My father went to Bridgewater Park for a respite period of 2 weeks which we extended to 4 weeks. Due to the excellent care he has recieved and the service we have recieved, we have decided to extend this to long term.

We cannot fault this care home and cannot speak highly enough of the staff and service.

My nanna was very well cared for during her time in Bridgwater. All of the staff members are very friendly and you're always welcomes with a smile when you arrive. The home is always clean and tidy. The food always looks lovely too! She was so well looked after she was able to return to her own home.

After 3 weeks in a hospital we had the opportunity to move our 81 year old mother to a care home with nursing care. What a difference it made to our mother and my sister and I. We cannot recommend Bridgewater Park highly enough. The whole team from office, nurses, carers, catering staff, tea ladies, cleaners were all angels in disguise who wrapped our mother (and us) in compassionate, loving, tender care made the most difficult and painful of times as dignified and caring as was possible. We cannot thank and praise them enough.

Bob received good care at Bridgewater Park in Scunthorpe. His carers and nurses made sure he was well looked after during his short stay at the home.
We felt happy that his needs were being met and that he was safe and well looked after.
The home is in the process of some renovation and decoration which will make it an even better environment for residents and visitors alike.

Would recommend.

Throughout Mum's 14 month stay at Bridgewater - initially on the dementia side, then in palliative care for the final 2 weeks, she was in very good hands.
We felt sure at all times that she was safe, comfortable, and treated with respect and dignity.
All staff were kind and helpful.

Our thanks go to the wonderful team at Bridgewater.

My mother has been in Bridgewater Park Care Home for over eighteen months. Thank God she's so happy, they take extremely good care of her, all the staff from the nurses, cleaners, carers, laundry staff and kitchen staff, everyone. They are like her second family and mine, so thoughtful, caring and considerate, nothing is too much.
Any time my mum has been poorly they have been straight on the phone to ask advice from her doctor and any small issues are dealt with immediately. I go every day, near enough, to see my mum and chat with all the staff, great bunch, and they always pop in to have a chat with my mum if I don't go.
I have realised from all this time what a great job all the staff do, even though understaffed at times, no resident goes without and my mum loves the food and especially all the delicious puddings.

I would just like to thank everyone for making my mum's life worth living and don't get me wrong, she can be a bit of a diva sometimes as we all know.

Staff taking long time to answer calls when buzzed. Mum left in soiled nappies for long periods. Room not always cleaned daily. Have had to ask for toilet to be cleaned and bin to be emptied on more than one occasion. Not enough nursing staff over weekends. One nurse for all the patients on Mum's side of the home is not good enough. Mum left in pain for long periods before any pain relief administered.

Took my brother in without any assessment. Substandard care from the start. Unable to meet his personal care needs, he went without a proper wash for over 6 months causing the most horrific pressure sore!. Alarms from rooms are turned to silent and staff cherry pick which residents they help! Residents left soiled or hanging from beds, their shouts for help blatantly ignored! Personal belongings stolen! Such a shame because this home does have some amazing staff that go above and beyond but it seems it's easier to get rid of a resident than deal with staff who fail to provide the level of care this facility claims to provide!

I would warn anyone thinking about sending a loved one here to think again; it needs an independent inspection and the dishonest staff removing or just shutting down.

I am one of three daughters. Our mother was in Bridgewater Park Care Home for three months. Each day, one of us was with her from lunch through to tea time and sometimes beyond. We got to know many of the staff. All of whom treated our lovely Mum with kindness, respect, care and gentleness.
Was everything perfect all of the time - no. Would I bring another treasured relative to be nursed her - absolutely, yes!
One nurse was truly exceptional but all the staff deserve recognition for the devotion they show.

We sincerely thank you!

From the moment we went in, everyone always said hello, not one member of staff just walked by without saying hello. Alwats extremely helpful, and nothing too much trouble.
Cares made time to talk to my mum and never just did their job, but went out of their way to be friendly and help my mum.

Pleasant surroundings.

The staff here are second to none and cared for my father until he recently passed. Nothing was ever too much for them and they treated him with utmost care and respect. They were empathetic to the family and my father told us he liked it there. Their food was lovely and the staff and manager have been just like close family to us. Thank you and keep doing what you are doing because you are making a difference to people's lives.
