Henleigh Hall Care Home

My wife entered Henleigh Hall on the 19th of January 2023. In the short time she has been a resident, there has been a marked improvement in her general condition, she is happy, socially more amenable, and enjoys the ambience, and the friendliness of the staff who are caring and respectful. The stimulus of the activities programme and the attention she receives has lifted her spirit. Friends and visitors find the ambience and welcome they receive indicative of a well-organised and inviting home from home.

Words cannot express the profound appreciation to all the wonderful staff for making Mum's time with you so enjoyable and happy for her. She certainly made the right call when she said she didn't want to go anywhere else but Henleigh. I (and she) only wish it could have been for longer. Thank you all so much.

My sister in law age 90 was really struggling to manage at home on her own. She is waiting for an operation. I rang Henleigh Hall. They were very helpful and managed to accept her straight away as an emergency. She is still living there. All the staff are wonderful and she is contemplating moving in permanently.

After looking at several homes for Mum Henleigh Hall impressed us the most. Before becoming a resident, Mum had stayed there for several weeks respite and when she was no longer able to stay in her own home, she chose Henleigh Hall for her new home. Mum is well cared for and we have found all the staff we have met to be friendly and very helpful. There are lots of activities and events organised for both residents and their visitors and we have found Henleigh Hall to be a safe and cheerful environment for Mum.

My mum has been here nearly four years. This is home to Mum. She is well cared for and they understand her needs. They even do the added extra by making sure she has a fabulous hairstyle. I feel that Mum is part of a family there and the staff are always very welcoming.

We have been incredibly happy with Henleigh. My father is really well cared for and very happy in the home, we are incredibly grateful to the fantastic team of staff that provide this care and work so hard.

He is very safe there, which he wasn't at home, and we feel he is very well cared for.

I have been treated with dignity and understanding by all levels of staff. Exceptional service by all. Would recommend without hesitation.

Staff focus is, rightly, very much on the health and welfare of the residents. The level of care is very good - recognising that it is the resident's home. The range of activities is excellent and the effort put in by staff for the benefit of all the residents is highly commendable. Staff are always warm and friendly to residents and visitors alike.

Really high standard of care, gets mum out of bed everyday (unless she wants a lie-in!). Frequent activities and very very friendly staff. The nursing team communicate with me often about mum's health and we work together to make a care plan that suits her. It's a wonderful location just next to the park, couldn't ask for more.

The staff have really helped my friend to settle in after a huge life change. The facilities and activities are lovely and the care staff are so kind. nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious and family/friends are welcome to stay which is supportive. Really pleased that this can be a positive experience for such a difficult time.

Ultimately Mums well being is the most important factor after nearly two years in Henleigh Hall Care Home. My sister and I are very happy with how has settled and how she is treated by all the staff. She appears well cared for, clean and content and importantly safe as she had a history of falling. She also joins in activities when encouraged. She liked the food too, always a bonus.

Fantastic care home and staff. Since my mother arrived at the home she has been cared for by dedicated staff who do their best to make her feel at home. The home is well run and maintains a high standard of cleanliness. Our family are kept well informed on my mom's condition. Can't say enough about the staff

I feel my nan is in great hands at this home, the staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive the home itself is inviting and always clean. The activities are fantastic. My nan couldn't be happier and we are confident and content that she is receiving the best care. Can't fault this place and highly recommend.

I have been overwhelmed by the assistance that the management and staff have given to both my husband and myself during his stay at Henleigh Hall Care Home. The management are second to none and i am hoping that they will be about to accommodate my husband on a regular basis for respite until I am able to arrange full time care, again many thanks to all.

We are made to feel very welcome to visit, just as if mum was at the family home. The staff are so caring and warm. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for our mum. Thank you.

Staff here have made my nan feel very welcome and have made the effort to et to know her. The activities are excellent and I love to see that my Nan is always taking part and being brought to the activities to be involved. She is very happy here and is always smiling! My nan has come along in her progress with self feeding/drinking and her speech which is all thanks to Henleigh Hall Care Home. Thank you.

I visit my friend on a regular basis and always feel welcome. The staff are so nice and friendly and always and quite a lot of them know me by name now. I never feel uncomfortable or in the way no matter how long I stay. It doesn't feel like a care home more like a good homely place to live. There is not bad smells like other care homes I have visited. A well-run place with very good staff that care about their residents and treat them like family.

My father has been here for almost four weeks, and we have been very happy with his care. The staff are very attentive and caring. The home is very well equipped for all levels of care. There is also a good variety of activities daily, which the residents can choose to attend or not. My father has particularly enjoyed the activities where a bottle of wine has been involved.
