My dad has been at care for the last 6mths in that time i feel very happy with the care he has received in that time and looked after well. All staff are always available if you need anything and are always happy to talk to you at anytime
I find Kingswood Mount Care Home that the staff are very caring and very easy to talk to. When you are in the home you can see how well the residents are well looked after and always very clean and treated with dignity.
My overall opinion of Kingswood Mount is nothing short but exceptional. Every time I visit my dad, I'm so impressed with what's available and what's on offer. I feel comfortable leaving dad as I know he's in safe and caring hands.

My husband was admitted to Kingswood Mount in April 2025 since then iam am happy with the care my husband receives I feel all staff are amazing the nursing team have made me feel more relaxed within in myself with the care they are providing.
Thank you for your review of Kingswood Mount. We are delighted that you are happy with the care your husband receives and you are able to relax knowing that the team are providing good care
Mum came here 2 weeks ago , staff are lovely too soon to really say if mum will settle in on but ok so far, rooms are adequate and meals look nice , mum was in hospital before she arrived so seems to be settling in ok
Staff are lovely and have been really reassuring with meeting his needs and with ensuring both his physical and mental well-being.
Our mum was admitted to Kingswood Mount three and a half years ago during covid, during the time she was there she was shown nothing but kindness care and love from all the staff, from the nurses care workers cleaners and maintenance workers, every member of staff knew mum and always engaged with her, even the singers who come in on a very regular basis organised by the entertainment team always took time to speak to her and encourage her to sing along, for those that are able to get out trips are organised and our mum was able to participate in many of those. The staff are incredibly hard-working but always friendly and ready to listen to any concerns we might have had, Mum recently passed away at age 100 and my sister and I can honestly say we could not have asked for anything more than the care she received, the staff went above and beyond their duties. We would have no hesitation in recommending Kingswood Mount. Thank you to each and everyone of you.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. I'm sorry that your mum has passed away but am happy to read what a full and happy life she lived at Kingswood Mount. Your review will help other care seekers to understand, first-hand, what life in Kingswood Mount is like. Thank you for your recommendation. With best wishes.
The Nursing team and all the night staff were excellent too. In fact, the way this home is run is amazing.
This also includes all ancillary workers, showing respect in every way, and clerical staff too. The food is good with help given to residents who need help and encouragement to still enjoy their meals.
There is no fault at all I can give Kingswood Mount, just a lovely friendly and caring staff, highly recommended.
The staff here should be appreciated at all times.
Say yes to Kingswood Mount.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. It's wonderful for the team to read what a positive impact they had, not only for your husband but for you too. Sharing your experience really enables new care seekers to have an honest perspective of life at Kingswood Mount. With best wishes.
I visited with a friend to spend some time with her grandmother, I would just like to say how friendly, caring and helpful the staff are, it's in a lovely setting with surrounding parks, and the home itself feels very homely and warm, would recommend.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review and 5-star rating. It's great for other care seekers to read what your experience of Kingswood Mount has been. With best wishes, Managing Director.
A member of staff in particular has been brilliant at finding lost items (Dad loses something every week).
Everyone is so lovely and we know Dad is very well cared for.
Thank you.
It's great to read that your dad is enjoying life at Kingswood Mount and that you know your dad is very well cared for.
Every time I come in the staff are very cheerful. They are very helpful when asked questions. Have a lovely rapport with Dad, cannon fault attention he gets and enjoys all facilities.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. Thank you also for giving us such a great rating.
Since my dad has been in the care home, he has been treated with respect. The activities are brilliant for my dad. He loves music and singing and always gets involved with these activities. The staff are second to none, they're brilliant with Dad.
What a fantastic review! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your dad's experience of living at Kingswood Mount. This is so helpful to new care seekers to have a first hand account. With best wishes, Managing Director
Keep up the grand work.
It's nice to know Dad is in a well-cared-for place, which gives us the family piece of mind. With huge thanks to all staff. Best regards.
What a fantastic review and rating. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts. It's great for new care seekers to read how positive life is not only for the residents at Kingswood Mount, but also their wider families. With best wishes, Managing Director
The staff were incompetent, I actually had to ask a family member if one of the staff members worked there or if they were a resident. This staff member was being led around by the hand of another staff member and being instructed on what to do, he didn't look as if he could look after himself, never mind vulnerable elderly men and women.
The management are not fit to run their own bath, never mind a care home looking after vulnerable human beings. The manager was incompetent and would not take any accountability for the situation we had with our grandad, comparing the bed sores his staff had caused to a blister he had on his foot.
Do not put your loved ones in here, not worth the stress and worry!
I am very aware of the circumstances regarding your grandad's stay at Kingswood Mount. Please do contact me at info@harbourhealthcare.co.uk should you wish to discuss further.

