Clean, welcoming, nice, caring staff, good food and pleasant surroundings. The rooms are more than adequate, management caring, approachable and supportive. The staff always ensure that the service users dignity is maintained, security maintained. Programme of activities in place. Outside specialists and other staff regularly available e.g chiropodist, hairdresser etc. A good standard overall.

Overall Experience

When choosing a home for my mum, we visited several in the area, feeling thoroughly depressed until we came to Broom. Immediately, a warm friendly atmosphere and smiles. Since moving in, we have always found the staff very approachable, always willing to listen and help, calling a doctor if needed, always informing us of outcomes. The staff day and night, are always around if there is a request for a cup of tea, or a biscuit, any problem at all.

The activities throughout the day are well organised and enjoyed, including trips out. The staff have a good sense of humour and make relatives feel relaxed, creating a good atmosphere.

The home is very welcoming and the staff are great. The home have really looked after my grandma since she moved in. Grandma loves the food, especially the fish and chips! I really like how the owners are investing in the home. It's being done up to a lovely standard and you can tell the family that own it care. Really happy with everything I definitely recommend it.

My mother came to the home for some respite care for my mother and our family as we were wanting to take a short break, we found the care staff were very welcoming to both my mother and us. They could not do enough at the home. My mother really enjoyed staying at the home and even went on a trip to Cleethorpes, she is booked in at the end of November for another 2 weeks.
