My mother in law has lived at St Marks for four and a half years. She loves living here and has enjoyed getting involved in all activities the home has to offer. She has loved all the staff on different floors and is treated with respect and dignity.

My mum has stayed here on respite for the 3rd time. She loves everything about her stay, the staff are amazing. When I leave her at St Marks I am at ease knowing she is happy and cared for.

My friend and I looked at various care homes and was about to give up when someone told us about St Marks Court, we instantly took notice and had a look around. We instantly loved the look (it wasn't a show home, like some). It was clean, friendly and fresh. We were taken around straight away and details were taken. The nurse in charge and the manager then visited my Auntie who was in hospital and had a friendly chat with her and her social worker and made arrangements to go into St Marks Court. The staff are friendly, caring and standards are very good.

All staff have come across as compassionate and caring. The 'duty' nurses always give me a full report on my friend's state of being. The place is kept clean and tidy and the staff are conscientious in maintaining my friend's hygiene.

Was sent here from the hospital after I fractured my ankle as somewhere to stay until the necessary adaptions were made to my own home. Stayed here just over a week.

I loved it. The staff were all friendly, the home itself was very welcoming and the other residents were easy to talk to.

You get the perfect mix of your own independence with the knowledge that staff are there if you need them.

I was a bit wary when I was told about being sent here, a lad in his mid-30s being sent to a care home, but in truth, I didn't want to leave when my time was up!

My aunt had an emergency tracheostomy and at 93 years of age and with cancer of the larynx she could not continue to live alone as she has previously done. This was mainly because of the level of management required for the stoma and also her possible deterioration in ability secondary to the cancer.

This happened quickly and was very traumatic. Her daughter (my cousin) and I looked at various nursing homes. Over the phone on our initial contact St Marks was positive, sounded able and experienced when asked if they could manage a trache. Not all homes contacted were the same. The home has helped my aunt come to terms with her present situation and settle in although she would of course prefer to be in her own home. All in all a good transition.

All the staff were exceptional when my mother needed two separate respite stays to recover from two broken hip incidents. They were professional, caring and very friendly making my mother feel at home. She loved her stay and was sorry to leave.

Suffering complex nursing needs, concerned St Mark's Court would struggle looking after my very sick husband. The staff were amazing giving care far beyond the call of duty, showing humanity and empathy.
