Since my wife came to reside at The Limes in June 2016, the home has gone through various stages of development. Changes of manager have had an unsettling effect at times but this situation has now been resolved. The staff are very good generally and create a more comfortable environment.

The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting with no care home smells. Staff are well presented with clean/ironed uniforms.

My mother has been a resident at The Laurels and The Limes Care Home for the past two years suffering from dementia. During this time my brother and I have been highly delighted with her care. Following a period of upheaval as a result of two managers leaving in close succession. The care staff have behaved in a most caring and compassionate way, especially when dealing with challenging behaviour. They have bee without fail cheerful and most helpful including the cleaning staff. Mum has settled in well during this time, is eating well and engages well with all members of the care team. I would have no hesitation in recommending. The Laurels care home to anyone seeking to find residential care for a loved one suffering with dementia.
