Corbrook Park Nursing Home

Mums care is satisfactory. I am not always able to find a member of staff when I need to get mum a fresh drink or have any questions to ask. Having reviewed her care plan she is now being showered twice a week.

I am deeply disappointed by the complete lack of acknowledgement after my father's passing. Despite his six years at Corbrook Court, we received no condolence, no contact from management, and no presence at his funeral. This silence was hurtful and reflects the ongoing poor communication and care we experienced throughout his time there. I could not recommend Corbrook Court to anyone seeking care for a loved one.

The management team are great and genuinely care for the residents welfare.

Excellent care, very friendly but professional staff, nothing to much trouble.Atmosphere very homely, excellent relationship with local GP,Decor 1st class, Home is always spotlessly clean. Gardens very well maintained.plenty of activities to keep the resident occupied. Domino's club 1st class, frequent outside entertainment.

The team at Corbrook Park and Cedar Court are always so helpful. A caring team who make my mum feel safe. I had a recent meeting with the manager who was super helpful at supporting us navigate some planning for mum. My mum has settled there really well in their beautiful surroundings and there's always some fun activities and events underway.

So appalling.! Please reconsider sending family members here if have dementia or are challenging.!

Sadly, Mum passed away a week ago, but we will be forever grateful for the compassion and support shown by the entire team during her stay. She passed away with dignity, surrounded by three incredible staff members who were there with her in her final moments. Thank you xx

The staff at Corbrook Park I have found to be very pleasant and helpful. The residents seem to be well provided for with plenty of activities and those responsible for such activities seem very capable. The general appearance of the home is very good but my concerns lie in my relatives room where general cleanliness leaves much to be desired in both the living area and bathroom. My other concern is the microwaveable food which my relative states that the vegetables are often soggy and unappetizing. Considering the amount that is charged each week, these particular issues don't reflect the standards expected.

It was a sad day when my wife was discharged from hospital, unable to stand, walk or talk - a dramatic change from her life before her operation in the hospital. However, Corbrook proved to be an excellent place for her to live out the remainder of her days on earth. She was well cared for by a friendly, professional and caring staff - all of whom became friends. She was tranquil and seemingly content despite communication being next to impossible.

Sometimes it is difficult to get connected to Cedar Court and speak to care staff. The social life coordinator was extremely kind in offering to facilitate a phone call with my loved one when I could not visit him for a few days.

Seen my Mother today who has been a resident of Cedar Court for about a year. The team in Cedar are amazing and cannot do enough for my Mum. She is well looked after and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the care. Thanks for everything you do for Mum x

My mum was a resident at Corbrook Park for several months. I felt secure in the knowledge that she was safe and being well cared for. All of the staff were friendly, caring and supportive to both mum and myself. Any queries we had were immediately answered, or dealt with as was necessary. I would highly recommend Corbrook Park to anyone with a loved one needing respite or residential care.

Mum is still settling in but we are very content with the care that she is receiving and the way in which she is being treated.

I can wholly recommend Corbrooke Car Home. From the first visit by the manager, who was so professional but caring and able to put our minds at rest, through to today, we have received the best care. The Manager and her staff have been so supportive in all aspects of care, informing us as family, along the way and listening to our thoughts and wishes. The whole team get to know the families as well as residents so that you feel very confident in the care provided. There is always a happy atmosphere whenever you visit THANK YOU ALL.

I couldn't rate Corbrook highly enough and it is a home where they go the extra mile to care for their residents, no matter who they are.

My hubby was a resident for the last 3 months of his life he had Dementia and the care they gave him was first class. I was always made to feel welcome when I came and spent time with him. The last 2 weeks of his life were second to none. They made his last week comfortable and let him pass with dignity and peace which I thank them for.

My father came into Corbrook as an emergency respite for a week. However, his G.P advised that he stay in and eventually that was made permenant. I could not be happier with the way all staff at Corbrook have welcomed dad, encouraged him and helped him through the transition. With gratitude and relief I now know dad is in safe hands and enjoying the food, walks and lovely warm environment. Thanks to all Corbrook Staff.

Always a warm and friendly greeting from staff. I only visit at weekends so cannot comment on day to day. Although staff levels are very low at weekends, those that are at work are very kind and helpful for the residents. A problem that does arise is getting someone to answer the bell for those with toilet problems. Weekend reception is very good always very helpful. Food seems good although a bit repetitive. On the whole happy with the care and cleanliness of residents.

Well treated, food good, kind, attentive staff. Grounds beautiful. Would have liked the resident to walk more, but understand that you have to ask him. He's ready to go home, but has been comfortable here and it's been great to help to me. Many thanks.

Since my father has been a resident, Corbrook Park Nursing Home has been supportive in providing a safe environment. Staff members, care providers and general cleaning members are all very friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and on sunny days provide a great space to spend some time outside for fresh air.
