Allan Court

I have both Mother & Father in law in this care home, both say the food is awful & often can't eat it.

The home is immaculately clean & very welcoming. A good variety of food & drink are provided, and the staff encourage all residents to eat properly. A lot of activities are provided, and participation is encouraged to help residents' overall well being.

my mum went into Allan Court in January this year, she has mild dementia and suffered with falls. We are blessed to have found this wonderful care home. It is beyond exceptional with wonderful caring staff, very clean. Everyone so friendly, kind and nothing is a bother for her or us as relatives - we could not be happier with her care here. It lessens so much pressure on us. Thank you to everyone.

Since my mum came to Allan Court we have seen nothing but pure care and kindness. The rooms are absolutely lovely, the whole place is lovely, clean and smells nice! All the staff are absolutely amazing. They have my mum's interest, care, happiness, health at heart. They all go above & beyond! We as a family feel part of their care too.

I have my husband, Herb, as a resident in Alan Court for just over 2 yrs now. I wasn't too sure at first. But as time has gone on, I realise he is well looked after; I have no reason to complain about anything, as staff have done. A good job all around. Herb and I have good relations with all staff.

my grandad was only in here for a short 4 months but the care and kindness they showed him was amazing, he was always smart and smiling and the staff were lovely. The way our family and my grandad has cared for these past few days does not go unnoticed lovley home would recommend to anyone.

I visit my sister at this care home every day. The staff are excellent with the residents everyone is very friendly and will help out with anything. There lots of activities for the residents to do together. I would highly recommend Allan court to anyone.

I could not praise Tammy and her staff enough, the way they look after my uncle on his last few days. The respect they give my auntie and family was just amazing. Tammy, Becky and Lauren went away and beyond their role, they are like family.

My Uncle Peter and Aunty Janet are both on Tammy's floor. When my uncle passed away at home, Tammy, Becky and Laura were amazing; they could not do enough. They went above expectations. They are amazing with my aunt Janet.

This is the first care home I have been to so I can't compare it for value for money?

My dad's needs can be quite complex and demanding which they manage very well. He enjoys the food and gets on well with the staff.

I am very impressed with Allan Court. I have always found the staff to be welcoming on my visits. Any concerns or questions as regards my brother's care have been answered and dealt with in a caring and professional manner. The home is clean and provides a good choice of meals. I am unable to visit my brother as regularly as I would like but I know he is safe and well cared for.

My mum spent her last weeks at Allan Court where the care she received was exemplary. Every member of staff was friendly professional and approachable. Not only did they support and care for my mum they also looked after us as a family and made a very difficult time easier to cope with. My mum passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and the staff at Allan Court made this possible. I spent a considerable amount of time at my mum's bedside and I witnessed the day-to-day running of the home. Each and every resident was treated with care and respect. I cannot praise the staff at Allan Court enough.

My aunt has been a resident since March 2024 and her physical and mental improvement has been remarkable. Staff are always very welcoming and I have personally witnessed their caring, attentive attitudes towards residents. My aunt enjoys her food, stating 'You always get a good meal'. I would have no hesitation in recommending Allan Court as a care choice.

Just to say that Alan Court is lucky to have the staff member who makes sure the rooms and rest of the home are immaculate. Nothing is a bother to him. Anything you want help with he's there. He's a lovely person that you can have banter with. Also one of the nurses looks after our mam brilliantly. She knows when my mam in room 6 isn't herself and gets the doctor out if necessary as mam won't tell the carers as she always says they have enough to do without her bothering them. I know it's their job but I want them to know they are greatly appreciated as well as all other staff.

We as a family find Allan Court to be a home from home for my nana. She can interact with others for activities if she wishes, or have time to herself in her own room. Nana has settled in well with the other residents and thinks of the staff as extended family. She is eating meals that she would never have tried at home and enjoys everything that is given to her especially her cups of tea and a biscuit.

I would like to thank Allan Court so much for the care my Nana received during her stay in Allan Court, especially during her last few weeks with us. The end-of-life care she got was second to none and I'll be forever grateful for all they did to ensure she was as comfortable as possible. Allan Court really is home from home. Beautiful home with beautiful staff, and beautiful values. Love to you all.

From meeting the care home staff in the hospital it was a very smooth transfer for my 96-year-old mother who has dementia. My mother has settled into her new home very quickly with the staff always ensuring she is clean and comfortable. All the staff in the home are welcoming and happy to meet visitors. A great big thank you to all the staff supporting this transfer at a very difficult time.

Wonderful home with very caring staff and my mother is very well looked after. The home is very clean and decorated to a high standard. Nothing is any bother to the staff.
