Clarendon Hall Care Home

Lovely staff, keep me informed about my wife's care.

My elderly relative has been living at Clarendon Hall Care Home for a few years now. I have always been impressed with the high levels of care and respect afforded to my relative by staff and managers alike. Recently my relative's son passed away unexpectedly and they provided compassionate care and support for her at what was obviously a very difficult time. They arranged for her to attend the funeral with one of her favourite and trusted carers who looked after her extremely well during and after the service. I can say from experience that staff at Clarendon Hall Care Home really do care for their residents and really do consider them as part of their extended family. Thank you to everyone.

My mum was initially sent in for respite but as things unfolded, realised she needed full-time care. It was very difficult but the staff are absolutely amazing both to my mum and to us as her family. We are included and kept up to date with everything regarding her care. They go above and beyond. I feel relaxed knowing she is so well cared for with every dignity shown.

The food was excellent and available at all times.

Our experience of Clarendon Hall was amazing. We had the difficult decision to put our Grandad into a care home along with the hospital staff decision and we could not have wished for a better place for him. He had his own lovely room with en-suite and he enjoyed the meals and cups of tea. Everyone was so kind and helpful to us and tried to accommodate us as best they could in the middle of a pandemic. He spent his last days at Clarendon and the staff cared for him so well and allowed us to visit under exceptional circumstances. If you’re looking for somewhere for your family member I’d recommend Clarendon Hall a million times over.

A caring, loving and friendly environment. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who take care of the family as well as the resident with love and compassion.

This last year has been an extremely difficult one, due to the Covid virus. Yet our family are absolutely delighted with the first-class care our mum continued to receive at Clarendon Hall. During the time we were clapping outside for the NHS - we were also clapping out thanks to every member of staff at Clarendon Hall. Full credit and compliments to the lovely teamwork, carers, cooks, maintenance, cleaners, activities organiser, nurses, admin - all of them. It wasn't nice to be unable to see our mum, but hugely comforting to hear her tell us how well she was looked after and cared for. Thank you.

I would also like to praise the person who organises the activities which are very varied and interesting.

Clarendon Hall is fabulous. My mum is looked after very well. She is very happy there and the staff are lovely, mum thinks of them all as family. During Covid the care home has gone above and beyond to keep the residents safe. Well done to the team, both my mum and the family are extremely grateful.

I have nothing but praise for Clarendon Hall. The staff are so kind and caring and nothing is too much trouble. My mother is very happy and enjoys their company. She is looked after so well and I feel confident that I made the right decision for her to go there. Mum loves the food and the activities are always interesting and imaginative. The whole family are so pleased to see how happy she is at Clarendon Hall.

My wife has been at Clarendon Hall now for the last 11 months. On my first visit, I was impressed with the standard of the home and the attention the staff were attending to the residents. It is now 11 months on. Covid-19 is upon us all. Very testing times for all but more so for the staff. The quality of care, the conversations to the residents, the atmosphere is bright and happy. They have games and quizzes, one to ones with the residents. I am quite happy with the excellent standard of care at Clarendon. Very happy

Clarendon is a lovely home with very pleasant lounges and dining room. The entertainment provided is always interesting to the residents.

The entertainment is second to none - something going on every day with maximum effort. From management to carers to kitchen staff - everyone is excellent. The food is also very good. Everyone is approachable and I highly recommend this home.

Mum is happy and well looked after. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.

So far so good, homely, finishing touches supplied by a particular member of staff is really caring.

We feel confident and assured that Mum is receiving the care and attention she needs. She has got to know many of the staff and although she has her 'favourites' she gets on with everyone and feels safe knowing that there is always someone around looking out for her. Her placement at Clarendon has brought us immense peace of mind, thank you to the manager and the team.

Although my father was only in this care home for a short time, the nursing care and general care was excellent. The family was always informed and well looked after as well.

Having visited the care home every day I am always being received by all of the staff. The way that they all cope with the residents is amazing. Clarendon Hall is the perfect place for my wife.
