Although my dear mum's stay here was short she was made to feel very comfortable by all the staff. It is very welcoming, light and airy, the staff could not do enough for me or us as a family. Many thanks.

I found all the staff members extremely happy, kind and helpful. Whenever I asked any questions or requested anything for my mum I felt confident they were referring to her and knew her and her care needs. The home and mum's room were always clean and fresh and I was happy in the knowledge that my mum
was made happy and comfortable in the short stay she had before she sadly passed away. I cannot thank the staff enough for their compassion.

Felt right as soon as we came to view. The room gave us the same feeling, light, airy, homely and didn't view anymore. It just felt right for Mum. Thank you to all at Bridgewater Park, although thank you is not nearly enough.

Visiting my mother-in-law was made a pleasurable experience with the support of the very helpful, diligent, caring and happy attitude of your staff. They are to be congratulated for doing a difficult job, which at times I am sure is quite stressful. My wife echoes these thoughts at a difficult time
for her mum, but it was uplifting to see her doing so well. She has only been in, just over a week, so we hope she continues to improve. Thank you.

I cannot fault the level of care my mother received during respite. The staff have been efficient, helpful, friendly and gone the extra mile. I cannot thank everyone enough. If the facility my mother is being transferred to is not suitable, I would not hesitate to transfer her back on a permanent basis.

My partner stayed at this care home for three or so months after being hospitalised.
The staff were friendly and considerate, maybe a little rushed! But I can't recall her waiting too long for anything when I was there and she has said there was never too long between ringing the bell and someone arriving.
The food I can certainly describe as plentiful, regular and filling, although she now drinks tea by the gallon, which I think is a habit she gained from here! The rooms were spacious and always very clean, Can't really comment on anything else. The only thing I can think of, that I would suggest, is there being some update to the system regarding medication, as it did seem to get a little confused from time to time, but that could have been merely due to my partner not living in the area and nothing else. Probably the best nursing home I've ever seen and certainly the best my partner has experienced. Think she was almost sorry to leave!

In as much as I appreciate the good ones among the staff, some of the staff are passive-aggressive on the phone.
This home is very biased and judgemental. Their service is never about their patient's best interests. My husband went in there for the short term and within two weeks his health deteriorated
that he couldn't speak anymore, someone who was verbal and lively.
Also, the staff gets involved in the family matters.
I will never recommend this home to anyone.

On behalf of myself and my mother, I wanted to thank Bridgewater, for their excellent care of my grandmother up until her death this weekend. She was a severely ill lady and rather difficult to look after, but they did so with dignity and care and we cannot fault them one bit. It was lovely to hear
how they always spoke about her so kindly and over the last 15 months, we have been so glad that she was in their care.

My father was only in Bridgewater for two weeks a year ago, unfortunately, after suffering from terminal cancer for over two years before he passed away. We chose Bridgewater, as it was outstanding accommodation compared to any others in or around the area. The staff were superb, going to any lengths
to ensure my dad’s comfort in his final weeks and days. They pretty much asked him what he wanted to eat towards the end and did their utmost to accommodate his every need. Couldn’t ask for kinder, more competent or caring staff. I wholeheartedly recommend this home and worry so much for them during these dreadful coronavirus times. All the best to you all.

Mum came into Bridgewater for a week respite. We had been so worried that she would not receive good loving care. We could not have been more wrong. They have been wonderful and managed Mum's pain and anxiety far better than we had at home. If Mum needs to come back I am grateful she has Bridgewater

Lucy is an experienced registered manager, having worked as a registered manager in two other complex care management roles prior to joining Bridgewater Park. Lucy is a qualified nurse of 10 years, RNLD. Prior to this, Lucy has experience working as a social services contact worker and has also dedicated time to being a volunteer worker.


Lucy is dedicated to ensuring that the home offers exceptional standards of care in comfortable surroundings, with positive outcomes for people. One of Lucy's biggest passions is delivering person-centred care to the people she supports, and creating a positive environment for individuals she supports and staff.
