It has been a very challenging time for my wife and I over the last fifteen months but the care she has received at Church View Nursing & Residential Home has been wonderful. She is comfortable and well-groomed. The staff are caring not only to her but also to myself. This has been much appreciated by myself and our family.

I am a resident here, I have lived here for two years. I love the food and there’s plenty of choice and there’s always someone to talk to. The staff are very good to me, they get me what I need and are always kind. The manager is very good, she looks after my money in the safe and buys me shopping.

All staff at Church View Nursing & Residential Home are always approachable and really helpful.
My brother came here a couple of years ago and has no complaints at all - all his needs are met.

Doesn’t matter when you visit, the home is spotless and I think the residents here are well cared for because all the staff care.

It’s not easy putting one’s mother in a care facility. We have always tried to avoid this step but as time rolled by the service was needed. I must commend Church View Nursing & Residential Home, the facility and the entire staff from the caregivers, nurses, cook, laundry and housekeeping personnel. They are the stand-out stars that have now changed my mindset on elderly care facilities. Even though there are language constraints (my mother can only speak Chinese) the staff at the home have been able to manage and care for my mother with the utmost professionalism and make it work. I can see that they do care about their jobs and the charges they manage. Even when there was a medical scare, the staff were available to see that the paramedics were well informed of her medical condition before my mother was admitted into hospital A&E. She has since been discharged and back at Church View. It is without hesitation, I would highly recommend Church View if you are seeking a place for your loved ones.

My mum has been with Church View Nursing & Residential Home since December. All the staff have been amazing, they’re so helpful and happy doing a hard job, a pat on the back for everyone in there.
Mum hasn’t been able to get up and about any more and literally was bedbound for three months before going to Church View, now she’s up going for breakfast every morning, it’s great seeing her just being with the other residents.

Thank you to all the staff.

My grandmother has been a resident since December 2022. The staff in there are lovely, friendly and very helpful.

It was really hard for my grandmother to adjust at first as she doesn’t speak English and the staff have been more than helpful and welcoming to her, now they have their own way of communication which is nice to see.

After Mum had a fall she was admitted to Church View Nursing & Residential Home for respite care. From when she arrived, the manager and staff could not do enough to ensure she was happy and comfortable. All the staff go the extra mile to make sure the residents are happy and fulfilled both mentally and physically.

The atmosphere at the home is warm and friendly, all the staff from the nursing staff, carers and cleaners are always polite and helpful. The home is spotless and residents appear happy and contented. I would thoroughly recommend Church View to anyone looking for a care home for their loved one.

Mum has been here for over twelve months now and I have nothing but praise for the way she is treated by all the staff. The place is always clean and they do stuff to entertain the residents as often as possible. Recently decorated for Halloween, games ongoing and karaoke plus trips out now Covid has lessened restrictions. Mum changed rooms recently and the place was completely refurbished with new wallpaper, new sink unit, wardrobes and a new paint job by the great handyman. Always made to feel welcome, a home from home for my mum.

The care my brother receives at Church View Nursing & Residential Home is amazing, not only does he get looked after so well, there is a fun factor too. I was there for Halloween and all the staff and residents had fantastic costumes on, there was a buffet, karaoke and dancing.

The staff will do anything for their residents, my brother wanted to play darts so they went out and got him a dart board, nothing is too much for them. They have just done the care home up for Christmas and it looks amazing. The home is spotless, the food is great and the care from the staff is fantastic.

We moved my mum to Church View Nursing & Residential Home after a bad experience at another home. The difference here is unbelievable. The people that work in the home are so caring and treat my mum like one of their own family. My mum has improved in terms of overall mood and is far more relaxed and is just better cared for overall. It gives myself and my sisters confidence and peace of mind that Mum is being looked after. The communication from the staff is excellent. I'm so glad we managed to get my mum in here. They do a great job. Thank you.

My mum-in-law was a resident at Church View Nursing & Residential Home until she passed. I have to say from the manager, nursing and care staff down to the domestics, nothing was too much trouble.

I can't thank them all enough for the wonderful job they are doing.

Mum has lived at Church View for the past three years. She had multiple and complex nursing needs. Right from the first time we visited, we felt comfortable and satisfied this was the right place for Mum. The home is bright, well kept, clean and fresh. The staff have been wonderful to both Mum and us, her family, during a very challenging and emotional few years. Mum has always been treated with great care and respect, and we have had every confidence in her comfort and care. From the manager, nursing and care staff through to the domestic staff, all have been absolutely brilliant. Sadly, Mum has just passed away and the palliative care she received here was second to none. Can't thank the staff enough for their care, attention and support at this difficult time. We considered ourselves very lucky to have found this place for Mum. She was always happy and obviously well cared for. Would have no hesitation in recommending this home from home establishment.

Words cannot describe how thankful we are to find such a wonderful nursing home for my mum. All the staff are professional, kind and caring and are always striving to make sure Mum has a lovely day. The care and dedication demonstrated have been outstanding.
Looking for a suitable home was utterly overwhelming and traumatic as a family, especially for Mum, but the manager took the time to talk through all of our worries and concerns and has provided endless support and kindness to us all, especially Mum, and I will be eternally grateful.

Thank you all so very much for looking after our beautiful mum.

I cannot express how much me and my family are so happy my dad is at Church View Nursing & Residential Home. The manager and her staff are amazing.
Not only has my dad settled in so well, my mum is at ease with having to place Dad into care and this is all down to my dad's hotel, as he calls it, being excellent, courteous and respectful to my dad.
It’s like a big extension of our family home.

Do not hesitate, if like us your loved one needs care, Church View is the place.
