Kevin has worked in care for over 20 years and specialised in Dementia care for over 10 years. Kevin has previously managed a 19-bed residential care home in Cheshire. This care home was rated Outstanding before Kevin sought out a bigger care home to manage Safe Harbour in Bebington. This is our sister home and now Kevin and his management Team have come to give Old Rectory a Boost. Kevin has brought along Kim, Holly and Ashleigh to assist with both Old Rectory and Safe Harbour.
Kevin has been at Old Rectory since 22nd October 2020. We are happy to have him on board.
Registered Nurse Bsc (Hons)
Kim Has been a qualified nurse for 20 years, having worked in the private, public and charitable/not for profit sectors of health care. Kim has laterally worked as a Registered Manager of 2 ‘outstanding’ care homes, as an Admiral Nurse (Dementia Specialist Nurse) across Cheshire and Wirral, and a Senior Quality Assurance Manager. Having provided education to pre and post-registration nurses, GP’s, and to local CCG staff, being published in clinical journals for her work in Dementia care, participating in a national research project with Dementia UK, and featuring in the End of Life Partnerships AGM (2017) her clinical skills are always kept up to date.
Kim has been at Old Rectory since 22nd October 2020. We are happy to have her on board.
Emma joined the team in October 2019 and comes with a wealth of finance and administration experience within the care home sector. Emma manages a small team and is responsible for payroll, HR and finance. Emma is an important part of the team and we are happy to have her on board
Gaynor joined the nursing team in 2016. In August 2019, Gaynor was promoted to Deputy Manager and Clinical Lead. Gaynor supports the manager with all aspects of operational management, deputises for the manager in her absence and holds overall responsibility for maintaining and monitoring high quality clinical care
Sharon is our Clinical Lead here at Old Rectory. Sharon has been a valued member of the team for many years.
Holly has worked in the different health care sectors for over 15 years in a number of roles, most recently as a senior manager involved in the administration, HR, and day-to-day running of multi-site care homes, achieving an ‘outstanding’ rating. Holly has led charities to success and having financial control has ensured their integrity has been upheld.
Holly runs all of the social media pages for Safe harbour and Assists office manager Emma with Old Rectory (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) She also over sees the activity and wellbeing teams for both buildings, ensuring that we have a variety of activities and manage our fundraising. Holly also has a Level 4 Management and Level 5 in Health and Social Care
Holly has been supporting the Old Rectory since 22nd October 2020. We are happy to have her on board.
Ashleigh has worked in Dementia health care for over 6 years as a Health care assistant, trainee Senior Carer, Lead Senor and most recently as a Care manager involved in the day to day running over the care home. Ashleigh is a medication champion and leads the Covid testing and safe steps (falls risks)
Ashleigh cover the Residential floor at Safe Harbour predominantly and supports the Nursing floor where needed. Ashleigh has trained in many things such as Lateral flow testing, pressure care training, medication and End of life care. Ashleigh has a Level 5 in Health and Social Care.
Ashleigh has been at Old Rectory since 22nd October 2020. We are happy to have her on board.
Elaine has worked at Old Rectory for many years, her role is to support the deputy Manager and lead the care team. Elaine has a wealth of knowledge. Elaine has jointly won employee of the year for 2020
