This nursing home is a lovely place to be a resident. The rooms are lovely. The food is good and the staff pleasant, efficient and attentive. My father enjoyed his time there for respite care after a stay in hospital. It is a pleasant location to visit.

The staff at Corbrook have been wonderful with Mum who has had a 3-week stay for respite after a fall. Mum had a lovely room and took part in activities during the day. Mum's health improved during the stay. I cannot praise the team at Corbrook Park enough thanks so much for the way you have cared for Mum, she can't wait to come back!

I am making my comment and observations based on my wife's first 6 weeks of care. Corbrook is an old but entirely well-appointed nursing home. It is warm at all times and very comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodate patient needs and wishes in a very effective manner. Nursing and care needs seem to be well catered for. Social needs in the form of daily activities are also well established again in a very friendly way. Everyone speaks to you with an added smile and it feels like a family environment. The home has a good reputation in the local area.

My mother has been a resident at Corbrook for about 12 months now. From the very beginning, she has been beautifully looked after and her family made very welcome. We feel the residents are made to feel like a family who are well cared for and to feel safe. They have a wide range of stimulating activities daily. The grounds are well used weather permitting which lifts their mental well-being. The staff are exceptionally cheerful and caring and often go the extra mile to help a resident.

My mother came to Corbrook Court as a result of a fall last year. Although she took some time to come to terms with being a resident - the staff team have been very kind and understanding as she takes time to settle in. The events co-ordinator has been particularly kind and has established a good rapport with her. Some of the maintenance issues take a little while to be sorted - but the care from the nursing team is good - and much more important.

The park is in a lovely setting and the grounds and communal areas are kept to a very high standard.

The room designated to my mother was light and airy with lovely views over the exceptionally well-kept gardens. She found moving to a care home very difficult having been independent all her life. She was 93. The nursing staff, carers and ancillary staff were always pleasant and respectful of her needs and showed a great deal of compassion. They went out of their way to make her comfortable and welcome. The facilities at Corbrook are excellent. When Mum died this month, I was very impressed with how the circumstances were handled, and the staff were so kind to me and my brother. I would recommend Corbrook Park to anyone looking for a nursing home for a relative.

Just collected Mum from Corbrook Park. She stayed for three nights respite care. She told me that the staff were all very caring and could not do enough for her. She had a lovely room with en-suite, which Mum was worried about because she is 95 and can't get to the W.C. quickly. When we arrived the staff made such a fuss of Mum, which I appreciated because Mum was a little bit nervous. When I collected her there was a choir visiting singing Christmas carols which was great and all the residents were singing. She will be back in May and September to give us a break. Thanks.

Beautiful house set in lovely gardens for all to enjoy. Mum spent the last few months of her life in your care and as a family, we were very happy with all that you provided. All the staff members we came into contact with not only gave Mum good care they also included us as a family. Everyone did their best to make Mum's life comfortable and happy as possible for her. Your relationship with the doctors was excellent and gave us peace of mind to know that all was being monitored with her health issues. The nurses were very professional, kind and caring, keeping us up to date, discussing changes that were needed and responding to our requests. One regret is that Mum didn't come to you sooner. Many Thanks.

My husband has been at Corbrook Park for three weeks to recover from a gruelling seven weeks in the hospital recovering from sepsis. He says that it has been like a holiday after the hospital. He feels rested and recovered thanks to the staff, time to move on now for some intensive physio to get back on his feet. Many thanks to all concerned at Corbrook.

My dad was a resident in Corbrook Park Care Home for eight days. During this time, we have been extremely impressed with the care and attention he received. Not only were all the staff extremely friendly and responsive to my dad's needs but they also showed him respect and interest in his past career/lifetime activities etc. We would have no hesitation in recommending Corbrook Park to anyone else who needed convalescent or permanent nursing care.

My father passed away early February, the support, kindness and care he has had over the last ten months have been very good and they were excellent during the last few weeks of his life and nothing was too much trouble and the chef was brilliant to see to his needs. Also, the care and nurse's support for my dad and the support for me and my sister was excellent, they went out of their way to support us all and they treated my dad with dignity and respect when he passed. The care for my mum at Corbrook Park Care Home since he passed has been excellent and one member of staff has been a great support to her. The help from the manager, I really have appreciated as her door is always open and supported me as well during this time and continues to do so, as well as the nurses and rest of the team at Corbrook. There are too many to name that have been there for me and my mum over the last three weeks and cannot thank you enough during this difficult time.

My mother was transferred here from the hospital on the 1st of December 2022 for palliative care her stay was short-lived as she passed away on the 7th of December 2022 but during that short time, the care my mother received was the best care she had in the previous 16 weeks of being in the hospital even to putting her in clean pyjamas after her passing .. they treated her with dignity and respect.
