All staff are extremely approachable and supportive. My sister has cognitive issues and staff try to meet her needs while still trying to let her remain as independent as possible. Although she does not choose to join in many activities she is always invited to do so. She has complex medical needs and
these are supported with compassion.

My dad has been a resident, with dementia, for a year at Park House care home in Birkenhead. Standards have improved considerably in this last few months, with special thanks to the staff for the way they look after my dad.

The staff were excellent when mum had a fall and needed to go to hopsital. They contacted me instantly. Staff keep me informed on everything about my mum and look after her well.

Warm, friendly atmosphere at Park House Care Home. Staff are helpful and friendly. The only negative comment I can make is the overwhelming odour of food in the corridor.

The staff in Park House are excellent, they can't do enough for my mom, the food is very poor and have to bring in staff for mum all the time.

My husband has now spent several months in Park House. The staff and standard of care are excellent. All grade of staff are obliging and cannot do enough to help their residents and families.
My only complaint is the excessive heat in the home, especially in the summer months. Ventilation is poor and
there is no air conditioning.

I am very pleased to share our views on Park. My mum is happy in her world and is well looked after by nurses, carers and management. If the need arose, they know how to deal with mum, for example, I was a little scared of mum the other day, I called for help and two carers came and mum instantly calmed
down. They were gentle and caring much to my relief! I'm in throughout some mealtimes and the carers cater to all the resident's needs and if my mum's fussy or gone very fussy, the kitchen staff are very good as are the cleaners. They keep it nice and clean around the home.

This care home is brilliant. My husband has been here 3 years, the girls are brilliant with him. He is well taken care of by all the staff even the cleaner. I can go away for a couple of days and I know I don't have to worry about him.

My Mother-in-Law has been in the home for just over a year now. I visit her twice a week and am always amazed at how much love and compassion is shown by the staff. They are collectively an amazing group of caring people. I have never seen anyone being anything other than caring and patient with all
the residents. It must be such a difficult job but the staff always give 110% to every task they are challenged with.

I am happy with every aspect of mums care. All the staff, nursing and carers, cleaners, maintenance and management are extremely caring and professional in every way. Mum is happy with the staff who look after her and she responds to them well. We know mum on occasion doesn't sleep, but the staff make
these moments enjoyable as she drinks tea and happily chats with them as she thinks she is working there. We leave mum knowing she is well looked after even the times she is distressed and wants to go home. It's tough but we know she is well cared for. Thank You

Job Title: Registered Home Manager Joined: 2020

I have been a qualified nurse since 1987 and after NHS have managed care homes since 2012. I love the role as it brings me closer to residents and families and means we can deliver excellent care in a homely environment. I enjoy travelling and am brave enough now to travel alone, I love music, theatre and concerts. My daughter Laura is now following in my footsteps and is a qualified children's nurse in London! My dog Dixie, like a second child, keeps me busy!
