I am really happy with the service my partner gets. All the staff are very welcoming. My partner has settled very well, and he likes it there. As long as I know he is happy there, I am.

My first impression was excellent regarding the building and staff. Over time my opinion has not changed. The staff are approachable, friendly and very professional. The food is plentiful and has a good variety and good quality. I would recommend Moorgate Lodge to families that need this high quality of care.

From day one of Mum's moving into Moorgate Lodge, we knew we had found the correct care for Mum. The home is beautiful. The staff, well, I can't praise them enough. Caring and professional, keep us informed at every stage of Mum's care. The rapper Mum has with everyone is a delight to see. I cannot recommend this place enough.

The staff at Moorgate Lodge treat my mum as if she was a member of their own family. They really care about her, and nothing is too much trouble. As a family, we feel at ease knowing she is looked after and cared for.

From the moment we walked into Moorgate Lodge, we felt welcome. The manager was professional and knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The care given to my father was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond their duties. Moorgate Lodge felt like a "home", not an institution. I find the staff are all very caring and treat the residents and visitors very well. At times it appears that there is a shortage of staff. Perhaps there could be more things done to stimulate the patients instead of just sitting and watching TV, although I appreciate that not all residents want to do anything or are capable of doing other things.

Although he would obviously rather not be in the home, my friend is well-settled and comfortable in his surroundings. This is mainly due to the care staff who look after him.

My mum received end of life care in Moorgate Lodge from June until she passed away at the beginning of October. The care she received was never less than outstanding and the staff were some of the kindest and most dedicated professionals you could wish to meet. I would just like to say thank you for everything they did to make my mum comfortable during her stay. Way beyond any expectations.

Dad has been here almost 5 weeks now. The care he is receiving is outstanding. I would recommend anyone who is in need of residential or nursing care for their loved one to come home. the nurses and carers are all so very pleasant and nice.

My husband was in Moorgate Lodge for only one week suffering from stomach cancer. The care he received was outstanding, he felt so comfortable. The nurses were so caring towards him, also they were so kind and welcoming to me. He was in the lodge from 22/02/22 - 01/03/22.

He received outstanding care during the time he was with you and was made to feel so comfortable and unafraid. He passed away on 01.03.2022.

My mom passed away a week ago after one year in Moorgate Lodge. We are very thankful fo the home manager and lovely staff on all levels. It has a happy, positive atmosphere with caring friendly staff.

I cannot rate this nursing home high enough. The care my dearly beloved mum received from her first arriving at Moorgate Lodge right up to her sad passing was truly second to none. She was treated with the utmost respect and dignity by all staff, who went above and beyond to ensure she maintained her usual high personal standard. I found it reassuring and heartwarming how much they genuinely care, and could not have been more relieved and grateful that she was in their care.

I, like most daughters, wanted to care for Mum at home, though over time it became more and more apparent that in the best interest of her welfare, her needs could only be met by her going into a care home. And as my dad had some 10 years earlier had had the best care, she had always said that should the time come that she need to go into a nursing home, Moorgate Lodge was the place she wanted to go.

I now have the peace of mind knowing that my precious mum had the best care possible.

My mother was transferred to Moorgate Lodge care home after a spell in hospital. From the very first day, she was treated with kindness, dignity and wonderful care from the amazing staff. Mum is very settled here and it is our wish as a family that she remains here as her permanent home. The staff are always cheerful and extremely kind and nothing is too much trouble.
