Bebington Care Home is one of the largest Care Homes on the Wirral. Providing care for Residential / Residential EMI / Nursing and Nursing EMI they have 80 rooms over four Units.

With a dedicated and friendly care team residents, relatives and friends become a part of the Bebington Care Home family.

Bebington Care Home is LGBTQ+ friendly.

The care home welcomes same-sex couples and allows private time for couples and the sharing of rooms.

The care home's staff have had LGBTQ+ awareness training.

Recently refurbished (June 2023), all rooms have en-suite bathrooms and each Unit with a fully assisted bathroom.

All residents are encouraged to join in with a full and fun-packed activities schedule offering group activities and one-to-one sessions. External activities are also invited to the Home, such as dog therapy and The Owl Man. All denominations are also inclusive.

With an 'open door' policy, visiting times are not restricted. Family and friends are welcome, even those of the furry kind.

I think the idea of a regular newsletter keeping relatives and friends updated is a brilliant idea, it allows me the opportunity to send information to my brother who lives in Bedford and cannot visit. The number of different activities is wonderful as there is always something for everyone to get involved
in.
The staff are always friendly and nothing is too much trouble, I always get a phone call to update me if there is any change and always keep informed of any changes.
It is so nice to be made to feel involved even though I may not be able to visit as often as I would like as I live in Wales.

I couldn't wish for any better care for my lovely wife. The staff are so obviously very caring people who get a great deal of satisfaction from the job they do. I can't honestly think of any way the home could be improved. There are plenty of activities going on, the food is excellent and the management
is first-class.

My dad was a resident here for over a year and a half, in that time the home has seen a change in management and a complete refurb. I can honestly say, Dad was so well looked after and cared for even though he could be difficult at times. The staff are all amazing, they go above and beyond for their
residents to make sure they are happy every single day, with daily activities and parties for special occasions (always made a fuss of on their birthdays). The whole team of staff from manager, activities, kitchen, cleaning staff and all the carers are absolutely outstanding. I will be forever grateful for the love and care my dad received in the time he was a resident, as I know he was so thankful for their support.

The standard of care at Bebington is excellent. All needs are taken care of. The safety and security of the residents are a high priority. My mum looks great and all the other services offered like haircuts and nail treatments are brilliant.

I have found this home to be safe for my friend. Also, staff and management are pleasant and helpful and go out of their way to help. They are very caring towards all the residents and provide plenty of activities for residents, some of which family and friends can go to. The resident's rooms are a

Mum spent a lot of time in hospital and was very nervous, but having spent a few months at Bebington she is starting to feel really at home. All the staff have been really amazing and have been very patient with her and are always there for her. After a long search it was definitely the right fit and
choice. It's been a long journey and I would definitely recommend them.

All staff I’ve met and spoken to seem kind committed and professional. The recent renovations are clean and bright. I receive phone calls if my mum’s condition or medication changes and she has a care plan in place. I am happy with the level of care she is receiving at Bebington Care Home.

Bebington Care Home is a caring, loving and responsive home under which we felt my stepfather was really looked after. The staff were caring and really showed a real affection and fondness of my stepfather. They handled his passing with respect and dignity. Thank you Bebington Care Home.

My mum has recently moved into Bebington Care Home. As a family, we are very impressed so far, the commitment to care is excellent.
My mum's needs are acted on, she looks well cared for and has settled well. There is a high level of staff which makes things run smoothly and minimises my mum's anxieties
as she does not have to wait to have her needs met.

Staff are always lovely and caring towards my auntie. Over Christmas, there were lots of activities and lovely parties for the residents. The home always looks clean and bright and the food is lovely. The management team are always welcoming and have time to speak to us.

Overall, I find the care home to be really good. They are in the middle of a full refurbishment at the moment and it can sometimes be a little noisy, although they do try to minimise the disruption.
The en-suite rooms are lovely, with a nice bathroom. Unfortunately, my mother can't use hers due to
being bedbound.
The staff are always friendly, although some are a little hard to understand sometimes.

Both of my parents came to the home - my father needed nursing care, and my mum respite following my father's illness. They have both been treated with dignity, respect and genuine care and attention. My father sadly passed away in May, and the whole family was supported by all the staff. My mum is
now residential, and the whole unit has a warm family feel with their individual needs cared for. The staff have all become part of our family, and everyone is encouraged to be a part of the community. One of the best reviews came from a paramedic transporting my father to the hospital one night - "I've never seen a care home that takes as much time and care to prepare the patient for the journey".

My mum is so happy here. Fantasic caring staff, nothing is too much trouble.
The home is spotless too.
Mum particularly loves when the owl visits and the sing a longs they have.

My mum has been in Bebington Care Home for three years, during this time her dementia has got worse and the pandemic has not helped because of the lack of family visits. Despite this, her care is all we could ask for and expect during this time. We hope things will get back to normal as soon as possible
and we can resume more visits.

Staff are always friendly and obviously care very much for the health and well being of their residents.
Mother's room is always clean and tidy as are the main lounge and corridors.
Downstairs the decor is very welcoming and feels comfortable when entering the building, calming even.

Have been able to see Mum face to face for the last 2 visits. There are systems in place to ensure contact is safe and secure. Staff are very helpful and polite. The regular contact from the care home has vastly improved (via post, email and telephone) over the last 6 months. Mum is a very private person
and doesn't like moving from her room, but staff ensure she is visited in her room as much as possible. Cleanliness in her room before COVID seemed an issue, but has improved of late. I know staff care for Mum and I'm happy now with how the care home is being run.

I joined Bebington Care Home as the Home Manager in January 2023.


I have a real passion for Bebington Care Home because this is where I began my career in care over 20 years ago as a care assistant.


I have worked in care for a long time, and there are many reasons for this. I love the fact that the smallest of gestures mean the most to others, and if, during the course of my working day I can make others feel valued and genuinely cared for, then I know that I am making a difference to someone’s life. Caring for others is the most rewarding career to have.


I am a perfectionist who enjoys the attention to detail that comes with this job, I like to focus on the standards of attainment required to hold the position that I love.


My door will always be open, I am responsive and ready to help in any way that I can. I both encourage and welcome any feedback that will help us to shape the future of the home.
