Have always found the staff friendly, helpful and efficient. My brother is very happy in the care home, and that speaks volumes.
Thank you for taking the time to review us. Its a pleasure to hear that your brother is happy here with us at Alpine Lodge. We always try our very best to ensure each of our residents feels happy and that they feel at home with us.
Overall, an excellent level of care. The home is very clean, bright and well maintained. The Manager and Staff are lovely, caring and friendly. There are plenty of activities to meet everyone's needs and the residents are clean, tidy and seem very happy with their surroundings. The rooms are very nice too. The food looks really nutritious with a good menu to choose from. Residents' families are made to feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
Thank you very much for submitting your review to us. It is lovely to have a 5-star rating from family members. We do indeed work hard to ensure activities are carried out daily so our residents are happy and content. The new menus we have implemented here have gone down a treat with the residents...
My grandfather has been here for 3 years now and our family cannot thank the staff enough for the care they give him. We are confident that during these extremely difficult times that he is being cared for with dignity and respect as always. Big thank you to all the carers.
Thank you so much for your very kind review, Joanne. I will pass you feedback onto the team. It is really lovely to hear such lovely feedback. These are very trying times and please do rest assure that we giving your grandfather the absolute best person-centred care we can. Thanks again.
My mums complex behaviours have always been dealt with in a calm and empathetic way and the atmosphere at Alpine is always pleasant and welcoming.
Thank you for taking the time to review us, Siobhan. It is indeed an awful situation that we are all in but please rest assured that we are taking good care of mum and you are always welcome to phone us for a chat. I will pass your much-appreciated feedback onto the team.
I just wish to say that my mother has been treated with care, kindness and dignity throughout her time at Alpine Lodge. The staff always seem friendly and helpful and show lots of patience towards my mother even when she is having " an off day". I am very grateful to them all for looking after my mother so well. I know she can be very difficult at times, but they never seem fazed by anything she does or says. Thank you, so much, to you all.
Thank you very much for your review Rowena, your lovely words mean so much to us as a team at this very difficult time. Mum is a pleasure to care for and staff always try their very best to give the very best care they can and it is so good to hear that you are happy with the care and treatment mum receives. Again thank you very much and I will, of course, pass your feedback onto the team.
From the moment my mother-in-law needed full-time nursing care, we could not have found a nicer home. As soon as she was transferred from the Hospital she was met by the most caring staff who made her feel as if she was home from home. She was treated with the utmost care and attention, with dignity and compassion. For which we were eternally grateful, even up to the end. Whilst visiting, we were always met with smiling faces of both staff and residents, it was always clean and fresh and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We can only say we appreciated all you did in caring for Mum whilst she was in your care. Thank you all.
Thank you for your very kind and lovely review Pauline. It is so good to hear that you were happy with the care and treatment your mother-in-law received from us. Our team try their absolute best to ensure that each resident receives the best standards of care which is person-centred to each individual. Thank you again and take care.
My Mother in Law was greeted with smiles and reassurance. her room is small but extremely clean with en-suite. All her needs are catered for by friendly capable staff. The food is good and she enjoyed her lunch.
Thank you very much Peter for taking the time to review us. Our rooms are of a standard size but all have an en-suite in them. It is good to hear your lovely feedback which I will pass onto my team. Thanks again.
My 89-year-old mother had to go into Alpine Lodge after suffering numerous falls at home and needing full-time nursing care. I spoke to the manager at Alpine who reassured me that my mother would be well looked after there. My mother went in the day before Good Friday where she was met at the door by very welcoming staff. Obviously, I have not been able to go into the home due to the Coronavirus situation, but upon seeing the reception area, it looked lovely, clean and smelt very fresh. Since her going in, I have been kept fully up to date on her well-being by the manager and deputy manager. The staff I have seen from a distance all look very friendly and very caring, and I am very satisfied that she is being cared for. I have nothing but praise for Alpine Lodge and would recommend it to anyone.
It is lovely to hear such lovely feedback Maureen. We strive in providing the best quality care and the best service that we can offer. Your very valued feedback will be passed onto the team. Thanks again.
Mum was accepted into Alpine Lodge yesterday afternoon, and I must say that the staff couldn't have made this any easier for us or mum. They were understanding, helpful and very respectful when settling mum in, and have done everything possible considering our current Covid19 climate.
Thank you for your lovely and kind review Josephine, it is very much appreciated and I will pass your feedback onto my team.
Three very grateful daughters.
Thank you for taking the time to review us Diane. I will pass your thanks and appreciation on to my team. At this difficult time, the feedback we are receiving is helping to boost staff morale. It is lovely to know that my team are fully appreciated for what they do. Their actions speak volumes and they are all absolutely amazing. Thanks again Diane.
