After mum had not settled in the first care home, and my concerns about her care, finding a vacancy at Astley Grange has been wonderful. Right from my first enquiry I was impressed with the management, the welcome from the carers, the dining, facilities and activities. My mum's life once again became happy, the care is first class, it's really visible both in how clean she and her room always are and how everyone takes pride in looking after her. It's a pleasure of visit and see her smiling again. I would recommend Astley Grange to anyone needing residential or nursing care.

I visit the home on a regular basis and every time I am met by friendly staff, smiles and hello's. My mum seems very happy here and always greets me with a smile. There is a lot of interaction with the staff which always make my visits enjoyable.

The staff are very helpful and caring. The home has excellent levels of cleanliness. My husband and myself noticed that staffing levels were very good, and members of staff were always available to answer questions or attend to any other requirements. We feel extremely satisfied that my Mum is being very well cared for.

Astley Grange was a wonderful place, nothing was too much trouble, either for the residents themselves or for the family. The transfer into the home was made easy and although we knew we would have to pay it seemed like whenever the payments were sorted out it would be ok, and my father would be taken care of until then unpaid. If dad said he wanted a bath he was given one straight away, if dad wanted bacon and egg for breakfast that is what he got. I can't speak too highly of this place.

The carers are kind and care. My late husband was also nursed here. I am happy here. There is no place like home, but I am happy here and happy to have been able to share the company of my husband here.

My husband was in and out of hospital for quite sometime and me his wife and his son and daughter and the hospital decided it would be better if he was a resident in care/nursing home. My daughter after much searching found Astley Grange where he could be given both nursing care ans general care. The family are pleased Astley Grange was found. The nurses and carers are very good and are kind to family visitors. The premises are very clean and residents kept clean, regular manicures and hair appointments. Just one grouch I do not think the menu is attractive to encourage poor eating.
