Lovely, friendly and caring staff who have the time, understanding and patience that my friend needs. I'm always made very welcome and enjoy my visits. Any questions I have are answered promptly, giving me the confidence that they really know and understand her needs. It's such a comfort knowing that
my oldest friend is safe, well cared for and heard.

All staff are caring, and when we arrive, they always know where my mother-in-law is sitting. She is now settled in at the home, and we do not intend to move her to a home closer to us, as we originally intended.
The home is clean, warm and friendly. We have no doubt she is in the best place for her
needs.

The care and love our family member receives at Bucklow Manor is more than wonderful. All the staff are extremely friendly, and nothing is ever too much trouble. Our family member is always clean and smartly dressed, and they are extremely happy living at Bucklow Manor. Communication is excellent from

My mum moved into Bucklow Manor Care Home a few weeks ago and we’re very impressed with how quickly she has settled into the home and how happy she is there. This can, most importantly, be down to the wonderful staff they have looking after her. They all have a smile and an upbeat nature which reassures
and comforts us all. Every time I visit I see the same familiar staff offering that continuity of care and building of strong relations with the residents. Compared to other care homes we've visited, it definitely feels more homely and warm.

We visited my auntie. She was sat out in her chair. She looked very clean and cared for, she had recently seen the hairdresser and had some make-up on. She was sat in the lounge with the other residents and was in high spirits. She seems very settled and is comfortable with the staff. The staff were
chatting about my aunt and had a good knowledge of her personality and preferences. Patients are cared for as individuals and not held to routine. Regular activities take place for stimulation.

My mum had a short respite, and I was very impressed by how happy she was when I came to pick her up. She really enjoyed her time and said it was the best place she had stayed. Everyone was so kind, the food was great, and she laughed so much. This was such a great outcome after her last two respites
in other places. I think it helped her dementia; she seemed more settled on coming home than before. Well done to you all; this is what made her family feel relieved. Thank you!

Lovely staff who treat my father like their own family - nothing is too much trouble! Dad very evidently enjoys living at Bucklow Manor. He is always full of smiles for the staff. The staff treat my father with care and the dignity that he deserves, always calling him by his name. We have joined with
the many days organised for the residents and this is lovely to see Dad being given the opportunity to enjoy the celebrations he always has.

Father came to Bucklow Manor in February, having been allocated a place by social services. However, we couldn't have chosen a better home for him ourselves. The staff are fantastic and though Father can't always remember names, his face lights up when the staff interact with him. His room, though fairly
small is always very clean and tidy - though I understand he doesn't spend much time in there. He is downstairs with the other residents. When we visit, we are warmly welcomed and offered a drink on arrival. We feel that our time spent with our father (at the home) is made special. A huge thank you.

I can't speak highly enough of this care home and staff. They are catering for Dad's needs perfectly and he is so happy and everyone seems to love him. Every time a member of the care team come past him, they all stop to give him a hug and he loves the attention. Whenever we leave the home after our
visits, we can rest easy knowing that Dad is receiving the best care possible and finally thank you to one staff member in particular and all the staff for always bringing us pots of tea, much appreciated.

Mum has been in Bucklow Manor for four years and now has advanced dementia. She is very content when we visit and is settled in her environment. The staff( all the staff, carers, domestic staff, chefs etc) are all clearly part of a happy team who know and speak to her and she responds to them. They
are friendly and treat her with such dignity and kindness. I am grateful and reassured that the staff are there when I can't be. It can be very hard to see your relative with this illness but the team make visits a pleasure with the warm, welcoming environment they create.

Bucklow Manor Care Home is so wonderful. They are really looking after my father. They are very friendly and helpful. They are also very considerate towards everybody that goes in there to visit. You get a lovely pot of tea as soon as you get in there and if you need a refill they will bring you another
pot. They also let you know everything by phone, they keep you in the loop at all times. Would highly recommend this home to anybody. The staff are all very caring they are worth their weight in gold.

I have nothing but praise for the staff. They are all so caring and friendly and always have time to answer any queries. We are always greeted with a smile and a tray of tea and coffee. I feel comfortable leaving my husband - who has vascular dementia - as I know he is being cared for. Perhaps the house
could do with a lick of paint, but it is clean and warm which is more important.

I was fortunate enough to spend Christmas Day and Boxing Day with my husband at Bucklow. I was fed and watered in the dining room, and the tables were decorated as you would do at home. The food was great. Since my husband became a resident, services, level of care and compassion have exceeded all expectations.
My family and I visit most days, so this is no show; they are genuinely caring. Most importantly, my husband is happy, and so are we.

My mum was a resident of Bucklow Manor for over four years. The staff nursed my mum through her dementia until the end of her life, with extreme care, patience, gentleness and love. They not only supported my mum, but the whole of her family through the very sad time of her passing away. We cannot praise
or thank the staff enough.

When dad first arrived at the home we couldn’t believe our luck, things changed over the next few months. All the good senior staff have left the home. It seems to be mainly agency staff that do not know the residents properly. The CQC obviously pre announce their visits as the home was very different
that day.

My mum had regular respite care at Bucklow Manor whilst living with me.
She had advanced Dementia.
Compared to all the other care homes offering respite that mum had stayed in, Bucklow Manor was by far the best, by a million miles.
For the first time, mum was happy to be left at the care home, which
was reassuring for us both.
The staff are caring and professional and I felt completely happy and secure that my mum was having the best care in my absence.
Very quickly I decided that if I couldn't manage mum at home any more, she would become a full-time resident at Bucklow Manor.
The manager is absolutely excellent.
The food, care, rooms and most importantly the staff are first rate.

My lovely Mum has Alzheimer's, the care home has been fantastic. The staff can't do enough for you and have become friends, they give me peace of mind as I know my Mum is very well looked after and safe. My visits have always been made to feel so homely. I always feel welcome and staff have always been
there to help if I have any queries. I feel so lucky to have found Bucklow Manor is nothing at all that I don't like. The care my Mum receives is exceptional.

Warm, sensitive and friendly staff run this care home in an amazing way.
The place is immaculately clean. Families of residents are welcome with a smile and an abundance of tea and biscuits.

My hobbies are spending time with my family, holidays, and my pets. I have a Cuban amazon parrot called Billie, an albino toad called Froggit and a bearded dragon called Puff.
