Preston Glades Care Home

I would highly recommend this care home to anyone. My mother has been treated with respect and dignity at all times.

Wonderful nursing home, we are so pleased to have finally found somewhere for my mum where we are happy that she is receiving the care she (and everyone) deserves. The staff go out of their way to support my mum and communicate with us as relatives. Good continuity of staff means familiar faces, which helps. Excellent set up where several self-contained smaller areas - each with its own lounge & dining area - results in a friendlier, cosier feel to the environment. The bedrooms we've seen resemble what you might have at home i.e. spacious, well decorated, with nice furniture and homely rather than purely functional. Most valuable are the managers, nursing staff, care assistants and other staff who are all so friendly and helpful. Thank you very much to everyone at Preston Glades, your hard work and dedication are very much appreciated.

In the time my mum was with Preston Glades, I could not have wished for better care. Despite the difficult time, the staff were all lovely and professional caring for her. She told me she was happy with them and really appreciated them. Being far away, it was a great reassurance to know that she was well looked after, with empathy and genuine care. The moment my dad stepped through the door he felt at home. The Glades have made him feel very welcome and everyone is so kind and friendly. He loves his room and the food. He has also made some friends. I feel very happy that my dad is being well looked after, and reassured by the level of attentiveness of the staff to his needs.

I love coming to visit my aunt. The staff are always happy.

Attended jubilee fete today with my mum who had not been out in fresh air for ages. She really enjoyed being outside and watching everyone having fun.

The staff are very good, always available as and when I need them. They know my father very well and attend to all his needs. My father is treated with dignity at all times.

The staff are all welcoming whenever I visit and know my father-in-law very well. They recognise when things are becoming confusing for him, they can direct him to things he needs to do and still treats him with dignity.

Came to the Jubilee Fete. Lovely to see so many residents and staff outside enjoying the fun.

My review is about the carer. She has given a lovely service and is very approachable. She was really welcoming and made the visit more fun.

Thank you to the manager and all the staff for making mum's short stay comfortable. Thank you for the support given to make mum's last wishes possible, we could not have done it without your love and care! Although mum didn't stay with the Preston Glades very long. She was supported and looked after.

First impressions as walking through the door was that it was very clean, met by a lovely woman who tested us before entering the premises. Great help through the visit and the other girls were fantastic aswell. My dad felt very at home here. Thanks to all of you. Keep up the good work.

It's a great pleasure to know mum is being looked after. She seems very settled and happy. This puts me at ease knowing she is being looked after. All the staff are very friendly and do an excellent job! Well done.

The carer was always happy and helpful. She always makes us feel happy in the care she provides, not only to grandmother but to us visiting.
