Care home is nice and modern. It's so nice that rooms overlook the gardens and courtyard. Staff are very helpful and obviously care about their residents. I think they have managed the Covid pandemic so well as they have kept my mum safe and well. They seem to have thought carefully about procedures during the pandemic and I feel safe visiting Mum in the pod they created.

Excellent care for my father and keeping activities going during COVID has really kept him going. He constantly praises the food and nurse care. My visits have always been a good experience and the staff made things easy and straightforward.

My grandad has been a resident for a few years now and I know he’s in good hands.
Before the pandemic, I enjoyed regular visits unannounced whenever I liked. The staff have his best interests at heart and I can sleep soundly knowing he’s getting the best care we could wish for. Whilst I know grandad enjoys the relationships he’s formed with all the staff, certain carers hold a special place in his heart and it’s comforting to know he is as happy as he can be and he’s safe.

I would highly recommend Crystal Court, another thing to note, it is always spotless, never smells like a crate home and the food is amazing quality.

I was visiting my sister-in-law for the first time after several months due to Covid and travel restrictions, the staff made me very welcome and made sure I had extra quality time with my relative due to how far I had travelled for the visit. They also made sure my relative was cared for when I was leaving as she was emotional. Beautiful residence and excellent caring staff. Highly recommend.

Was great to see my grandma after going so long through covid not seeing her at her old home.

Was very easy to book a visit and was handled great upon arrival. Can not wait to go back and see her again.

My darling mother-in-law has been living at Crystal Court since December 2019 and I feel very confident in saying the staff consistently provides excellent care to the residents. They now spend more time with her than us, her family and I are ever so grateful they manage to keep me informed as much as it is possible about the current pandemic situation and how my mother-in-law is doing. It was very important and reassuring to us that the team are interested in a brief of her life history before the illness, what she likes and dislikes, her sense of humour etc it feels like they know her. It feels really comforting to see her looking serene, smiley, content and healthy despite her age and illness.
Our last visit yesterday was perfect - sunny day, she recognised us for a little while, smiled a lot and was a chatterbox and even waved!

Thank you so much for the amazing work you continue to do - day in day out - we truly appreciate your commitment and professionalism.

My mother was extremely ill when she was transferred from hospital to Crystal Court. She only lived for another 12 days. During that time she was well cared for by some wonderful staff. Throughout that time, my sister and I were kept fully informed of her situation by the nurses on duty and the Care Home Manager. On the day she died I was allowed to spend several hours with her, despite the 14 day quarantine period having not elapsed. In that time I could see the wonderful care she was being given and how the nurses and care assistants treated her with as much dignity as they could. My sister and I are extremely grateful to everyone at Crystal Court for making Mum's final days as comfortable and peaceful as possible.

Really impressed with the manager and how friendly and knowledgeable she is when I’ve spoken to her on the phone. It’s good to know that people can still remain professional during this difficult time. I do not live locally but I was reassured that my Aunt remains safe and comfortable, and I am so grateful to all the staff who work so hard and who are dedicated to caring for others. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the home as my experience has been wholly positive.

I would be very pleased to recommend Crystal Court to someone wishing to place a loved one into a care home. It is a small, welcoming and very friendly care home where the staff know their clients well. The staff are all friendly and very caring. They will try and do whatever they can to assist your loved one.

Crystal Court is spotlessly clean.

Thanks to the professionalism of the nurses, carers and all the dementia team Dad spent his final months in a safe, caring atmosphere. He always seemed happy in his new home and loved the attention he received from the dementia team who always took so much care of him. Mum always went home knowing Dad was settled therefore she did not stress about him being left which was a good thing for her health. Sadly Dad passed away but I can’t thank the home enough for looking after him in his last few days sitting with him and talking to him even though they were busy.

My mother became a resident of Crystal Court a few weeks ago after being in hospital for quite a while. I can honestly say that the place is spotlessly clean, the staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. The food is superb and my mother was looked after so well. Unfortunately, she passed away last week after a long illness but the head lady and all the staff were there to support my husband and myself. I would highly recommend this nursing home to anyone requiring these needs. I cannot praise it enough.

Thank you to everyone there for all that you have done for my mother.

Six months ago my husband became a resident at Crystal Court. He was very agitated and unhappy after being in hospital for several weeks and his dementia and Alzheimer's disease had become much more severe. Very soon after the kind care and attention from a dedicated staff he has become much calmer and seems happier. The Staff go to extraordinary lengths to make the lives of both residents and those of their family the best they can be. I feel fortunate that my husband has been able to take up residency here and would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Overall Experience
We found ourselves in a difficult place having to find emergency care for my mother-in-law, due to the loss of her husband, which was totally unexpected. Making that choice was traumatic but on meeting with the support team immediately gave us confidence we were making the right choice.
From day one we have had no concerns whatsoever about the well being, care and conduct of my mother in law. In the lead up to the funeral we were struggling to secure a hair appointment so that she could look her best, and one of the carers came to the rescue so that on the day of the funeral my mother in law looked her absolute best.
Since arriving at Crystal Court my mother in law has never looked better.
To us, her Dementia has actually improved albeit fractionally but with this disease, fractional improvements are all it takes to give a better quality of life. That is due to the mental and emotional stimulation provided by everyone there.

The food is excellent and my mother in law want's for nothing. Long may it continue is all I can say.
