My mum sadly passed away but I would like to thank all the staff for their care and compassion shown to my mum over the past three years. She had dementia and could be a challenge some days but the staff were brilliant with her. I'm sure they will miss the banter with her.

Our team works hard to provide the best possible environment for all our residents, and your feedback means a lot to us.
My dad has been in Holly Tree Lodge for two months now. He was quite ill when he first arrived at Holly Tree Lodge. The care and attention from staff has been second to none. There are plenty of stimulating activities arranged for example chair exercises every Monday, and singers coming in to entertain residents. Food is always lovely and rightly rated 5 stars. I cannot fault any of the staff from the manager to the cares to domestic and catering staff. They made this a lovely care home for our loved ones.
Thank you so much for your kind feedback. We are delighted to hear that you're happy with the care your dad receives at Holly Tree Lodge. It means a lot to us, and we will continue to ensure he feels supported, comfortable, and valued. Your words truly encourage our team. Thank you again!

We moved my father-in-law here after a very bad experience in a previous home and the care he received from day 1 was exceptional, every single person there had nothing but time and respect all the residents and their families. We felt happy knowing he was so well looked after and every one of his needs were met to a very high standard, we honestly cannot thank the management and all the other amazing staff enough.

My wife has been a resident for approximately 18 months and she was very agitated at first, but she is now really happy although she still doesn’t recognise me, she always shouts for a staff member and me, well that’s what the carers tell us, but I’m in a care home now myself. I’ve just been looking at rooms available, and there are 3, l may talk to them about it, l have complex needs, and l need hoisting out and into bed, l don’t think it’s going to change so will have to talk to them about it.
Myself and my family found Holly Tree Care Home to be of a very high standard of care for my mum. From the first phone call to the manager, meeting her and the staff and throughout my mum's stay, we can't thank them enough for all their care, love and support to Mum and our family. A special mention to some of the carers and nurses. We will recommend Holly Tree with fondness in our hearts.

The care she received was both professional and empathetic to her condition and all her individual needs this entailed.
Her stroke had left Mum immobile, nonverbal and incontinent and mild dementia etc. To find this place and amazing staff has been one of life's true blessings for Mum and our family.
We were able to leave Mum for days, knowing she was well cared for. This was priceless for our family
The place is well-staffed with kind attentive people. The food is homemade and tasty. The nurses always had time to explain and inform.
An upbeat approach and flow was in the air, which says to me it was managed well.
Highly recommend.

Overall my experience of Holly Tree Lodge has been positive. Mum always looks well cared for an I have no concerns regarding her well-being. The staff include Mum in social activities. Visited on 21/03/2024, although Mum has only been here a month she appears to be really settled. The staff are friendly and approachable. She has been treated with warmth and respect. Nothing seems to be too much trouble.

It took us a few attempts to find the correct home for my nan, Holly Tree being the third one. But she has settled in lovely. The worry we had previously has now lifted as we know she is being cared for by the lovely staff.

From the lovely, approachable, happy-to-help managers right down to the hard-working cleaning staff.
Everyone is very friendly and ready to assist when needed. They show compassion at all times, even when situations can be challenging. Health problems are dealt with quickly by contacting GPs or Health Professionals for advice and medication.
One/one assistance is put into place immediately when necessary. All staff quickly learn each resident's individual needs.

More importantly, our loved ones are dressed in their own clothes, which are always laundered to a high standard.
The food is excellent!

Meet the Team (9)

"I began my journey into the care home as a Registered Nurse, ready to face the challenges. Although it was a test, I also found many positive aspects. After a year, I was promoted to the position of Deputy Manager, which allowed me to gain further experience. Both roles have given me a lot of satisfaction and enabled me to find fulfilment in my work. Alongside the residents and their families, we can genuinely say that we are building the Holly Tree Lodge Family."
"Our care and dedication make this place truly special. I really appreciate the strong support from Andrew and Steve and the managers, their frequent visits, attention to detail and their commitment to promoting staff training. These aspects make our company a great place to work."

Sarah came to Holly Tree and was initially employed as the activities coordinator, then was promoted to Senior Care Assistant. She decided to take a different career path and became a home administrator.
"We are a family at Holly Tree and I love working here, the owners are willing to help with anything you need."

I believe we’ve created a supportive and positive environment where both staff and residents feel valued. We work together closely, and that teamwork really shines through in the care we provide. It’s a place where everyone looks out for each other, and I’m proud to be part of it.

There’s a real sense of community here. We face challenges together, support one another, and celebrate the progress and small wins along the way. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the positive impact we make in our residents’ lives. Holly Tree Lodge feels more like a family than just a workplace, and that’s what makes it so fulfilling for me.

My name is Jessica, and I work at Holly Tree Lodge as a chef. I truly enjoy working here because every day brings a new opportunity to make a difference. Cooking for our residents isn’t just about preparing meals — it’s about bringing comfort, joy, and a sense of home to people who deserve the very best.

We are painters and decorators for Trust Care Ltd, and we’re often working at Holly Tree Lodge. Our job is to make sure the environment feels warm, welcoming, and truly homely for the residents.
