and cooked well with a varied menu.
Thank you for your kind words, it is heart-warming and very much appreciated.
Palliative care team/hospital discharge nurse contacted me to let me know that Churchview where happy to accept her.
Following a visit, I decided that it met Mum's requirements and the staff were very receptive to any questions I had.
Unfortunately, within 2 days of settling in, Mum passed away.
My review is based on the professionalism and duty of care that the staff (and manageress) gave to Mum whilst waiting for her to be taken to funeral directors.
Staff could not have done any more to ensure she was prepared (cleaned and dressed) for funeral directors.
I am forever in debt to Churchview; knowing they did their best for her.
My husband moved into Church View two weeks ago straight from a stay in hospital. The staff are very kind and caring and are still getting to know him but I feel confident that he is getting the care he needs. They have also been so supportive to me, helping me get through a very emotional and trying experience.
Thank you for taking the time and trouble to write a review for Church View, it is appreciated. Your kind words will be passed on to the team. Kind regards
Love it. The manager and staff are brilliant. 5 stars for church view.
My great-aunt moved to Church View in December 2023. The care from staff has been fantastic. They’re compassionate, respectful and hold her in high regard. They’ve got to know my auntie and nothing is too much trouble for them. The home is clean and fresh and has a great atmosphere. The manager, another particular member of staff and all the team work hard to make Church View a great care home to look after loved ones. I’d highly recommend Church View if you’re looking for a care home. Thanks to everyone who works at Church View for everything you do to look after our auntie.
Your thanks are very much appreciated by a team who work so hard to ensure that residents are happy, safe and well. The comments you make will give 'peace of mind' to others who are searching for care for their loved ones. Kind regards
After several hard and intense months, we moved my mother-in-law into Church View Nursing & Residential Home. In the short amount of time, I've seen her become herself again. Her health is finally being taken care of; her well-being and personality are shining again... something I thought we might lose after her long stay in the hospital. From day one, staff have looked after her with dignity and respect; when we visit we can see them being kind and compassionate to all residents. The care and support from all is exceptional. The communication and updates from management have blown us away. My mother-in-law now has a social life, days out and about, gets her hair done regularly and attends social functions provided by the amazing team. She's safe, happy and we, as a family, can't thank the team enough!
Thank you for taking the time and trouble to write this wonderful review of Church view, it is very much appreciated. Kind regards.
My mum moved to Church View Nursing & Residential Home a couple of weeks ago. Prior to this, she had been in hospital for four months and we almost lost her and we were worried about the future as she needed long-term care. Church View has been incredible! The manager is brilliant and all the staff are professional, highly skilled and are just a brilliant team. In the last couple of weeks, Mum has regained so much independence because of the team at Church View. Whenever we visit, we are always welcomed, Mum is always well dressed and drinks/food are always visible. She has sat in a chair and been out and about for a pub lunch for the first time in months. She even started singing at the Easter party! As a family, we can leave her and know that she is safe and well cared for. Her medical and nursing care is excellent. This is all a family can ask for and we know that Mum is in amazing hands! Thank you.
Thank you for your wonderful review. Wow, what a difference two weeks can make when you are receiving great care! Kind regards.
It's a very hard choice you have to make when you have to find a home for your mum or dad but I needn't have worried Church View is amazing my dad has been in there since November 2023 and I go every day and without fail, it's always a warm welcome off the staff they do an amazing job, clean and tidy lovely food and they do activities with the residents like movie afternoons, days out, gardening or seeing to the rabbits they have, singers singing the old classics, raffles etc., it's a big weight off my mind knowing my dad is being looked after more than I ever could.
Thank you very much for your review, we do appreciate your kind words and ratings. It is so good to know that you have such confidence in the Church View team. Kind regards
We are so pleased with Church View, my mum has settled in very well. I was so worried, as were my dad and son, over putting mum in a care home but we couldn't have picked a better one. The care is lovely that my mum gets her needs met every day. Thanks to everyone.
Thank you very much for your 5* review, the manager and her team will be very pleased to know that you are so pleased with your mum's care. Kind regards
It is hard to write after just losing our beloved mum who has been in church view for twelve months. But we wanted to let you know how fantastic, supportive and loving (especially in our hour of need ) all the staff are, from the manager (who leads brilliantly) to all fifty staff who work there. This care home should be given ten stars not five. We as a family cannot thank everybody enough for their love they gave to our mum and we looked upon them as our extended family. The care Mum received throughout her stay has been brilliant, but when it mattered most to us, staff went over and above to make Mum's journey more peaceful. We cannot write names in this review but the staff know who they are and we thank you. It is going to be hard not going into the home every day, but if people are looking for a care home for their loved one we would recommend this home 100%. Once again a big thank you, everyone.
Firstly, can we say how sorry we are to hear about the loss of your mum, our condolences to you and your family. Thank you for your kind words about the team at Church View, your words are touching and they will all be so appreciative of your recommendation and recognition of their care. Kind regards.
