Bridgewater Park Care Home has provided a wonderful, safe home for my father at the end of his life. Their support, dignified care and help have been above and beyond our expectations. The wonderful carers and nurses have been amazing, from my dad's first day to his last. Everyone has shown amazing
support to my dad in his day-to-day care. The room is always immaculate and hygiene is always to a very high standard.
I cannot thank everyone enough at what has been a most difficult time for my dad, mum and all our family. I would recommend Bridgewater to everyone, nothing is too much trouble.

The staff always gave good care showing kindness, patience and understanding. They were very friendly with a professional attitude. The food was excellent and fluids to be had each day. All staff were very approachable and dealt promptly with any concerns. The home itself was always clean and tidy.

Falls short in so many ways. I don’t know if the negligence is simply down to bad organisation or that some of the staff just don’t care. Had issues with missing meals, cleanliness and dignity to name but a few.

My mother was a resident for three months with your assistance until her death on the 19th April. She passed away peacefully with your excellent nursing staff by her side. She had been cared for during her residency by two carers in particular, both of which had shown care, warmth and understanding
with outstanding professionalism for my mother's needs. I can only speak most highly of the overall facility and care given to my mother from the management and her excellent team. Many thanks.

My mother-in-law has just had a respite stay in Bridgewater. I must say it is one of the nicest homes I have been in. From entering the building to leaving, all the staff are very pleasant and welcoming. The care she received while in there was excellent, and she returned home quicker than expected
due to the care she received. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff with the residents, you can hear how nice they are with them while visiting.

My sister-in-law was transferred from the hospital to Bridgewater Park as the previous care home was unsatisfactory with poor care, hygiene and facilities. As safeguarding was an issue, social care agreed a placement to Bridgewater Park would be best. The nurses and staff (carers and admin) were all
professional and caring from the outset. For the final few months, the care for my sister-in-law, up to her passing in February 2023, was exemplary. Thank you.

I feel lots of improvements could be made. The standard of bedding is very poor. Also, cleanliness is not good. Staff are run off their feet, not enough staff, the reason is poor pay. This needs addressing by management as the reason for no recruitment. Too much form filling by staff, I feel this wants
addressing so more time could be given to residents' needs.

We really like this home as all the staff are very helpful. My husband has settled very well in this home. I would recommend this to anyone who asked. The building and all rooms are well maintained, very clean and well decorated. All of the staff appear to be attentive, efficient and very helpful. There is a choice of food at all mealtimes and snacks during the day.
After hearing stories about other nursing and residential facilities, I can definitely

I found the home very clean and organised, the staff were very helpful and kind and helped in every way they could. I can't comment on food or activities as this was non-applicable to my brother-in-law but what I saw other residents have looked excellent. I would highly recommend Bridgewater Park Care

Lucy is an experienced registered manager, having worked as a registered manager in two other complex care management roles prior to joining Bridgewater Park. Lucy is a qualified nurse of 10 years, RNLD. Prior to this, Lucy has experience working as a social services contact worker and has also dedicated time to being a volunteer worker.


Lucy is dedicated to ensuring that the home offers exceptional standards of care in comfortable surroundings, with positive outcomes for people. One of Lucy's biggest passions is delivering person-centred care to the people she supports, and creating a positive environment for individuals she supports and staff.
