The care and attention that he was given was very good. Staff from all the homes departments were lovely and dad was made as comfortable as possible.
I wish I could name individual staff that I came into contact with when visiting Dad, especially the carer that was with him at the end but as that's not allowed I can only hope that they know who they are if they are reading this and I would like to say a very big Thank You to you all.
Having been a nurse for over 20 years I have lots of experience of care homes and this is one in a million. Elderholme truly is a home from home. Excellent staff, good food (always important when you’re a bit older), fantastic level of care and beautiful surroundings. I couldn’t imagine a better place for my Grandad to spend his dotage.

- Good - The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
- Requires Improvement - The service isn't performing as well as it should and we have told the service how it must improve.
- Inadequate - The service is performing badly and we've taken action against the person or organisation that runs it.
