Overall Experience
My father has been made to feel very welcome by the wonderful staff at Bessingby Hall. It means the world to us to know that he is in such a kind and compassionate environment.
The care team have taken the time to get to know Dad’s interests, and support him to enjoy birdwatching and deer spotting in the grounds, which he loves.
As a close and loving family, this has been a difficult transition period for us, but the staff have been supportive and kind to Mum, who was naturally anxious about leaving Dad at first. The lines of communication are always open.

I would like to offer my sincere thanks to all involved and to publicly recognise the hard work and professionalism extended to my family at this time.

Overall Experience

I have visited my brother in law on several occasions in Bessingby Hall. Every time I have visited I have been so pleased with the care that the staff provide. It is obvious he is well looked after, which for a man who always insisted he was clean shaven and didn’t have a hair out of place is very important! The staff are friendly and helpful and you always feel welcome when visiting! When speaking to my brother in law they are kind and considerate. His room is always clean, as are the communal areas. It is never easy choosing the correct care home but I feel Bessingby Hall is fulfilling its promise to care for my brother in law in the best way possible.

Overall Experience
Mum has just returned from her holiday in Bessingby Hall, she has enjoyed her stay making new friends, the staff were all very kind and welcoming. Mum has always been a solitary person not one to socialize or interact readily but the staff have encouraged friendship, given her lots of attention, kindness and affection and managed dealing with the occasional temperamental outburst.
I know where to book her holiday for next year.

Thank you to all the other staff that have cared for Mum
