I am very happy at Connaught Court and feel that my needs are being met most of the time and the staff strive to ensure this.

I moved to Connaught Court as I had no relations close by and couldn't manage on my own and I do not regret moving in.

Every day the residents are looked after in an exemplary way. The only thing the residents require is impossible to provide and that is the family.

I work in the home as a volunteer once a week, running the shop for the residents. The residents and staff are always pleasant and are always pleased to see us. The home is always clean and tidy and the residents receive the care and dignity they require.

My husband and I were on the waiting list at Connaught Court and when he suddenly died in November 1015, I was very soon offered accommodation. I was extremely lucky and I love the room I am now in. Comfy, cosy and nice view from the window. The staff are perfect in every way, so kind and helpful form those in charge through to workmen and cleanliness. The food is extremely food and most enjoyable. Every where is beautifully clean. I would recommend Connaught Court to everyone and thank god I'm here where I feel safe a cared for.

I stay for lunch 4 times a month, the service and meals are excellent. All the staff are helpful and keep me informed if there is a concern. Always a cheerful greeting from reception staff when I enter. Tea and coffee always available makes it feel like home for visitors and residents. Residents are cared for well and respected. Rooms are clean and hygienic. All staff are patient in awkward situations when residents are confused.

My mum has dementia and often doesn't recognise me as I can only visit infrequently as I live in the USA. I am always really impressed with how caring, patient and cheerful all the staff are and how well cared for and loved my mother is. She has had some health issues (she's 95!) and the team work hard to make her as comfortable as possible and back to an even keel, or as even as can be managed. I am just simply highly impressed with the standard of the accommodation and the care and attention my mother receives.

Always a warm welcome at reception and whoever is on duty seems to know exactly where to find the resident you are visiting. Everything clean and tidy, and staff are cheerful and extremely helpful. Residents seem very content.

There is always a lovely atmosphere here - calm, welcoming, happy and friendly. The premises are always clean, smart, nicely furnished and comfortable. Tea, coffee and biscuits are always available at various venues within the building. As well as a main lounge there is a choice of smaller communal areas indoors and outside. The grounds and gardens are maintained to a high standard and are readily accessible. Regular activities are well attended. The managers are very approachable and friendly, all the staff smile. They all know my mother and all the other residents by name. Everyone takes time to have a word or two - it feels just like a large family.

My father was a resident taken in at very short notice. He was very ill and rallied within a couple of weeks. He settled in the home and was contented there. Staff were friendly and helpful always. The room could have done with redecoration but on the whole we were very satisfied with his care. He died earlier this year. Some staff even came to his funeral service.

I have always found the staff considerate and friendly. The premises are clean and well cared for. Currently there is building work going on which does not add to the attractiveness. We have used Connaught Court both with family and friends and found it a wonderful environment. Today we have called to see an old and dear friend and found him happy and very well cared for. I believe Connaught Court to be a treasure.

Visited our friend, who wasn't feeling very well today. A visit to his doctor had been arranged for this morning, a carer to take him in a wheelchair. Full marks. He rates Connaught Court highly, as do the many other friends who have been here over many years.

My mother came into the home in June 2015. She has settled well and loves the food! This was a major worry as she is a vegetarian. We love the atmosphere and the fact that there are animals about the place as my mother loves dogs. We feel happy that she is well looked after and in a safe environment. We have confidence in the staff.

Amazing caring environment, specially adapted to dementia patients. On site hairdresser to do hair for both ladies and gents who is fantastic with all residents. Mum is treated with dignity and love at all times and in 3 years I have never had any issues or cause for concern. My family and I thank our lucky stars every day that mum is able to be here and are eternally grateful to every single staff member.

My parents moved to Connaught Court last year and it has given them a new lease of life! The care they experience is outstanding and the staff cannot do enough for them. The environment is beautiful and I am always impressed by and amused by all the decanters of sherry everywhere - except there are never any glasses when I am passing! There is a varied programme of entertainment and plenty of stimuli, particularly for my dad who enjoys having other men to talk to.