After a lot of searching for a home for Dad, we unfortunately chose Kingswood Mount. Dad went downhill from day one. Nobody to answer questions we had concerning Dad's health or care. No communication between staff. Dad's meals went from solid food to pureed food many times. When Dad became very ill, staff showed no care for Dad at all, but covering their own backs. Please don't put your loved ones in this home.

As a family, we were very disappointed with the level of care my grandfather received during his time living at Kingswood Mount. He is currently in hospital where he has been for the last five weeks. He will not be going back to this place when he is discharged. Please see my reviews for this place on other platforms.
I hope your grandad's health continues to improve.

How wrong we were.
Within the first week, it was obvious there was no attention to detail in basic personal care.
Dad would be dressed like the gentleman he is one day. The next he would have half the amount of clothes on and look like an unruly teenager. So upsetting to see Dad this way. No dignity and respect given.
The same disregard was given to his food, one day he was given fish and chips, the next puréed beans (slop) there was no communication or consistency with the care provided.
You could never get an answer to any concerns as everyone you asked either didn’t get Dad up that day or was working upstairs that day.
We visited every day in the eight weeks Dad was in this home. Thank god we did.
Dad ended up really ill (which was avoidable).
I wouldn’t put anyone who was dear to you in this home. From the management down, there is no concern or empathy given. Absolute disgrace.
I have spoken to the home to understand better the circumstances around your Dad's stay and transfer to hospital.
I hope your Dad's health continues to improve.
With best wishes,Honor Keatley

I have full admiration for the staff and carers, they are friendly, caring and always obliging. My husband settled easily and is well cared for, for which I am truly grateful.
With best wishes.
My mother moved to Kingswood Mount mid-May 2023 after being in a residential home for almost 2 years. I wasn't sure if my mum was going to live for very much longer when she moved here, but the improvement in her appearance and her dementia had been massive. My mum has put weight back on, she knows who we all are when we visit and is so much more aware of her surroundings. A massive thank you to all the staff.
With best wishes.

Meet the Team (4)
Hi, my name is John. I am the Home Manager of Allerton Lodge Care Home.
I have been a nurse since 2002 and have been a Home Manager since 2012.
What keeps me doing the role is a sense of family and community. I don’t see the nursing home just as a nursing home, I see it as a big house and at the core of the house is family. That family includes the team, the residents and the residents' families and loved ones, treating each other with respect and dignity what a good family should do. It's a sense of belonging to the community that brings out the best in all of us, and my home at Allerton Lodge Care Home feels like it very much belongs to the local community. A good manager involves everyone in decisions and choices that are made for the home, and I want all our families to also feel part of our big family.
Hello, my name is Clare. I am the Deputy Home Manager at Allerton Lodge Care Home.
I have worked in social care for over 20 years within dementia and residential settings across Liverpool. I joined Allerton Lodge Care Home as a Senior Care Assistant in 2015; in that time, I have gained a lot of experience and knowledge within the management setting. I am also working towards completing my level 5 in leadership and management to further my skills within my role.
I take pride in working at Allerton Lodge Care Home and working alongside our incredible and talented team. I believe everyone should be treated with dignity and respect, and all our team members to promote person-centred care to our wonderful residents.
I feel I am a very approachable and positive person and will always be happy to stop what I am doing to talk to any of our residents/staff and families.
Hi, my name is Nicky, and I am the Administrator at Allerton Lodge Care Home.
Hello, my name is Karen. I am the Activity Co-Ordinator at Allerton Lodge Care Home.
I joined Allerton Lodge Care Home in 2014, working as a Care Assistant on days/nights, which I enjoyed very much. I was then given an opportunity to apply for the activity role here at Allerton Lodge Care Home, and I am so glad I did! I find this role very rewarding and fulfilling, as seeing the enjoyment that our wonderful residents get when doing activities with them is amazing. I feel I make a huge difference in their daily life, and I get to spend quality time with the residents either on a 1-1 basis, delivering person-centred activities or within the group. We do a wide range of activities here at Allerton Lodge Care Home throughout the day, and also have live entertainers in, and our residents love to have a good knees-up and a dance!
