The staff and care received were wonderful. I was treated with kindness and dignity. Highly recommended.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is always nice to hear from residents feeling like they were cared for and looked after. Thank you for choosing Brookview Care Home for your stay.
My room was very comfortable with a lovely view. The staff were very friendly and kind. I didn't need a great deal of care, but what I had was very good. My stay fulfilled what I needed after my operation. I didn't find the food very good as there was a lack of vegetables etc. The fruit salad was lovely.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your lovely review. We are glad to help you with your recovery after your operation and it is always lovely to hear words such as "friendly" and "kind" to describe our staff. We will certainly pass your comment regarding the meals on to the home manager. Thank you for choosing Brookview for your stay.
My grandparents attended for respite between October and December 2022. The home were very attentive to our needs and accommodated the request of ensuring our grandparents could spend as much time together as possible, despite their varying needs. The stimulation provided through activities was very welcome and certainly enjoyed by our grandparents and our family. The food was lovely and we as a family enjoyed this on a number of occasions. On the whole, the few issues we did have were addressed quickly and with sincerity and we felt confident that the care provided was excellent. The manager is lovely and nothing seemed too much trouble. We would certainly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to come back if the need arises.
Thank you for leaving your generous review. We are so glad to hear you felt so at ease knowing your grandparents were looked after so well in our care and the home were able to adapt to what they both needed so well. Thank you for choosing our Brookview care home for their stay.
Very caring and kind. Always ready to listen and talk to you. Very clean and excellent.

If i ever have to come into care, i would put you on my first choice. The care i've had was friendly, cheerful and gentle. I have nothing wrong to say at all, only thank you very much.

My husband has been in residential care at Brookview, Alderley Edge. The experience we had was 100%, support, respect and kindness to my husband and family. The manager and four other staff members, in particular, I can't thank enough.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your husband in our care. It is always nice to hear words like kindness and support being used to describe our care. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your husband's stay as comfortable as possible.
My father was only a resident at Brookview for a short time, but the care he received was exceptional. All the staff cared for him with compassion, patience and were very respectful. We appreciated the care and attention given to us as a family during his stay and we were fully informed at every stage. We would like to thank all the staff for everything they did in the last few days of my father's life.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your lovely review. It is always nice to hear from family members, feeling like their loved one is cared for and looked after and to hear words like 'compassion', being used to describe our care. Hopefully, you will go away from this feeling like your loved one received the best possible care. Thank you for choosing Brookview, for your stay.
Nothing but kindness and courtesy at all times from the staff. A very well-run establishment. I certainly would feel safe and comfortable if I need to return. Not keen on processed bread (either brown or white). Suggestions to the manager - An accessible shaving mirror and one further grab rail/ towel rail on the left side of room 44.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are very happy to hear you felt at ease while in our care. We will certainly pass your comments on to the manager. We have taken them on board and are ordering some shaving mirrors on the back of your suggestion. Thank you for choosing Brookview for your stay.
It's always been a very pleasant experience visiting the home. The staff are very courteous. The home is kept clean and the rooms are bright and as homely as is possible.
Thank you for your kind words. We are glad to hear that visiting is always a pleasant experience., we look forward to seeing you again soon.
Amazing, friendly and very caring staff! Very clean and tidy room and communal area. Lots of updates on resident/ loved one and always available to talk to if needed! Excellent activities staff also.
Thank you for your lovely review, we really appreciate you taking the time to leave us your feedback.
Lovely, friendly care home. Grandma has found the staff so helpful. The activities involved are wonderful. Always met with smiles from the staff and dog friendly! (Our little dog loves being able to see her grandma!)
Thank you for your kind words. We really appreciate you taking the time to leave us your feedback.
I can't speak highly enough about the care my wife has received during the three-plus years she has been in Brookview. She is 90, has dementia, and the staff have looked after her with kindness, respect and understanding. They understand what she likes, play the sort of music she enjoys and make great efforts to keep her interested and motivated. Communications are good, and any problems are quickly reported and discussed. She was kept safe during the pandemic, and it is good now to have unrestricted visiting again. I couldn't wish for my wife to have been in any better place for her care.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are glad to hear that you are happy with the care your Wife is receiving at Brookview and that the staff keep her motivated and engaged. Thank you again for your recommendation.
I have received excellent care, both physical and mentally. The staff are so caring and the meals are generally good. Not to your taste? would you like an omelette, cheese on toast or something else?
My room is very comfortable and is cleaned daily. The staff will find a few minutes for a quick chat whilst doing their work, which is nice for those who stay in their rooms.
My laundry is done for me too! we have a lovely hairdresser. The lifting of Covid restrictions will mean our families can visit and the communal activities can start up again.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. It is lovely to hear that you are happy with the care that you are receiving in our home and feel that you are cared for not only physically but mentally too. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The staff of all grades were exceptional not just to my mother but also to me, my sisters and grandsons. We will never forget the kindness, respect, efficiency, sympathy and dignity shown to us all. We couldn't manage to care for our mother at home, she could not have been better cared for.
I have found the staff at Brookview to be excellent. My friend arrived three years ago, in a very distressed state, objecting strongly to her admission. The staff have managed her emotional state very well, to the extent that, although she would rather be 'free', she has described herself on one occasion as 'content' and appreciates the comfort and care supplied. I can't praise the staff enough and am very grateful to them.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We are glad to hear that your friend is now content in our care. after such a distressing start. Thank you again.
Myself and my family feel that all of the staff at Brookview have been very polite, friendly, caring and are looking after my mum extremely well. We can't fault them. They always keep me informed if there are any changes with mum.
Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to hear you feel your Mum is being cared for "extremely well" at Brookview. Thank you again.
Better than I was expecting and the reason I decided to become a permanent resident.
Thank you for your review. We are glad to know Brookview was even better than you expected and that you will now be staying with us long-term.
I can’t thank Brookview Care Home enough for all of the exceptional care they provide for my Father. From the very first day, he arrived each and every one of the staff has gone above and beyond to make him and all our family feel so welcome. I have two young children that love visiting their Grandad and the staff have always interacted with them making each visit a comfortable and lovely one. I feel very lucky to have found a place at Brookview and I would highly recommend, they look after all the residents as if they were family.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is always so nice to hear words like exceptional used to describe our care! Thank you again for your recommendation.
All the staff working on level 3 were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. If I needed any respite then I would certainly apply here first.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. It is lovely to hear you felt happy in our home. We are looking forward to seeing you again.
They so very helpful and considerate of residents and visitors and I cannot stress how incredible their care and patience is, and it truly warms my heart to see how happy they make my mother! I appreciate them so much for all they have done! 10/10.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful, lovely review. We are so pleased to hear mum is happy in our hands! If there is anything further we can do for you, please let us know!

