Dad was discharged from hospital in a failing condition. The admitting nurse immediately recognised the situation and took action, however, dad's condition worsened despite all the efforts of the staff at Park House. We will be eternally grateful to everyone for treating dad with dignity and respect
and care beyond our expectations. Dad only had five days of this wonderful support, but we are grateful that those five days were as good as they could be. Many, many thanks to you all.

My father arrived at the home very close to the end of his life. All the staff treated him with love and respect. The care they gave him was very touching. They were caring, respectful and highly professional. I could not have wished for a better place for my father to spend the last days of his life.
I would recommend Park House to everybody without the slightest hesitation. My sincerest thanks to all of you.

I can't praise highly enough the staff and the care my grandfather received at Park House. He was treated with dignity and respect at all times. Nothing was too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending Park House as a care home for a loved one.

My mother moved to Park House after a terrible experience in another home. She suffered terrible panic attacks and her mental health suffered as a result. The staff at Park House were patient and gradually she settled in and began to enjoy living there. Some of the care staff are exceptional and loving
and the qualified nursing staff are wonderful. Medical care is outstanding. We had a problem with a few night staff, but it was dealt with promptly and professionally. I am kept informed constantly of her well-being and I recommend Park House without hesitation.

On entering Park House, you are greeted by the friendly, helpful staff with a smile on their faces. My mother is constantly praising the staff for their kindness to her and always treating her with dignity. The home is clean and tidy and well maintained, inside and out. Nothing is too much trouble to
ask for, and their response is quick. I am grateful to them and confident my mother is safe with them.

We find all staff to be very professional and they all treat Mum so kindly. They know Mum's likes and dislikes and she is always clean and tidy. Her room is spotless whatever time we visit.

Park House Care Home is an excellent care home. My father who has recently passed had been so well treated over the last three and a half years. The staff are all very approachable and let you know even if a resident has sustained a tiny scratch. As I do not live locally I have been limited on how often
I can visit, but I have never been judged on how often I am able to come, they have always treated me as though they saw me yesterday. It is very much a happy home, the residents are allowed to wander of their own accord as someone said to me it is their home, so they should be allowed to wander where they wish which impressed me from the start. I would and do recommend Park House Care Home to anyone looking for a care home, it is always clean and the residents are treated with respect and a smile, I have never come across any member of staff being annoyed or grumpy with a resident. If my mother ever needs to go into care I want her to go into Park House Care Home as my first choice as I know she will be well looked after!

Whenever I visit mum or pick her up to take her out for the day, I am humbled by the kindness and humanity shown by the staff. They all know mum's name and her idiosyncrasies. They genuinely care there are plenty of carers around. If mum has a fall or is not 100%, we are informed immediately. Mum is
always dressed in clean clothes, says the food is very nice and her room is modern and clean. Knowing that she is safe and being cared for is a weight off my mind.

The work of Park House is good. My brother is looked after well, he is well-fed and every time I visit he is happy. It is clean and tidy, the staff are outgoing and sociable. Overall satisfactory with Park House. It is a very efficient workforce, lots to admire.

My dad moved to the dementia unit in early 2022. He has settled remarkably well and I cannot thank the staff enough for their care and support. Management and staff are always approachable and professional and I have peace of mind with my dad being here. I cannot comment on food/activities as my dad
would not engage in activities and I don't really see the food.

Nothing but praise - mum has her ups and downs but she is treated so well and likes it here. The staff are lovely and friendly and keep me informed of any problems that arise. They have made my family's life so much more relaxed knowing mum is well looked after.

My brother-in-law has only been in this care home for three weeks. He thinks it is a lot better than his previous home. I must agree with him from what I have seen up to now. The rooms are very clean and well maintained, with a good view out of the window. Also, well decorated and has nice furniture.
Staff and food are excellent and helpful admin team.

Having not been able to visit due to the Covid restrictions for the past 15 months we were impressed by the protocols in place, pleasantness and efficiency of the staff involved. Linda Hardy

Job Title: Registered Home Manager Joined: 2020

I have been a qualified nurse since 1987 and after NHS have managed care homes since 2012. I love the role as it brings me closer to residents and families and means we can deliver excellent care in a homely environment. I enjoy travelling and am brave enough now to travel alone, I love music, theatre and concerts. My daughter Laura is now following in my footsteps and is a qualified children's nurse in London! My dog Dixie, like a second child, keeps me busy!
