First time my wife has ever been in a home. The experience was very good. The staff were brilliant, very kind and caring.
The management and staff were very caring and competent. My mother was well looked after and made to feel very welcome and at home.
Staff and management not only looked after Mum but also the whole family, nothing was too much trouble.
Staff were always friendly and cheerful.
Thank you for your support during a difficult time.
I have found Hollymere House very friendly and efficient and found it the best home. I have used and would use again. Thank you.
The Manager and staff are extremely efficient, sympathetic and kind to both residents and family. They treated my wife with compassion and care. My family and I would like to thank them for their support at a difficult and sad time. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
My mother-in-law was in Hollymere House for approximately 6 weeks, after living with us for 3 years. She settled straight into the home due to the friendliness and care all the staff showed her. Everyone made her so welcome and they took great care of her. Unfortunately, she has recently died. Again, the nurse and staff dealt with her death superbly. They laid her out like she was asleep. They did a prayer reading with us and left the bible open and a sprig of lilac on her bedside table. It was really lovely. Can't thank them all enough.
Over the last 12 months, my brother has been in several care homes and I can say Hollymere house is by far one of the best. Both the Manager and the carers have gone out of their way to ensure he feels welcome. Aids, including a new mattress, was made available and nothing seems too much trouble. The staff were all pleasant and helpful and willing to do whatever is required.
My husband was nursed for the last 28 hours of his life, in a manner he richly deserved. He was given the best of care, morphine was given as needed, he slept peacefully in a caring environment, with full staff care and support for him and for me during the saddest of times. I rated his care as excellent.
Excellent care home, no faults at all. Every member of staff is very friendly. Carers even took time for me when I was upset and that meant a lot to me. The carers, kitchen staff, nurses and the maintenance man all took great care of my husband and he enjoyed the 'banter' with them all. I don't know what I would have done without their support.
Our Mum was transferred to Hollymere House in mid-April from hospital near Crewe - from our first conversation with the Manager at Hollymere House, the family were so comforted by their caring, knowledgeable and calm approach that we knew Mum's final days would be peaceful and dignified - and they were.
My wife and I came up from the Midlands a week last Saturday and spent a good while with Mum and would like to say a big thanks to all the team, they were wonderful. The Manager explained on the phone, initially, how such a home sits somewhere in between a hospital and a care home and is able to focus on hospice care, the outcomes of which, whilst predictable, are entirely in the control of the staff to achieve; we understood that and were delighted by the way the Hollymere House team went about it and provided such an environment for Mum
Thanks, once again, for such outstanding care and dedication to Mum - we all appreciated it very much!
Best wishes for the future
Hollymere House was exceptional in the care of my Grandma, she was only in there a short while as illness took her too soon, they were above and beyond professional kind and caring.
Although mum was not in Hollymere House for a lengthy stay, I have only got praise for everyone. Mum, unfortunately, died prematurely and I can only thank everyone for their care, love, compassion in caring for mum's last days. The manager should be very proud of how he runs Hollymere. Thank you.
My dad was only in Hollymere House for 16 weeks but following an initial reluctance to accept the need to be in a home he soon found himself enjoying the company of residents and staff alike. He has a nice private room and terrific kindness and compassion from everyone at the home both on day and night shift which I witnessed personally on several occasions.
My mother-in-law has lived at Hollymere House since August 2017. Last month she became very ill, but thankfully is now recovering. I genuinely believe that had it not been for the excellent care and attention that she received from all the staff at Hollymere, she would not be with us today. Thank you to all concerned.
I cannot thank the staff at Hollymere House for the kind and considerate help and support they showed not only to my mother but to my family, especially myself.
My mother spent 5 months at the Hollymere House Care Home and has received the utmost care and sympathy by the manager and all staff. Unfortunately, she has just died but the staff were brilliant in showing care not only to my mother but all members of her family. The family are supported knowing that she was safe and warm and her standard of care and the comfort of her room could not be faulted.
Lovely staff and management.
Dad was only as Hollymere House for a short time and was given the best care available. He was treated with the utmost care and courtesy and had comfort during his last weeks. When he passed away, he did so with all the dignity he could have. I can not single out any member of staff for specific praise as every single one was absolutely superb. Hollymere House has its emphasis very much on CARE.
The last days of her life were made comfortable and despite being extremely busy the staff helped the family and they were exceptional in their care of my sister and their empathy for the relatives.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home. Thank you to all the staff.
The staff, even though they were extremely busy and at times short staffed were exceptional. They cared for my sister and afforded her dignity. They looked after the relatives and kept them informed at every stage. I could not praise them enough.
