The nursing home is clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming and always willing to discuss any issues. The staff are kind and friendly to my mom and she is always clean, warm and well fed no matter what time of the day I go. They always keep me informed by phone if there are any problems so I am kept up to date with my moms care.

I cannot recommend this care home highly enough. There are no words to express how happy my brother and I felt about the care, compassion and love that our mother received in her last few weeks at Chatsworth Grange.
Our only regret is that we did not find this home earlier for mum. She was very complex in her needs and behaviour but settled so well in the peaceful loving atmosphere at Chatsworth. All the staff - from the Manager and office team to Nurses, care workers, support staff and building services were pleasant, courteous and nothing was too much for them. Always with a smile even in difficult circumstances, everyone was supportive to myself and my brother at a very upsetting time.

They all treated mum with dignity, respect and love. Thank you so much for making mum's life and ours easier and peaceful.

My Mum passed away 4th December 2017. Her last 12 weeks of life were spent at Chatsworth Nursing home.
My mum was treated with dignity by kind, caring staff. It was inspirational. As a daughter, I feel so touched by all staff care for Mum and us as a family as she entered her last few weeks of life.

Thank you, each and every one of you. You're all truly special and I will never forget you all. Mum is at peace now after her battle with Alzheimer's back in the arms of our Dad. I would be happy to talk to any family that needs any help at any time.

My dad is so happy here. The staff are friendly, caring and extremely professional. Dad now eats very well because it is good home-cooking. The home is clean and always smells fresh. Dad was in hospital several times before coming here but he recuperated fully at Chatsworth Grange due to the expert care and the activities provided. I highly recommend this care home.

The standard of care given to my mother is excellent. I haven't met a member of staff that I can fault in any way.
I always feel comfortable in the home and I know when I leave that Mum is not just looked after but she is cared for.
These people go above and beyond.

Thank you.

Overall Experience

We have been very impressed by the care and attention we have received as a family. The food is of a good standard and they always try their best to get anything that is requested specially. The staff are very caring, but I do feel sometimes they need more help at mealtimes and with getting residents ready for bed etc. The nurses and staff always keep you informed after the doctor visits to keep you up to date with everything. Overall very good.

My mum has been a resident here since November 2016.
The first thing you will notice when entering the property there is no smell and a calm atmosphere.
All the management and staff are welcoming and approachable.
Mum's home is on one of the smaller units and is spacious and comfortable.
The carers and staff on this unit are wonderful and kind.
They can tease a smile from mum just by looking at her and I can't praise them enough. Mum is always telling me she loves them.

She loves dancing and particularly enjoys the musical activities lead by the lovely, full of fun activity coordinators. I can relax in the knowledge that she is receiving excellent care and mum is content.

I think they don't have many meetings at the home really letting the families know anything. Otherwise, the staff are friendly and there is always activities going on in the week or the weekend. I feel though they should really have all the residents up when anything is going on.
