My mum has been a resident for almost 3 years now, she has put on weight and is very happy and content. Was not good when she first came to Mill Lodge weighing only 51/2 stone, with TLC from staff and management she's now over 7 stone. The residents are very cared for. I am so impressed with Mill Lodge Nursing Home.

I would like to congratulate Mill Lodge, on the excellent nursing care received by my mum.
The staff are so friendly and always have time to sit and have a chat with her, especially if she is not having a good day and a bit upset.
Mum requires 24hour nursing care and has difficulty communicating with staff, but they are all very caring and patient and will sit with her and ask her why she is upset until they get to the bottom of it.
Mill Lodge have an excellent activities coordinator, although mum cannot take part in some of these activities, she is always made to feel she is part of the family and will watch what is going on, she loves to see any entertainers that visit the home too.
Mum has gained a lot of weight since moving into Mill Lodge, this is down to the excellent nutritious meals, prepared for the residents and the snacks they receive morning and afternoon.
The management and staff are very approachable, any concerns are dealt with straight away.

Mill Lodge is a Happy Home.

I am so impressed with Mill Lodge Nursing Home.

My mum has been a resident for the last 20 months, suffers from Alzheimer's and a slow-growing brain tumour. She is tube fed.

When mum entered the home she was not in a good mental state. She was anxious, suffering from sundown syndrome which made her pack her bag every evening. She was at a very unhealthy weight 7st 8lbs.

Now after 20 months of dedicated care, she is content and never packs her bag. She weighs 8st 12lbs now. The most she's weighed for 10 years. She's 93.

Today when we visited, she was sat happily chatting with one of the carers who stopped and chatted with us too. She was dressed well, her room was lovely, clean and tidy.

Since coming into this nursing home she has thrived. The staff are amazing, so kind and caring. I am so impressed with Mill Lodge Nursing Home.

Wonderful, caring staff with a clean environment. The staff never know when we turn up to see mum. When we do, she is cleanly dressed with her hair done. Room is clean with great staff.

Both I and my mother are happy with nursing care. When she fell during early November (which she created herself by trying to go to the toilet without a member of staff to assist) The staff on duty at the time called an ambulance service to check her over. So well satisfied, also food good.