Meet the Team (6)

I am a qualified nurse with over 16 years of experience in healthcare, including working in both the NHS and the care home sector in the UK. I joined Brookview Care Home in 2022 and feel proud to lead such a dedicated and compassionate team.
My passion is creating a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel respected, safe and truly at home. I believe great care comes from strong teamwork, kindness and building meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
Outside of work, I am a proud father of twin girls. I enjoy travelling, music and spending time with my family, which helps me bring warmth and positivity into the home every day.

I have worked for Bupa for 21 years, and have been in this role for 11 of those years- previously I was a care assistant and senior carer.
My favourite thing about my job is caring for other people, and seeing them happy & content.

I have been with Bupa for 2 years, and have recently started my journey as Unit Manager. Prior to this, I worked as a Peripatetic Nurse.
I graduated from nursing school in 2012 in Romania, and worked in ICU cardiovascular surgery for 3 years before I came to England. I enjoy working in care services as I love making a difference for residents every day, no matter how small it is.
In my spare time I enjoy hiking, anything nature related & video gaming.

I started working at Bupa 13 years ago. I have been the activities coordinator for 6 years, prior to this I was a carer here.
I moved from Ireland to England in 2011, where I previously worked in home care within the Ireland community. I enjoy working in care services as I love meeting residents, caring for them, getting to learn about their past and what they'd like to do in the future.
I live locally to the home, in Wilmslow, and have three children; 2 daughters and 1 son. I am a grandmother to 5 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. In my spare time I enjoy spending it with family, walking and socialising with friends.

I started working in the care sector 27 years ago. I have also worked in housekeeping, hairdressing, and home help. I enjoy working in the care sector because making a difference to residents' lives is something I am so passionate about.
I am married with three grown-up children and two stepchildren. I have 6 grandchildren, 4 cats & 1 dog. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, walks with my dog, interior design and gardening. I only live a few miles away now, but I grew up in Alderley Edge and my heart will always be there!

I have worked at Bupa for 15 years. My mother always worked in care, so it was a job I was interested in from an early age - I have worked in the hospitality sector since leaving school.
Getting to know the residents and providing a personal service is why I love my job.
I live local to the home, and in my spare time, I love listening to music, watching movies and reading.
