My mum has been in Manor Park for about 6 years. Since Paulette has taken up her role as Home Manager there has been a noticible improvement in the retainment of staff & acare delivered.
My mum is on end of life care and as a family we could not have had any better care.
Staff have been excellent, showing care & compassion & professional & extremely attentive to my mum & our families needs.

As a family we could not have managed without the love & care your staff has shown us.

My dad has spent 8 months in Manor Park Care Home. He really didn't want to go into any home, but I can honestly say the staff have been amazing and made him very comfortable and, most importantly, happy. He was well cared for and kept clean at all times. The staff really cared for him, making him smile and laugh; they brought a great sense of fun, and his face lit up whenever they engaged with him. I felt a great peace of mind knowing that he was well looked after. Thank you Manor Park!

I can say my overall view based on how I have seen staff members caring for my friend and other residents is excellent, also the kind way they treat visitors. My friend has been a resident for a long time and in that time I have seen a lot of changes for the good.

I say a heart felt Thank you for looking after my friend so well and for your hard work. I say all staff of different role from the manager to the cleaners are important and by working together makes it feel safe and homely.

My mom has been a resident here for the last two years. She had been treated very kindly and with the greatest respect. Any issues we had were dealt with quickly and were resolved to a satisfactory outcome. All the staff are lovely, and my mum could not praise them enough. They were very patient and understanding with her, and she was very happy here.

We as a family were happy and impressed with the care our mam received whilst a resident. All management and staff were always ready with a smile to greet us and could not do enough to make our mam as loved as we a family did. Unfortunately our mam has now passed away she was given the same dignity in death as she was in life. We would greatly recommend Manor Park Nursing Home we wish mam had been a resident sooner.

My Aunt moved into Manor Park from a hospice and was naturally worried about the move. All the staff at Manor Park did their utmost to put her at ease. Her room was newly decorated and the handyman put up a TV and clock on the wall and we were able to make the room fairly homely. The staff treated my Aunt with dignity, respect and compassion at all times and all her visitors were welcomed and looked after well. The nursing staff were great and they were always willing to keep us informed of my Aunt's medication which gave us assurance that her pain was being managed effectively. I would like to thank the whole team for making my Aunt's final weeks as comfortable as possible.

My aunty has been a resident at Manor Park Care Home for around three years. I visited my aunty at regular intervals. Over the three years I found the staff helpful, and caring to both myself and most importantly my aunty. I was always kept informed of any issues with my aunty. I would like to thank the manager of Manor Park who made a promise to look after all residents like they were the manager's own parents, that promise was kept. I would also like to thank all the staff that took part in caring for my aunty.

Mum became a resident in July 2024 and from that time was looked after with respect and dignity. Mum sadly passed in September 2025, and for all that year, the care she received was excellent, with many of the staff often going the extra mile. In the last couple of months of her time, Mum, myself, and my wife were looked after with care and compassion.

Friendly staff, always happy to answer any questions we may have regarding my father's care. Sometimes can be a wait to access building but it's understandable that staff can be busy when visiting at weekends and if office door is closed. Not usually an issue during the week. Father is happy and settled.

My mother became very ill at the start of June. Every step was taken to ensure my mother got the best care possible. Staff and senior carers were professional and assisted with her safe transfer to hospital. Upon returning she has been met with open arms as if she has returned to her family. All staff have been monitoring to ensure my mum fully recovers. As a family we are extremely grateful to them. We appreciate mum's needs are complex and we will work with her unit to assist in anyway we can.

Food is basic and not appetising. On one occasion residents were given crumpets with squirty cream on for desert. There isn't fresh fruit available at meal times. Residents with allergies are not given the same choices as other residents and are often given repetitive meals.
Clothes often going missing and usually found on other residents. Personal hygiene is hit and miss with residents left without being showered for months. Residents being taken to bed at half past six and the ones that won't stay in bed often left in lounge with no tv or music on.

Staff are undertrained and struggle with the care of the more challenging residents. Management don't listen and will often fabricate the truth to cover up mistakes. Trust is now broken over the number of incidents I have had to endure and challenge.

Four and a half years on, brilliant before Covid. Staff left not replaced. So very short staffed. Residents washing care is very poor ie. baths, hair wash, bed baths. Too many agency staff who have not a clue, makes it very hard for carers. Nursing staff, very good. Do not agree with staff rotation from one unit to another. Residents get used to regular face recognition and it upsets them with strangers doing personal care or agency nurses (medication problem). This is their home, not an establishment.

My grandma has been a resident for 3 years. I was upset when she was first put into residential care but when I went down to see her I was very impressed. From the moment you walk through the door, every member of staff are so warm and welcoming and you can just feel the positive vibe. The decor is lovely and light and loved the dining room. It really does feel like a home from home. My grandma came in looking poorly and withdrawn and within a few months, she was smiling and joining in games. I absolutely love visiting and even now as she is really poorly the care and attention the staff give is excellent. I can't thank the staff enough.
