After Mum having been in hospital for 9 weeks and having 2 massive operations, she came to Bridgewater. Sadly, Mum was only there 8 days before passing away. The staff were all fantastic, so loving and caring. Mum settled in straight away and passed away peacefully and with dignity due to this.

Every member of staff have been extremely helpful, nothing is any trouble. Mum feels safe and secure. This has eased the pain of her last few weeks of life, while being cared for mum wanted for nothing and was treated with the greatest of respect. We as a family feel it was the best choice we could

Felt a bit apprehensive on coming here but since my stay, I have been well looked after. If I needed to stay again I would have no worries. Staff very friendly and helpful, could not do enough for me. Food very good. Would recommend this home to my friends.

Mum has moved here from another care home and the standard of care received here is 100% better. Mum is very difficult at times to manage due to her dementia and Alzheimer's but at all times she looks clean and cared for.

Both my parents have been residents at Bridgewater Park, Mum on nursing care and Dad both residential and nursing. Mum sadly passed away in 2016 after three months and Dad recently having been there for two years. The care they received was first class. The staff are kind, caring and so supportive not
only of my parents but of us all as a family at what have been such difficult times.
Dad considered it "home" which speaks volumes in itself. We felt like members of one big caring and loving family. In short Bridgewater Park is a wonderful place and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend here to anyone.

Seems to be a total reluctance to help my partner get out of bed into a chair a special chair in her room. This seems to be having depressing effect as she is always saying she wants to get into the chair. For a short time, this happened and she seemed to enjoy it. The carers are happy to do it if only
they had permission.

My sister was transferred from hospital having suffered a broken leg after a fall. The move is temporary in order that we can sell her house and purchase a bungalow. She has been treated very well during her stay and has given us great peace of mind whilst we get on with the business of house sale and
purchase of bungalow. I don't know how we would have managed all this without Bridgewater Park Care Home - keep up the good work.

My mother has been in Bridgewater Park for over four years and I find the quality of care is nothing short of excellent. It is very reassuring that my mother's welfare is managed to a very high standard by all the staff.
It is also good to know that my mother is encouraged to participate in activities
run by the two ladies who are responsible for all activities in the home.
I would also like to say that the Matron runs the home to a very high standard and is very approachable.

Lucy is an experienced registered manager, having worked as a registered manager in two other complex care management roles prior to joining Bridgewater Park. Lucy is a qualified nurse of 10 years, RNLD. Prior to this, Lucy has experience working as a social services contact worker and has also dedicated time to being a volunteer worker.


Lucy is dedicated to ensuring that the home offers exceptional standards of care in comfortable surroundings, with positive outcomes for people. One of Lucy's biggest passions is delivering person-centred care to the people she supports, and creating a positive environment for individuals she supports and staff.
