Brandon House has a Review Score of 9.4 (9.360) out of 10, based on 14 reviews in the last 2 years.
Over all time Brandon House has 45 reviews.
My only criticism is the outdoor space - it could all be so lovely with the large spaces, and room for plantings. There is usually a lot of rubbish about, and it looks uncared for.
The inside, however, is always clean and attractive
Thank you for your honest review for Brandon House. We appreciate you taking the time to give us some feedback on the home and welcome the opportunity to improve the service. We are currently in the process of having the gardens and outdoor spaces managed, and we hope you can see the improvements...
My mum went into Brandon House as an emergency and at the time I was so grateful to the manager who facilitated the admission. As time went on I raised concerns several times regarding my mum's care. Sadly my mum has now passed away and I have formally complained to Leeds City Council regarding her care and that a small amount of her petty cash money which was locked in the safe in the office was missing when I went to get it back. The home had no trace of the money being handed in even though I handed it in the presence of the regional manager to the manager. I don't want to comment any further due to my complaint being investigated.
How saddened we were to read your review. While Leeds City Council review your comments regarding your mothers care, it would not be the time to respond to you on this review platform. However, I want to thank you for providing the subsequent details regarding the issue you had with the balance of...

Its a while since I left my last review and felt I needed to as I cannot compliment the staff team at this home enough. My husband is well cared for loved by all the staff and I can sleep on a night knowing he is in good hands. Kelly the manager is very responsive she always makes time for not just me but all residents and families. My husband loves the home cooked food and he tells me every visit how much he loves the food. The care staff go above and beyond and treat him with dignity and respect despite the challenges that they are faced with each day due to the cruel illness, dementia. I cannot recommend this home and the love and care enough to anyone who is facing the difficult decision to place their loved one into care. Thank you all at brandon . Kelly you and your team deserve a medal

As always we were greeted by the friendly staff. Our aunt was tired and sleepy but obviously well cared for.
Thank you very much for your 5* review. Kelly and her team will really appreciate your comments. Kind regards
I have been very happy with the care and comfort shown towards my mother
In particular one of the carers (Jayne) has been lovely towards my mother demonstrating a caring and joyful approach which has brough a smile to my mothers face.
Thank you for your review and your kind comments, they are very much appreciated. Kind regards
My family-and most importantly my mum-are very happy with Brandon House (BH). Although she has only been there a month, she already feels so settled it seems much longer. Mum moved there as she is unable to live independently and is living with terminal cancer. From day one she has been cared for with dignity, kindness, and compassion, and we feel complete confidence in her care. Her room is bright and comfortable, with her own possessions making it feel like home. She can enjoy her hobbies in her own space and, with support using a hoist and wheelchair, can also join others in the communal areas, garden, and social spaces when we visit. BH is clean, modern, smells nice, and we've been advised of exciting future plans. Mum praises the food and has regained weight after losing much during a hospital stay, which is reassuring. Every staff member has been friendly, attentive, and supportive-we are grateful for the kindness shown to both Mum and our family.
What a wonderfully heartwarming review of Brandon House. It is very much appreciated. The team work so hard to ensure that all residents are well cared for, so to know your Mum is happy and settled is testament to their dedication and skill. Kind regards
I came to visit my brother for the first time at Brandon House on 27.8.25 with my sister. I can happily say every single member of staff we met were friendly, helpful & welcoming. My brother seemed very well cared for and happy. There was a really homely feel to the place & everywhere was very clean & tidy. His room seemed very adequate & comfortable & I left feeling he was in a good place.
Thank you very much for taking the time and trouble to review Brandon House. Its good to know you have such positive things to report following your visit. Kind regards

