Allan Court

The staff and managers are brilliant and very friendly and polite. The staff and manager are always there to help and always friendly, they always keep me informed. Thank you so much and keep up the good work.

I have had constant contact with the staff on a weekly basis since my aunt became a resident in 2020. All questions were answered thoroughly. I have no concerns about my aunt. With fully professional staff that make the care home more of a holiday camp for my aunt. She has completely settled in with no upsets whatsoever. If a premium lager made care homes, this would be the best care home in the world. Very happy with everything.

My dad is well looked after, clean and happy. The first time I entered Allan Court I was immediately impressed and just knew this was the right place for my precious dad. The staff always have time to chat and answer any queries. All members of staff from cleaners, laundry etc, to management, get involved in activities.

Management are very helpful with information. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. I would recommend Allan Court to friends.

Very caring, helpful and friendly.

Mum has been in Allan Court over 3 years now and after the initial settling in period is happier than she has been for a long time. Our latest visit was under Covid restrictions and we felt that safety of the residents was of prime importance. The management and staff treat her with dignity and sympathy and she is one of their 'family'. The decor is always being updated, entertainment is good, food always looks delicious, staff are brilliant and very caring.

My mam went to live at Allan Court care home in March 2016; she was very happy there, very friendly, supportive management and staff. This care home is very clean. There is a wide range of food and drinks. Excellent for activities, always lots of residents to do. My brother has now gone to stay at Allan Court. It's so reassuring knowing your relatives are supported and well looked after. No one wants to put their loved ones in a care home. This home is amazing. All the staff are like your extended family. I can't thank the staff enough for all their amazing care and support over the years with my mam and brother. Dedicated staff, massive applause to them all.

My nephew was a resident at Allan Court from Feb 2019 until his death in May 2020. I cannot fault the care, love and devotion of all the staff at Allan Court shown not just to my nephew but to all the residents and also family members this care home is the best I have ever known. I have family that work in the care sector as well as friends Allan Court go above and beyond for residents. They keep them happy, entertained and show their love for the job they do it truly is one big happy family. Best wishes Allan Court.

My friend was very worried about entering a care setting but once here she settled very quickly with peace of mind knowing there was someone here all the time. Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. My friend certainly had her favourites. At times she enjoyed the company in the lounge area and other times the solitude of her room. Allan court is decorated with comfortable surroundings. The food was good and appetising with alternatives available. My friend came to love her stay. Thank you for everything.

It is very nearly 3 years since we decided and move my wife into Allan Court our decision was not taken lightly and it was only after a great deal of research that we made our choice. This is not the first occasion that I have spoken of the high standards of this home. I am impressed with the levels of tolerance shown by all of the staff, given often the difficult circumstances in which they work. I do not hesitate in recommending this safe and happy place for a loved one.

I think Allan Court is very good, the staff, food, entertainment and assistance for my Mam suits me, that's why I keep Mam in and have done for a long time.

My mother has been a resident for 9+ years. Her care has been very good. The current manager has made exceptional changes to the care home, all for the better. She deals with issues promptly and efficiently. On occasions, there does not seem enough staff upstairs, staff seem very rushed. The care home has been redecorated to a high standard and is clean and odour free.

My mother went into Allan Court for respite care. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Her room was very comfortable with an en-suite bathroom. Food was excellent and at times too much for her to finish. She would have loved to have joined in with the dancing but does not have much mobility in her legs. All in all, a very pleasant stay for her and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Allan Court.

Friendly, caring staff. Lovely home with a warm caring and loving environment. Always clean and smells fresh. My relative is very settled and cared for.

As I live far away, I now have peace of mind that my mam is being cared for in the correct manner.

My mother went to live in Allan Court due to advanced dementia (wandering at night). Initially, she was in the lower ground floor level which was excellent. She died August 2019 on the nursing floor. End of life care by staff was excellent.

My grandma has been in Allan Court for two years and I have always been pleased with her care. The care staff are extremely friendly and very welcoming. They always stop for a chat and take an interest.
