Chatsworth Grange provides care for older people living with a wide range of complex nursing needs, including dementia and those with challenging behaviour.

The home is located a short distance from the centre of Sheffield and has 66 en-suite rooms, all decorated to a high-standard and feature modern furnishings and fittings throughout.

I go and se my wife on a very regular basis. I go 5 days per week spending many hours with my wife. I am made very welcome every time I come to see my wife. The care and support given by the care workers and nurses is 1st class in every way. This is all due to the excellent way the management run this
geat nursing home. This nursing home has to be one of the best in this area and beyond.

The care home management offers genuine warmth & care for both residents & their families. The activity staff are with a particular mention for their continuous interaction with residents. Chatsworth Grange is light years ahead of my grandfather's previous home.

The home is providing a very good level of care and well being. The building is in very good condition, bright and well-decorated. The staff are very, very good. Cleanliness is 10 out of 10. All in all, our opinion of the home is run in a very professional and caring way.

My wife entered Chatsworth Grange Nursing Home in December 2021 when she required specific nursing care. I had no prior experience of the home, but from the outset found a well run, professional team who quickly made not only my wife, but also myself and visitors welcome. My wife is on the EMI Unit,
where she and some other challenging residents are cared for in a most professional manner. In my wife's case, she is 'loved' as well as cared for. All staff from the office and management, cleaners, maintenance staff and entertainment are offered to ensure a happy environment.

Overall Chatsworth is a very good home, management I found to be excellent. Some care staff better than others, rooms a little tired in my opinion but fees are good, so reasonable. I find all staff approachable and helpful. Any problems I have found are dealt with promptly and sorted.

My partner has been in this home for several months now. At first, she was unsettled and now eating. The staff took care of her and she started to eat and settled. I believe she has gained weight. She has taken part in activities which tire her out. She is always clean and well-dressed. The staff have

Wonderful nursing home over a long period. Wife, with dementia, beautifully looked after. I go without an appointment and if in bed asleep, she is always warm, comfortable, and has been tucket up with care. The staff always assure and frequently inform me that they are looking after my wife and that
they also worry, care for, and look after me as well. This they certainly do! This may seem trivial but it means so much. A friendly wonderful care home.

I am very happy with the care and support Mum receives. The carers are understanding of Mum's needs and make me feel happy with the care they give her. Management and office staff are always happy to help with any issues or questions. The food served to residents always looks amazing. The onsite handyman
is always happy to help and is so lovely with the residents. I feel the activities could maybe be improved.

The care my relative is given is very good. The home is very clean and the staff make sure my relative is kept clean which is not always easy. The staff on the whole are very friendly and caring. I am quite happy knowing my wife is well looked after and cared for.

My father was badly affected by dementia when he first arrived at Chatsworth Grange. This caused both him and us great anxiety when we handed his care to the Chatsworth team. However, we very quickly found that he was so well looked after and comfortable and a large burden of guilt and foreboding was
very quickly lifted from us. My father enjoyed the last 15 months of his life in their care, and I know both he and we soon started to feel like they were part of his extended family. I cannot thank or praise them enough for what they did, and the rest of the family all feel the same.

Sadly I cannot recommend Chatsworth Grange. The culture is like something I have never experienced before. There are some good, genuine care staff but, unfortunately, my mum’s basic care needs were not always met. Concerns were not dealt with openly and honestly by management, there was no compassion
or person-centred care. The bedding supplied is not adequate, especially in winter. There are no trips out to shops, garden centres or botanical gardens like it says on the website. My mum was a full fee-paying customer, when her funds dropped below the threshold I was asked to pay an unaffordable top up fee. I had no option but to move her to another home.

The only concern I had was male carers doing personal care when states in the care plan that doesn't want males. I discussed this matter with the ward nurse and she said she would deal with it. I thought the fact she dealt with this straight away was good. Good size rooms, privacy when needed. Good
overall care, would benefit from more one-to-one with residents in bed - interaction. Friendly staff, all staff and nurses on Litton are caring and helpful.

My grandad has been in nursing care at Chatsworth Grange Nursing Home for several months. All staff and management are excellent, everyone is friendly, welcoming and professional. Grandad is treated with love, kindness and dignity which I find to be important to us as a family. Activities are very good
which included sing-a-longs and entertainers. The nursing home would be unable to run without all the hard work of the domestic, laundry, kitchen and maintenance staff do, their work is often overlooked but is very much appreciated. I would recommend Chatsworth Grange Nursing Home, having used another one for another relative. Keep up the good work.