Thank you so much for your wonderful review and ratings. You are right, to have an appealing menu, full of favorites, is the way to keep our residents happy! Everyone at the home works hard to ensure that residents have all they want and need and the kitchen team are very much part of that! Kind regards
It is a daunting task looking for a care home for a loved one. I can honestly say that everyone that I have met has been wonderful/welcoming people. The manager explained everything involved in the transition from hospital for my mother. Care staff have treated my mother with dignity and respect. There are works ongoing to redecorate certain areas. The environment is very clean and welcoming. Food is cooked on site and very nice. Even though my mother's appetite is small every effort is made to encourage her to eat. A huge relief to find a homely setting with a helpful manager and great carers
We really appreciate you taking the time to review Brandon House so highly. It is so heart-warming to know that you and your mother were welcome into the home so warmly. We pride ourselves in providing a family environment for our residents and this is such wonderful recognition for the home and...
Improvements have increased tremendously.
We look forward to these Improvements continuing.
Many thanks for my personal call from the new manager.
Many thanks for the update on your experience at Brandon House. We appreciate your review. Kind regards
Attention to detail from the manager with regards to mum's needs was brilliant and any concerns I had were put to rest.
The decor is a little dated, and not like the super modern, newer homes we've used in the past. However, it was clean and the room mum was allocated, had a lovely view of the garden.
All the staff were lovely and I was very happy and will be booking again in the future.
Thank you for taking the time to review Brandon House so highly. We appreciate your feedback and are thrilled you are happy with the care we provide our residents. Have a lovely day and please visit us again soon.
Your opening photo of the home shows a line of conifers running down the side of the drive which was removed four years ago to comply with a CQC request at the preceding review. The reason that the CQC asked for this was to improve the view from the resident's windows. The home has just constructed a solid timber fence to the same line and more as the conifer hedge and the same height as the conifer hedge. The visual impact for visitors and residents who live in rooms overlooking this fence is obvious. massively worse than when the hedge was there. The bin store area of the rear car park used to be tidy, however, there are additional bins and a skip outside the bin enclosure. The visual impact for residents whose rooms overlook this area is obvious. Poor.
Thank you for taking the time to review Brandon House. We appreciate your feedback and are continually looking to improve our services and the home. The fencing you have mentioned has now been removed and we are looking into other areas of the home for improvements also. Thank you for your honest...
I enjoy visiting Brandon House because the atmosphere is always cheerful and positive. The staff are wonderful.
Hello Tom, thank you for reviewing Brandon House so highly. We appreciate your feedback and will be sure to relay your kind words to the team. Have a wonderful day.
As a nursing home, I would recommend it but for someone with needs support there needs to be some scrutiny of what the home is claiming against reality and I only hope my report to the Care Quality Commission enforces some changes. Communication is a real letdown. I would not recommend Brandon.
Mark, thank you for leaving us feedback. We are disappointed to hear that your experience was not a positive one, we strive for 100% satisfaction, and we regret to find out that this was not the case. Please do not hesitate to contact us to arrange a meeting to discuss this further. Have a good day.
My mum loves the singing and is really happy. Singing all the old songs. The staff make it as happy and look happy too. That makes a difference. I feel happy too. The staff have made me feel welcome too.
Thank you for taking the time to review Brandon House so highly. Thank you
Very swift response to asking to view the home and ask for a place for Mum. Lovely feel to the home and all questions answered around the previous quality mark. Nothing was too much for the staff, Mum was encouraged to take part and was included in activities. Staff were lovely with the residents. Mum's care was fabulous and she was cared for right up until her passing. Only 5 weeks, but it was the right place.
Thank you for your lovely review of Brandon House. We are so pleased that we could provide a loving and caring environment for your mum. We always strive to offer the highest standard of care for each of our residents for as long as they are under our care. I will be sure to share your kind words with the team. Thank you.
All the staff are very helpful. They all take good care of my uncle. My uncle feels very settled and comfortable. Some of the staff do go above and beyond. A special mention must go to one staff member in particular. She has been very supportive.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. It is lovely to hear how happy your uncle is within the home. It is wonderful to hear that some of the staff go above and beyond to support you and your uncle. I will share your lovely review with all the team.