My mum is treated with dignity and patience. She reports enjoying her food, and the staff are caring. It's clean and comfortable.
Thank you for your review, Kay, it is good to hear that your mum enjoys living here and you and mum are both happy with the care and treatment she receives. I will pass on your greatly appreciated feedback to the team.
We had to move very quickly to secure my mum's safety and everything was handled professionally and effortlessly especially during this incredibly difficult time with Covid-19 around. My first impressions are fantastic.
Thank you so very much for your review, Tina. Your mum is an absolute pleasure to care for. Your review goes a long way in boosting staff morale in these uncertain times. Thanks again for your very kind words.
This attitude is displayed by all staff, nurses, cleaning staff, catering staff, office staff and carers alike. I would recommend Alpine Lodge and have done so in the past, my mother-in-law was also a resident in the home and received the same high care as that of my mother. Under normal circumstances the staff work flat out under challenging circumstances so goodness knows how they are managing to do such a terrific job with the current restrictions. My sincerest praise and thanks go out to all staff, my gratitude difficult to put into words. Thank you so much.
Thank you for your review Coral, your kind words mean so much to us. We are delighted how highly you recommend us and rate us. The staff are absolute diamonds and make Alpine Lodge what it is. I will pass on your very valued feedback to the team. Thanks again.
In this uncertain time that we find ourselves in, I am reassured to know mum is in safe hands where she is. The staff are always so very nice and caring, and my family and I can’t thank them enough for looking after mum for us, not only now, but all of the time.
Thank you for your kind review, I will pass your feedback onto the team.
My mum has been in Alpine Lodge with dementia for 2 1/2 years and in that time she's always been treated with kindness, care and respect by all members of the amazing staff on every level, from the ladies who keep it clean and well kept to the carers, office staff and management. As myself and my family live 250 miles away, I could not leave my mum in better hands. They are all wonderful especially in these difficult times, it must make their job even harder to keep the residents safe, but they do it with a smile. Thank you all.
Thank you for taking the time to review us Lynn. During these difficult times, it is greatly appreciated to boost staff morale. We are very happy to hear that you are happy with the care your mum receives. We always try our best to ensure our residents are well cared for and that they are happy and content. I will pass your feedback onto the team and thanks again.
My grandma has been a resident at Alpine Lodge for about seven months now since she has been unable to stay in her own home. She's been made to feel welcome and settled in very quickly. The home is amazing, getting residents dressed, out of bed and together every day, which doesn't happen in all care homes. All of the staff are friendly and genuinely nice, caring people. My grandma has put on some weight that she desperately needed and is happy and settled there. I'm very impressed with the standards at Alpine Lodge and am grateful to all of the staff for their hard work.
Thank you for your very kind review Lauren. We are so happy that you are happy with your Grandmas care. We always try our best to ensure all of our residents receive person-centred care of the highest standards. I will of course pass your feedback onto the team.
I would just like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff for looking after mum like they do now that we have the coronavirus. It makes things even harder for them to do their jobs. Please keep up your good work, without you we could not function. Your time and effort is really appreciated. I will be thinking about you all and wishing you all the best.
Thank you for your kind review, Richard. Your positive feedback is very welcome at this very uncertain time. We always strive on providing the best care possible. Your positive feedback is helping so much and is boosting staff morale.
My mum has been here for seven months and suffers from vascular dementia. The care she has received has been excellent. The staff are very attentive and are always available to care for her needs and are very experienced. The management is always approachable for any issues. Mum has a history of hospital admissions for dehydration, from living in her own home and a previous care home but she's hasn't had any dehydration since staying in Alpine Lodge. I'm very happy that we chose Alpine Lodge and would recommend it to anyone looking for a care home for their loved one.
Hi Ian, I am so very happy to hear your valued feedback. It is absolutely fantastic to hear that you rate our care so highly which helps us to shape service delivery and improve the quality of our resident's lives.
Always been extremely impressed by the professionalism shown by the staff at Alpine Lodge, and even more so during the virus problems when no visitors are allowed. Staff have been in contact by phone and email to update me on how my uncle is doing. Keep up the fantastic work and thanks for the cheerful environment that you make for everyone.
Thank you for your positive review, Adrian. During this uncertain time, we are trying our very best to ensure our residents are keeping in touch with their families. We can not thank our fabulous supporting relatives enough for all their kind words.
Can’t recommend the Alpine Lodge enough, very kind and caring carers, and nothing is to much trouble for them. They take good care of my aunt as they do all their residents.
Thank you for your positive feedback Claire, it is always very much appreciated. We always try our very best to ensure the residents receive high-quality care that is person-centred to their needs. Thanks again.
