Preston Glades Care Home

The quality of care within the home is excellent. The staff are very warmly it's like a home from home.

Very much happy with the way mum has been looked after. Would recommend the home, first class.

All the staff and carers have given excellent care to my father. He has been much happier since leaving the hospital. The food looks beautiful, and the rooms and facilities are lovely and clean. A very friendly and welcoming place to be and visit.

My mother settled in really well, very quickly with severe dementia. The staff are very accommodating to the family members who visit and make us all feel welcome. Mum is encouraged to join in activities, and the environment is safe, friendly and happy. The caring staff are an assurance that Mum is in the right place.

I have been very pleased with the care home. I have found the staff to be very helpful. They have been very caring towards my mother. The home seems to be very well run and provided me with peace of mind during the Covid lockdown and in general.

My dad has spent a few short months at Preston Glades. In this period, he has been shown the most respectful compassionate care. As a family, we couldn't ask for more. All the staff care for not only the resident but the family also. The manager has clearly turned this home around, her passion and dedication to 5-star care shine through. My dad started in Preston Glades for end of life care, he was well looked after right to the end of his journey in life.

I have found the home is clean, the staff are friendly. My husband is treated with respect and love. I'm always made to feel welcome and it brings comfort to me know he is in a safe place.

For my grandmother's transfer to The Glades from hospital, I have been consistently impressed by the quality of attentiveness of the care home staff and the facilities available to the residents. I would have no concerns recommending the home to anyone in need of its services and should my grandmother need to visit the home in the future I would have no concerns should she return to The Glades.

Attentive and friendly care staff. Clean room, comfortable and calm atmosphere. Good access to hand sanitiser and Covid-19 secure space. Good size room with plenty of space for belongings.

You can feel the warmth on entering the home. Staff concerned with the welfare of the residents, kind and helpful. Nothing seems too much trouble.

Nan seems happy and well cared for. Says the staff are attentive. Keep us well updated with her care and what outside parties have said.

My mother was not in Glades Care Home very long but compared to a previous home we were very impressed with the consideration and compassion shown to her. She was in the final stages of her life so was not able to take part in any activities (hence the rating) but she was treated as a person and not a number and whilst she was unable to respond, she was treated as an individual.

I found the staff very helpful and friendly from the moment of contact asking if they could do respite care for my dad to his leaving. The meals were great and dad always had more than enough. The staff greeted you with a smile and were extremely helpful. My dad did more than he did at home, mixing with other residents, talking to others, and even playing bingo. I found no fault with anything.
