Cottingley Hall offers both long and short term stays, providing residential, nursing, convalescence and respite care. The care home also provides care for older people with a physical disability and palliative care.

A homely property, Cottingley Hall has a spacious interior with a great deal of thought gone into the furnishings and colour scheme. High ceilings add to the elegance of the living environments and there is also a sensory garden to enjoy.

Meals can be enjoyed in the traditional dining room or in the privacy of residents’ own room. Personalised cakes ensure that birthdays are always treated as special occasions.

Residents enjoy music and gardening, and reminiscence therapy is also organised to help those with dementia. Outings to places of interest make for a varied and interesting social calendar.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good care, nice environment. My dad has been very happy since his move to Cottingley Hall. He has settled well and is enjoying being part of the activities organised by the home.

All the staff are very professional, friendly and care for the residents. Mum's been there just over a year, all through the Covid period and she’s been superbly cared for with testing, health care, entertainment, good food and much more.

My mother has been extremely well cared for since moving in four years ago. The daily entertainment has been especially valuable, and the staff have done a superb job of maintaining this over the last year, despite the usual entertainers not being allowed access. I speak to my mother over the phone,
and she often comments on how wonderful the staff are.

I chose Cottingley Hall Care Home when my father-in-law needed care, because I had seen first hand how the staff treat the residents - with care, compassion and dignity. The home itself is well furnished and feels more like a lovely hotel, it also has a beautiful garden. The staff are friendly and go
out of their way to ensure residents are well cared for and happy - I can definitely recommend!

I am very well cared for here, I have lovely views of the gardens from my room.
I enjoy going to the restaurant for my meals which are always very good.

My mum is very happy here. She is well cared for and efforts during the pandemic have been fantastic.
Leadership is excellent and the resident comes first.

My father has been happy in Cottingley Hall since moving in July 2020, although it has been a very difficult time not being able to visit face to face until very recently.
He speaks highly of the comfort and care which he receives, and particularly enjoys the meals!

It came as a very pleasant surprise just how well my mum settled into Cottingley Hall Care Home when she first moved in. I am certain this was down to the hard work and caring attitude of all the staff. Their patience and understanding and the support they offer to both my mum and to me is invaluable

My mum joined you as a resident in November last year, four months later, we feel she is beginning to accept the situation! I am extremely grateful for the care time you have given her to welcome her and try to make it her home. It has been a difficult few months, and we are lucky that we have been

Honestly I find it very hard to write a review because for 12 of the 18 months my mother has been in the home, it has been in lockdown.
I personally always find the staff at Cottingley Hall caring, knowledgeable, pleasant and attentive.

My mother has been a resident for some time now and because of the care and atmosphere of the home she feels very settled. I have always found staff approachable and friendly but professional.
The ambiance of the home is calming but there always seems to be plenty of activities undertaken with a deal
of thought and planning on most occasions.

I find Cottingley Hall very well presented. The atmosphere is positive and life-affirming. The staff I've dealt with have been friendly, warm and efficient. My father says the care is excellent. He also says the food is very good quality.

Spacious rooms available for nursing and residential care - long and short stays available. Cottingley Hall was previously a private residence, giving it a real homely feel. Today, we still enjoy its gorgeous fireplaces, wood panelled hallways and high ornate ceilings. High quality furnishings give the home an extra special touch, along with our pretty landscaped gardens. All rooms have an en suite W/C or W/C with shower and flat screen TV.
