Allan Court is a busy care home. My father has been a resident for almost a year. The staff were very welcoming when my dad arrived and have been great at helping him settle in.
My dad's needs can be quite complex and demanding which they manage very well. He enjoys the food and gets on well with the
staff.

I am very impressed with Allan Court. I have always found the staff to be welcoming on my visits. Any concerns or questions as regards my brother's care have been answered and dealt with in a caring and professional manner. The home is clean and provides a good choice of meals. I am unable to visit
my brother as regularly as I would like but I know he is safe and well cared for.

My mum spent her last weeks at Allan Court where the care she received was exemplary. Every member of staff was friendly professional and approachable. Not only did they support and care for my mum they also looked after us as a family and made a very difficult time easier to cope with. My mum passed
away peacefully surrounded by her family and the staff at Allan Court made this possible. I spent a considerable amount of time at my mum's bedside and I witnessed the day-to-day running of the home. Each and every resident was treated with care and respect. I cannot praise the staff at Allan Court enough.

My aunt has been a resident since March 2024 and her physical and mental improvement has been remarkable. Just to say that Alan Court is lucky to have the staff member who makes sure the rooms and rest of the home are immaculate. Nothing is a bother to him. Anything you want help with he's there. He's a lovely person that you can have banter with. Also one of the nurses looks after our mam brilliantly.
She knows when my mam in room 6 isn't herself and gets the doctor out if necessary as mam won't tell the carers as she always says they have enough to do without her bothering them. I know it's their job but I want them to know they are greatly appreciated as well as all other staff.

We as a family find Allan Court to be a home from home for my nana. She can interact with others for activities if she wishes, or have time to herself in her own room. Nana has settled in well with the other residents and thinks of the staff as extended family. She is eating meals that she would never
have tried at home and enjoys everything that is given to her especially her cups of tea and a biscuit.

From meeting the care home staff in the hospital it was a very smooth transfer for my 96-year-old mother who has dementia. My mother has settled into her new home very quickly with the staff always ensuring she is clean and comfortable. All the staff in the home are welcoming and happy to meet visitors.
A great big thank you to all the staff supporting this transfer at a very difficult time.

Allan Court is a very friendly care home. All staff is very polite towards the family while visiting the care home. Always asked if you want a cup of tea or coffee. Allan Court is very clean and I love the way all the staff have close bonds with the residents and all the activities they do with the

Can't praise the staff and management enough for my partner's continued care at Allan Court, they all deserve medals for their outstanding care and commitment. The home is clean and comfortable at all times. My partner has been kept safe, clean and tidy since October 2023.

Allan Court, in my opinion, is the best care home ever. The home always appears clean, very fresh smelling and full of smiles and laughter. The management make you always feel welcome and evidently make a very caring, effective team. My brother is thriving since his admission to Allan Court. I feel
at home when visiting my brother. I really couldn't have wished for a better care home for my brother.

Allan Court is an amazing care home. My mam has only been there for about five to six months but I am so thankful to all the staff for the care she receives. The staff are lovely and friendly and my mam says they are all lovely to her. I also love the social media page as I can see all the amazing hard
work you all do. I would definitely recommend Allan Court, might even book myself a room there when I am older.

My mother has been a resident here for over five years. She requires a high degree of care and support to ensure she is kept comfortable. I am confident that she is receiving the very best of care here. All of the staff are friendly and always try hard to accommodate the needs of the residents. The
rooms and shared areas are kept very clean and tidy by a dedicated team of cleaning staff who are all very helpful. The care home is well-managed and I always feel welcome as a visitor. I am happy with every aspect of my mum's care and am reassured by the professional manner of the staff.

I would like to submit my heartfelt thanks to all the staff at the Allan Court nursing home. My wife was treated with such loving care, kindness and consideration and never failing dedication to my wife's painful times. I know that the staff loved her and she loved them. The high standard and understanding
set by all the people at Allan Court were first-class in every way not for just the residents but for the visiting relatives too. Sadly my wife passed away on Friday 13th January, aged 90 years.

Residents have a very relaxed atmosphere, experiencing a "home like" feeling. With their personal daily wishes reflected. eg. that lazy day feeling. contact with staff is always pleasant and friendly with light hearted exchanges. My mum was taken to Allan Court in April. She was confined to bed, but the staff took really good care, and my dad was very pleased with her care. Then she was moved from upstairs to downstairs to a nicer room, and the staff go up and beyond the care she needs. They all treat her so well, painting her
fingernails and her personal care. It was her 90th birthday in October, and they fed and watered us all which was greatly appreciated, had balloons and streamers, They made her day very special. My dad has been asked if he would like Christmas lunch at the home, so he can have Christmas with mam, so kind.

I have attended University and have degrees in Health and Social Care and in Healthcare Practice.
I have many years of care home experience, along with working in hospital and GP settings and working across the country in forensic roles.
I have worked hard to get to where I am today. I am very passionate about what I do, and I strive to achieve the best.
I am very proud to say I am now the home manager of Allan Court. I now feel like I am back to where I belong.
