I would just like to say a big thank you to all the staff at Southwoods for taking such good care of my mother both before and during these difficult times. They have always cared for her extremely well, and have shown great compassion and kindness throughout - at times going above and beyond what one would expect. I would also add that whilst I am sure they have been very busy during the pandemic, they have made the time to keep us, as family, in the loop as to any changes in my mam's health and well being. Thank you!

My experience of this care provider is that I have every confidence in the provision made for the care of my mum - in fact, I could not fault it.

Meet the Team (1)

"Dear All....
"Dear All.I am delighted to be joining the team as Care Home Manager and look forward to getting to know our residents, their families, and our dedicated colleagues. My career in health and social care has spanned over 15 years, during which I have held leadership roles focused on delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting teams to achieve the very best outcomes for those they care for.
Throughout my career, I have been passionate about creating environments where residents feel safe, valued, and able to live fulfilling lives. I believe that excellent care is built on strong relationships, compassionate leadership, and a culture where residents, families, and staff are listened to and respected. I have experience leading teams through service improvements, developing staff, and maintaining high standards of care, quality, and compliance.
In this role, I hope to bring a positive and collaborative approach, supporting colleagues to grow and succeed while ensuring residents remain at the heart of every decision we make. I am committed to fostering a warm, welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels part of the home community and where families have confidence in the care their loved ones receive.
What excites me most about this opportunity is the chance to build on the home's strengths, develop meaningful relationships with residents and their families, and work alongside a dedicated team that shares a commitment to excellence. I am looking forward to celebrating successes together, creating new opportunities for residents to enjoy life to the fullest, and helping shape a positive future for the home”
