Mum was looked after brilliantly by all the carers and wider staff. She was treated with care and compassion at all times. It was a difficult time for us as a family, but we were also well looked after and any queries we had were promptly dealt with.

My mum is in the EMD Unit and has been for 8 years. In the most recent years until present day, I am more happy and reassured with the level of care and quality of life that mum is now given, thanks to the wonderful staff and her environment. I am particularly impressed by both the unit manager and the interim manager who really seem to have improved mums sitiatuion, and this is extremely reassuring.

Mum was here 5 times last year for respite and the last time for palliative were she passed away. Honest review, very clean at all times, need reception staff for the door, not acceptable staff being taken off their day job to open for visitors in and out, more full-time staff needed to much pressure put on those that work so hard and sorry, found agency staff not as caring and don't know residents, needs poor at times. Mum's ring was taken hours after left, not happy, never found! Can't fault mums last few days, staff were amazing.

As a family, we searched for a care home offering respite care, leading to a permanent place. We searched online for homes having relationships with community groups and dementia freidnly charities. Highfield Hall Care Home had this, and I had heard positive anecdotal evidence from a friend. The manager and senior carer, Sarah, visited Mum at her home after two impromptu visits by different members of the family. We have not been disappointed by the care and consideration they have shown our Mum. The staff answer all our questions as we are very new to this and want the best for Mum.

My father moved into Highfield Hall Care Home around 20months ago in the dementia side, and lived there up until his death very recently. We cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness & caring support, not only to our father, but also to us as a family. I can not sing their praises highly enough. Our fathers life ended in the home & even after death their respect & compassion to Dad & again ourselves was outstanding. We as a family would highly recommend Highfield Hall as the perfect home for your loved one.

My mum was a very strong and independent lady who developed dementia in her 80's. We were apprehensive about how she would adapt to life at Highfield but with the support and experience of the staff she settled well and far quicker than we expected. There is a lovely atmosphere within Highfield and my mum was always surprised but delighted when anyone who passed by would acknowledge her and say hello. All the staff were approachable and friendly and family members were encouraged to visit and join the many activities taking place. I can't thank Highfield enough. They took many of our worries away by providing a safe, caring and supportive environment for our mum.

My 85th year old Mum joined residents at Highfield Hall for a respite stay following a straightforward and supportive assessment in her home by senior staff. Once the respite period ended, we requested that Mum remain at Highfield Hall on a permanent basis since she was clearly less agitated and anxious. Staff at this care home are excellent, the facilities and rooms are bright and airy, and whilst still struggling with her dementia, Mum was supported to be independent and herself. I would thoroughly recommend this care home.

Both my mother and father have resided at Highfield. Dad sadly died some 12 months back, his care was excellent, and we were fully supported in that time. I was with him in the home till the end. Mum continues in the home, and the level of care has not ceased to be that of excellence.

Having a parent in a care home is tough going for any family. My dad was at Highfield hall for almost 4 years. The team are caring and compassionate, and the key ingredient is a wonderful lady called Michelle Southern who leads the team. She provided us with reassurance, guidance, empathy, professionalism and support through numerous health issues. She always knew and understood all my dad's health care needs, always seeking ways to improve life for my dad. She looked after me and my sister at every step of the way. It was clearly evident that all the team look to a particular member of staff for guidance and with good reason.
My dad's key carer was the most compassionate, caring person I have ever met. My dad's eyes lit up when she came in the room. She shared funny stories and treated my dad so beautifully. Sometimes it is the little gestures that made the biggest difference in the world.

Thank you for making us feel part of a family in the last days of my dad's life. Forever grateful.

I could not be more than happy with the care my wife has received since becoming a resident at Highfield. I always feel a family atmosphere in the home, to me I have peace of mind knowing my wife's is safe, well fed and her dignity is well respected. Highfield is clean all throughout the building, the staff are very friendly and helpful if I have any questions regarding my wife's care. The home has great entertainment getting the residents to join in where possible, from days out, to inhouse entertainment. She has been settled in Highfield from day one which speaks volume for the home. Thanks to everyone, I know how hard you work to make Highfield a safe and happy place for the residents and families when they visit their loved ones.

We are absolutely delighted with everything at Highfield Hall Care Home. It is clean, bright and airy and very welcoming upon entry. The staff are absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful and there are always plenty of staff around. They all go over and above in their work and it is a pleasure to visit mum. The rooms are lovely with plenty of room and an ensuite. There is plenty of entertainment with something for residents to join in with every day. It is the nicest care home I have been to view and I can't recommend it enough. Thank you to everyone at Highfield Hall for giving me the piece of mind, knowing that mum is safe and well cared for. We are extremely happy with all the staff and caregivers at Highfield Hall, they treat my mother with dignity and respect, they spend time with her and have developed a trusting relationship, they are responsive to her needs with dementia and she particularly enjoys all the activities they provide including days out. My uncle stayed here in June 2024. This was for respite cover. The facilities were fantastic with plenty of room. I was very impressed with the arranged activities throughout the week which included trips out. The main thing that I would like to comment upon is the attitudes of the staff. The staff were brilliant. They clearly had knowledge of my uncle's history and there was good evidence that they had learned a lot about him. Staff having time for my uncle is brilliant. I have now booked another respite period for him. Man, thanks to all at Highfield Hall.
