The home boasts three unique dementia Reconnect communities, designed to create a homely environment and engage residents in various daily activities such as arts and crafts, gardening, and cleaning. The dedicated Reconnect teams are highly trained in caring for individuals with different types of dementia, including Alzheimer's Disease, and ensures round-the-clock care with a higher team-to-resident ratio. My mother became a resident at Green Park shortly before the first lockdown due to covid 19 in 2020. During what has been a very difficult and upsetting time, being separated from her, we have been comforted by the excellent care we know she receives. The staff go above and beyond to keep her well looked
after, safe and stimulated. We are kept informed not only if they have any concerns but also about the 'nice' things - conversations they have with her etc and this has really helped us stay 'connected' even when we couldn't visit.

My aunite is very well looked after. She is always happy. The activities team are brilliant at keeping the residents occupied. The home gave her a new lease of life. She had given up on before she arrived.

My dad is a resident at Green Park as he suffers from dementia, and couldn't cope on his own at home. My mum was also a resident until she passed away in July.
The staff at the care home always treat residents with dignity and respect. Although I can't see my dad, and he struggles to interact on the
phone, I am confident that he is happy and well cared for as my mum was. The activities team are amazing- always coming up with great ideas. My only hope is for Green Park to implement visiting arrangements quickly so that I can see him before he deteriorates further. Thank you for all that you do, stay safe.

My mum is bedridden after a stroke and not happy to be moved. She shouts out of fear and discomfort when staff have to move her. That being said everyone is so kind to her and reassures her. I am happy in the knowledge that my mum is receiving the best care available.

My dad had been in a different home, and we chose to move him as we weren’t happy with the care. Since being here it doesn’t matter when we visit, he is always clean and well presented. He’s stayed a good weight and is obviously well cared for.
The staff are amazing and so friendly and cheerful.

wish for more from a care home for my dad.

Dad moved to Green Park in July 2019 and remains a resident there. He has Alzheimer’s Dementia and has also suffered from pneumonia, which seemed to speed the progress of the dementia. We have been hugely impressed by the staff at Green Park. Dad has been cared for with dignity and respect, whilst also
maintaining a sense of fun too. The home feels like a family and his care, especially when he has been at his lowest points, has been personal and professional. Small things, but arriving unannounced to find a carer in his room with him, reading to him, as he was pretty unresponsive, proved that this was no show, but genuine care which goes on when nobody is watching! I would highly recommend anyone to consider here for your loved one.

My cousin has been at Green Park for several months now. She has a form of dementia and could no longer manage at home. She appears so happy here and is looked after so well. The staff are friendly, professional and truly caring. Since we have all been in lockdown they have continued to provide an outstanding

My aunt was placed at Green Park in emergency circumstances, but we could not have chosen anywhere better. My sister and I are so impressed by the high standard of care given and the kindness and compassion shown by the manager and her team on Cavendish unit. There is a very friendly, welcoming atmosphere
and the carers ensure that all residents are treated as individuals. A special mention for the hard working activities team, who are so enthusiastic and go to so much effort to make the days more special for their residents. It is obvious that there is a real sense of team here and that the staff genuinely care about the wellbeing of residents.
We live some distance away and are not able to visit as often as we would like, but are reassured that our aunt is receiving the best possible care.
A huge thank you to all the carers and staff, who have coped so brilliantly throughout the lockdown period.

My mum is a resident at Green Park for the last 12 months. We would highly recommend this care home to anyone. The staff are always courteous, attentive, very caring and respectful. There are always activities (both internal to the care home and outside of it with trips to local areas) for the residents
to take part in if they wish. The meals provided are tasty and well portioned and they will make arrangements for specific allergies. Our mum is far healthier here than she was when being cared for at home and for her health and well-being (whilst a hard decision to make) has proven day after day to be the right one for her, as she loves being a resident at Green Park.

My mum loves it here, she is always up to something with the activities team who are amazing. All the staff are caring and excellent at their jobs. The home is always clean and tidy and the food looks lovely when I’ve visited during meal times. Green Park is a place where my mum is a lot happier, much
better than when she was being cared for at home. My mum has put on weight and is in a far safer environment with no falls over the last 6 months and no infections either. She is well looked after and this is a credit to the staff here.

I chose this home for my mother because of their amazing activities team, who I had come to know through my work. My mum went into Green Park in January and I cannot recommend this place enough, it is fantastic the care they go to and the entertainers are fantastic. All of the gang, amazing! My mum was very much a home person and did not socialise well but the team have made her feel like one of the family there.

Excellent care home with the best staff! Always go above and beyond! It’s clean and never smells! It’s a proper home from home. My mum was so well looked after but feel the government has let care homes down in the current environment but thank god these homes care so much! Green Park is amazing.

I, like many, never thought my mother would end up in a home. After managing her dementia ourselves for 6-years, it was the right thing to do. After enormous research, GreenPark ticked all the boxes for us. We were warmly welcomed three times beforehand, turning up unannounced. It's a beautiful place,
all staff are very friendly and caring. Mum receives great care, and we are totally confident she is in safe hands. The meals are freshly cooked and of the highest standard. We cannot praise the staff enough. Each day the activities staff engage the residents with things such as baking, crafts and themed celebrations. It's clear how much the staff all love their work at Green Park. Visitors are encouraged to join in, there is a beautiful tea room, and sweet trolley, coffee and cakes often brought in by friends and relatives. Green Park really is in the heart of the local community.

My Mum has been a resident since 2011, and the care she has received has always been great. I am spurred on to write this review now in response to the care love and attention not only the residents but also, what the families have received during the Covid -19 lockdown. The carers are making every
effort to keep our loved ones safe and have had to step into the family’s role too.
They have done all they can to keep them entertained and keep their spirits up - both the carers and the amazing activities team who deserve a special mention. I can't think of anything that could have been done better during these very difficult times - just amazing. Thank you all of you.

This care home is my mums second place after her first care home couldn't meet her needs. Turns out it was the right place for mum, they do a good job with a disease (Alzheimer's) that can be difficult to manage in later stages. Nowhere is ideal, but glad we found this place for mum and I would recommend
it especially if needing EMI placement.
